This company is great to deal with and their customer service is exceptional, easy process and fast payment!

I've sold 2 phones to Frift and they have been excellent, fast payment and excellent customer service.

Surprise surprise.
No contact for 2.5 weeks. Wrote a bad review on here and within 12 hrs got a response. 30% under the original price.
Tactic is. Offer the highest prices, keep the device for ages to keep you waiting then offer a low price. Most people would just agree as I did, as been waiting so long and fed up. Only positive is the payment is made fast.
Wouldn’t recommend this company.
Just seems like a planned out method for giving crap prices.

Sent my phone off to them and waited over a week to find that they couldn't unlock it ! Gave them the number code and they said they still couldn't do it and would try it over a weekend. Had numerous emails and calls to say they are wiping the phone which i had already done and wasn't sure why they were doing it again. 3 weeks now and still no joy - don't respond to emails quickly. Had a £24 reduced offer as they said there was pitting on the back of the phone (i have photo's) there definitely isn't and the battery health was only 80% (what do they expect with a 2/3 year old phone). Never in any of the calls i had with 'Tom' said that there was pitting on the back of the phone or the battery was slightly low. I have sold many phones over the years to different companies with absolutely no issues at all and feel that I should have read reviews before using them as my understanding is that they do this to everyone - finding a slight fault so that they can to reduce their offer. I am waiting to hear whether they will send the phone back at their cost which i doubt.

Sent phone in to be checked ,then got email saying it had screen burn which I knew it didn't have so rejected their derogatory offer of £10.contacted them after waiting nearly 2 weeks on return of phone so received email stating it's a £10 charge to have phone returned . Stay well clear of this firm... scams & cons spring to mind, disgrace.

*** Update 5 Feb 2025: I called Frift, they answered quickly, were helpful and advised that they had responded by email and when I checked my junk folder I found it, I don’t know why the email went to junk when previous emails had been delivered successfully. I accepted the offer as otherwise I had to pay £10 for my phone to be returned, payment was received the next day. I subsequently found another email in my junk with an improved offer but I didn’t get that as I hadn’t replied. ***
Made a substantially lower offer when they received my phone and have not returned my phone 10 days after I requested it to be returned. Have not responded to my requests for an update. I sold my phone to Frift as they offered the most money (I know) they reduced the offer by 30% due to slight signs of wear, I rejected the offer and requested the phone to be returned. The phone was in excellent condition when I sent it.

I sent my iPhone 11 to Frift around 20th January and received confirmation of this. I was originally quoted £156 but after they reviewed my device this was revalued at £75. The report stated that the iPhone screen was covered in scratches. This is incorrect, and I photographed the phone prior to sending. Due to the low offer I opted to have my phone posted back. I have since received poor communication and I am still waiting to have the phone returned. I have also been asked to transfer £10 to the account details provided by them so my phone can be retuned. This money was sent on 3rd Feb. I have since had an email on 5th Feb saying the accounts team can now not find the money! Absolutely shocking company.

Sent phone, they offered £144 for it but when they received it they offered £80 due to scratches, there wasn't 1 scratch on it!
would steer well clear!

I was quoted £288 for my iphone 13. I was sent the package in order to send it to them. Did not do this straight away and was tortured by them requesting it was posted. Phone calls, emails asking why i had not sent it.
When eventually getting round to sending I received an email of a revalue of £80... tbh Frift should be embarrassed by this.
I refused the offer and like so many others am waiting on my phone back.
Not so quick returning the phone. I would hate to think they are in the process of taking parts from it to use on other devices before they eventually return??
Frift any chance of getting my IPhone 13 that was in good working order with cosmetic scratches back?

Sent a phone to them last Friday and received payment today. In that time I have received three emails keeping me updated throughout the whole process. I was slightly dubious when I tried to access their website which was unavailable however I cannot fault Frift

Incorrect information on communications and a severe lack of internal controls.
Sent in my phone, Frift emailed me on 27/12/2024 confirming my payment was pending and again on 02/01/2025, both emails said to wait at least 3 working days which contradicts the information on their website which states 24-48 hours to receive a payment.
I contacted them on 9th January to chase as no payment received, and was informed the accounts team would look into this and I would receive a call back. No call back happened so I rang on 10th January, explaining I would need to report this to Action Fraud. I was then informed they had sent my payment to another customer with the same name - there appears to be a serious lack of internal controls here into payments being sent out, as well as a lack of due diligence on their external accounts team.
If I hadn’t have chased them, I would have not received my funds as it was ‘showing as green and paid on their end’ - therefore there does not seem to be a reconciliation taking place to ensure funds are sent to the correct customers. Eventually I did receive payment after a lot of chasing and quite frankly a waste of my time.
Ultimately, they lack the operational processes and control standards to deliver the service they state they will provide.

I’ve since heard from Frift, and they apologised for the delay. They increased the offer and I have accepted. Money was received on the same day. Thank you - but a little stressful with delay in communication.

I sent in a phone and it was downvalued. I contacted them by phone and I declined the offer. They said I would receive an email to clarify the address to return the phone. I haven’t received the email. Their website is curiously down - appears as they it is not being maintained. Their phone number goes to the voicemail of someone called Chloe Hicks. Very suspicious. I expect the phone sent back as soon as possible.

Please please avoid these crooks!
They have had my phone over a week now, i’ve had zero update unless I’ve ended up calling them up myself, days passed by where I would hear nothing, then when I finally speak to somebody the valuation was lowered for screen scratches??
Payment albeit lower than expected was supposed to go in my account yesterday, I’ve recieved nothing and now it looks like the website is down.
Please please avoid these crooks like the plague, there are much better options out there.

Shame I can’t add photos or videos to show how phone was returned scumbag of a director blaming me for damaging my own phone what a fool

I sent two phones to them, they revalued them as they have for others. I didn’t wish to accept their revaluation as it was a significant hit and I don’t agree with what they said. Requested the phones to be returned, but they haven’t appeared. Sent an email, no response. Tried calling, sent to voicemail. I will give them another week and then start small claims!
