Did the tour with RUBÉN. Totally 5-stars in content, speed (talking and walking), coherence of what he explained, good balance of general information and in-depth details that are valuable to understand e.g. historical, societal, cultural context.
2 hours seem a long time, but it's short in a city with such a turbulent history, so that there might lack time to talk about Sevilla's history since the Constitutuion in 1812, dictatorship till the 20th century... However, at least he does not ignore it and mentions it in the tour. I particularly liked how he connected the opera Carmen, with the Fábrica the tabaco/University, labour conditions, women and ethical discrimination at those times concerned. There is definitely potential in such a tour, which not only shows off sights, explains about architects and Kings but transmits more societal context which is still relevant up to now.

Ott was a wonderful guide — very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his country. He kept the tour engaging with great jokes and was always happy to answer questions. I could honestly have listened to him for hours! The route was very well planned and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!

We did the insiders storytellers tour with TOM. He was funny, very informative and gave us a great inside into the city of Brussels, its people and its history. Thoroughly recommended and TOM was brilliant.

This tour guide was passionate about Sevilla, about its culture, about its history. He shared his deep knowledge and passion of Sevilla, and by the end of the tour, I was also in love with the place. That was the difference.

Yelena was our great guide for a walking tour of Trieste during pur forst visit and we now have good knowledge of the history and way around the city centre.

First of all, I want to express what I'm sure everyone in the group (around twenty-something people) was thinking by the end of the tour: he is an absolutely fantastic guy (if you'll allow me the expression): incredibly open, friendly, efficient, and highly knowledgeable about everything he explains as you go along. He tells you things honestly, with their pros and cons, shares his recommendations, and even parts of his personal life. Thanks to him, I'm leaving Berlin wanting even more... hahaha!

In fact, that's exactly how good he was. We joined the Essential Berlin Tour in the morning, and before it had even finished, we had already signed up for the Berlin Wall & Cold War Tour, which he also guided. More than three hours in the morning and another three in the afternoon, yet with him the time simply flew by.

We had come to Berlin from Barcelona to attend InnoTrans, the world's leading railway industry trade fair. After spending Thursday and Friday walking all over Messe Berlin for work (according to our Apple Watch, we covered nearly 35 km over those two days), we thought we'd be completely exhausted by Saturday. Instead, it turned out to be an incredibly enjoyable day that went by so quickly and left us wanting more.

We'll definitely come back to Berlin, and we'll be looking for him again! 😊
