Absolutely horrific customer services, rude, sarcastic, blunt communication from numerous staff members.
Not one staff member follows through with what they say they will do, calls and emails do not get returned, nothing gets dealt with as a tenant you are chasing these people continuously.
Several lies told by staff.
The property I have rented is in a terrible state, I have had outstanding repairs for 3 years now still not resolved.
Properties should be to a high standard when let out. This is not the case. Doors and windows are not usable, health and safety measures are not abide by!
Fulfords do not follow laws on renting properties at the correct price and do not advertise properties accurately.
By far the worst letting agents I have ever dealt with and would never use their service for rentals or purchase again.
Fulfords Plymouth - Sold Stc
Fulfords Plymouth - James Jason Ashleigh Hannah
I have just sold my home STC with them. James valued it. And did the viewings. Jason dealt with my paperwork and offers. Ashleigh and Hannah were in the background booking viewings and doing confirmations for me. They were all great. My house was on the market about 10 days. I have found them to be thorough throughout the process so far. And highly efficient. So far I can highly recommend them. I hope the high standard of care continues throughout the process until we have exchanged!
Terrible Estate Agents
This agent is rubbish at communicating with their customers. It took them a year to sell our house after they said it would sell quickly. Throughout this period, it was us who had to ring them to get the updates they promised we would get every week. If we didn't ring we heard nothing.
Also 9 times out of 10, when you do ring them it goes the the answering.machine.
The staff also need to ring / email customers back when they say they are going to
If you are thinking of using them to sell your house don't!
Absolute rubbish.
Absolute rubbish. No communication, don't call you, don't make any effort to sell your property, please just avoid there are many other agents.
I have escalated my complaint and still nothing, the whole company is a shambles.
Fulfords in Dawlish
We sold our house through the Dawlish office
Sean Olley was professional, efficient & friendly
He kept us up to date with progress and played a key part in liasing with all parties to deliver a speedy sale
Thanks Sean, totally appreciate your help, you're definitely a great asset to the Company

Fulfords were very prompt in calling us after we filled in the initial free valuation form online.
Thank you to Joe E at Fulfords Newton Abbot for appraising our property today. Details Joe gave were thorough in terms of what Fulfords offered as a company = clear pricing, the selling procedure, in house services, which as a package could enable a smoother sale or purchase and he spoke with very high regard for the Team in working together - with a bit of friendly competition on who can capture each client and get them through the finishing line first 😆 Joe was very professional in appearance, polite, friendly, had a positive attitude and he has the gift of the gab (in a nice way), I could feel his drive for productivity and goal to not only gain business but also for personal achievement. The written valuation report was very prompt after the home visit.
Thank you again 😊
Tammy
If you want a professional
If you want a professional, polite, and excellent customer support then you'll use Fulfords in Tavistock to either sell your property, or indeed sell you one from there own listings.
Mica, Toby, and Tod made it very simple for us as we purchased our Duke of Bedford Cottage.
I cannot fault them,
And all 3 of them are so nice to talk to.
Thank you Mica and the chaps.

Fulfords Plymouth are a disaster
Fulfords Plymouth really dropped the ball. Promised move in dates and then at the last second pulled out. Have to now scramble to find a new place to stay ahead of my flight- 4 days before my flight. Thank you Fulfords, threw my whole move up in the air.
Exeter branch lettings do not go near…
Exeter branch lettings do not go near this company your property will be wrecked in no time they don't inspect even when you have concerns, they take the money quick enough these companies have to be named and shamed Susan Cooke happy to put my name to this grievance, to be very precise , it is the Exeter lettings branch, Paris street I believe .
Kim at Fulfords was brilliant
Kim at Fulfords was brilliant. Without her persistence in chasing the solicitors I think our move would have taken so much longer than it did. Communication was great. Would recommend.
Exmouth branch
We signed with fulfords in exmouth June 2024 and to begin with they were helpful and the initial appointment was good so we signed up with them as we have had some dealings with them before. That turned out to be the worst decision ever. After a week I had to call them to ask why my property was not on there website only to told oops sorry, then I had to phone again to ask why there was no description about my property which they corrected.on one particular viewing my husband left our property to allow the agent to show the client around, after an hour and twenty minutes my husband phoned the agent as she hadn't phoned him to say the viewing was over to be told oops sorry I forgot.we stayed for the timed we signed for as we had no choice but NEVER would I recommend them to anyone.it took 16 weeks and numerous phone calls for them to put a sale board up and 4 calls later they still haven't picked it up.i don't blame them for the lack of footfall but I from start to finish we constantly had to phone them. Totally useless.
Emily gets things done!
We have been renting our home through Fulfords for more than 7 years and always find that the team are helpful and responsive to issues when they arise. A particular shout-out must go to Emily, for her tenacity in resolving an issue between our Landlord and the local council on our behalf, without her persistence it may never have been sorted - thanks Emily!
Fulfords in Tavistock - highly recommend
We want to say a massive thank you to the team at Fulfords in Tavistock, especially Mica.
Mica was there every step of the way in our journey, selling my parents’ bungalow, selling my house and then helping us to purchase a bigger property for all of us. She was so patient, understanding, supportive and went above and beyond. Mica was extremely professional but also so friendly and approachable which helped to develop a lovely relationship.
From the very beginning, right through to the end of our moving journey the whole team were faultless. Toby managed everything so professionally with a really personal touch and Todd was always ready to help whenever I called. This team works so well together, makes you feel so supported and are really there for you. You always feel that you are in safe hands and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The team at Fullfords
The team at Fullfords, Newton Abbot have been fantastic. They took on our property after we were failed by another local company and we were thrilled to get immediate attention on the house and found a buyer in short time.
We were looked after by Alice Cox who was diligent, friendly and always came back to us in a timely manner. She was on the ball throughout the house sale and certainly showed great customer service whilst assisting with issues we head with our Conveyancer. Thank you Alice and the rest of the team for all your help.
Fulfords Plymstock are brilliant
Fulfords Plymstock are brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful. Emma the manager went out of her way to help. 5🌟
If you want to be disappointed choose fulfords
Had 2 viewings all confirmed via text and email, got completely stood up at the first property with no calls or communication and the number left in emails is an office that is closed until Monday at 9 am (this is a Saturday viewing)
After 20 minutes we left and went to our second viewing on the other side of Exeter, had a confirmation at 12.30 pm to remind us it's all going ahead. We arrived at the agreed time being 2.15 pm and weren't able to view it because of miscommunication between the sellers and fulfords. The agent lied and said they had been trying to call us and tried to blame it on the fact "they must have another number for you" even though we had received text messages that day. Absolutely terrible communication from them and I feel sorry for anyone trying to sell their property using such an incompetent business. Complete time wasters and I expect once again will get bombarded by calls all week in working hours all to be let down by the end of it.
Fulfords Exeter, Lettings
I rented my house out through Fulfords. Initially it was positive as the house was marketed well. Despite paying a management fee, I at times had to manage the house myself, reminding them to carry out repairs, not having emails replied to, and being charged over the odds by a team who were far too cosy to be professional with their contractors. Fulfords lost sight of the fact that they were engaged by me to manage the property, and also lost sight that it was my house.
I instigated an inspection of the house as it was obviously not being cared for (this was evident from the outside). They suggested getting the tenants out, but for the vacation inspection sent a junior member of the team who took no photos and did no comparison with those taken beforehand. Luckily I took photos which were used in the deposit dispute.
Fulfords changed the management fee and brought in new fees which were compulsory until you voice dissatisfaction.
I am now with an agent who charges 3% less per month, with no additional fees, and no fees added to repairs. The new agent keeps me informed and ensures that they are managing the property. I wish I had moved away from Fulfords years ago (sadly their policy financially penalises quite heavily if you want to leave, and they hold the photos of my house with furniture in, which is good for marketing).
Aggressive controlling staff.Avoid them at all cost.
So finally got our house keys back after we sacked fulfords. Staff and manger were rude, aggressive, controlling about our keys.
We instructed them not to market our house, manager ignored us, kept it on web pages even after we sacked them. We requested our keys back in writing, verbally and via email. Fulfurds refused to hand back our keys.
We had to fight to get our keys to our own property back. We sacked them after the appalling service, lies and dishonesty from staff. It was a terrible experience for us please avoid them. We now have gone with simply green and the difference in staff, respect, straight forward signing stood out.
Highly recommend Simply Green.
Fulfords Newton Abbot - Woeful
I recently offered on a property with Fulfords Newton Abbot and as I was porting a mortgage, the property being chain free and ready to move at pace was really important to me. I was assured of both, but neither were true. I ended up pulling out of the transaction as I couldn't risk losing my mortgage product. I'm currently out of pocket for the search fees - Fulfords will be hearing more about that.
Jason and Joe, whilst very good with the patter, I didn't find to be honest and straight up about things. Promised the earth and didn't deliver. Once I'd signed on the offer form and agreed to use their expensive solicitors, they didn't want to know. Upon reflection, a bit like buying a used car 20 years ago!
Would never use again and would never recommend to anyone else.
