Return is impossible

I ordered a product from Gamma web site. They sent it very late and I wanted to return. They only allow you to return it to a local shop but local shops dont accept any product which are not on their shelves. So never order anything from them before checking if the local Gamma sells it.

They do NOT honor their own policies

They do NOT honor their own policies. I purchased a license that was tied to my work account (I paid for it myself). Company went bankrupt and Airlock will not help me port the subscription over to my personal account nor will they refund me for the 10 mos that I am unable to use the app. So - I'm out $100. RUN from this company - they are not honest.

I'm writing to alert others about my terrible experience with Gamma. I cancelled my subscription, but they kept taking money from my account. When I reached out to support, they were unresponsive and unhelpful. Claimed they couldn't find my transaction despite me having proof 😡.

*Don't fall for their tricks!* Be cautious when dealing with Gamma. They seem shady and unwilling to resolve issues.

Same experience as others...Avoid!

Same experience as others--uploading content and the app distorts it, does not show correctly, forces it into some template they prefer that does not work. I am unable to find simple instructions on how to use this, was forced to get it by my boss who thinks it is helpful. Absolutely not for a custom piece, just generated garbage. I do not recommend.

Do not use! I trialled this and have tried to cancel my subscription within the right timeframe and they’re telling me they can’t find my direct debit and so I’ll just have to sort this myself?!

Gamma.app is, without a doubt, the best product I have encountered in this space. It has successfully solved a thousand challenges that previously plagued not just creatives, but also the average entrepreneur and business owner.

Addressing the Technical Noise

I've noticed some recent one-star reviews, which I believe are likely coming from the technical community—developers, theme builders, and digital marketers—who are disappointed with specific API choices or deep customization limitations. For them, a four-star feature might be a one-star disappointment.

However, for the average business owner, leader, or entrepreneur who simply needs quick, polished, and professional-looking presentations and content, Gamma is absolutely a four to five-star product. It focuses on results, not technical complexity.

The Pain Points Eliminated

The core struggle of bringing a vision to life—coordinating multiple vendors, from the JavaScript and PHP developers to the graphic designer, content writer, and editor—is completely eliminated. Before Gamma, content tools like Grammarly were a godsend, but they are nothing compared to the comprehensive solution Gamma provides now. This platform handles everything from content formatting and visual parallax effects to ensuring perfect responsiveness across all hardware, including mobile, tablet, and desktop. The integrations are phenomenal.

I feel like I’m living in Disneyland now. I don't know a line of code, yet I can achieve professional-grade results. Previously, I had to hire multiple specialists for projects that were rarely completed on time and, frankly, failed to meet my satisfaction 9 out of 10 times.

With Gamma, I'm happier with the resulting creation than what I initially envisioned, and I can execute it anytime, 24/7. Gamma’s team has done an amazing job solving these complex problems.

My only constructive suggestion for expansion is to continue building on the flexibility of the design templates. Keep solving these problems—you guys are truly amazing!

I would give zero stars but not…

I would give zero stars but not possible. I am (used to be) a pro member. To get API key requires higher subscription but there is no clear description what they require to be able to use GET and POST. curl provided by AI is a piece of sh.......t. Disappointed and frustrated. Cancelled my whole subscription

Do not give your CC/subscribe to Gamma App!

Do not subscribe to Gamma App!! Do not share your CC number with this dishonest company. They charged my CC card second time without a notice and pre-authorization even after my subscription term expired. Gamma app also does not have an option to delete your CC information. As well, after subscribing I discovered that Gamma app DOES NOT provide any additional capabilities, contrary to what Gamma claims in their pricing. No premium AI , no premium themes, everything remains the same, AI generated images remain the same very basic quality. I only got the extra credits. What good are they if the rest is the same? In my experience, there are deceptive sales practices, no transparency or accountability at Gamma. Just terrible.

Plain lies and no respect to your business

The app idea is good, really promising, but execution and customer support...
I started paid subscription for an ongoing project and chose a theme for a series of presentations. I created 3 presentations and needed 7 more for a course. After a couple of weeks I get back to my project and a theme I was using is no longer available. Can you imagine? You start a project and suddenly you can't keep going because the service you use decided to deactivate a theme you were using. And not only they deleted a theme, all my previously created presentations changed their design to a similar, but not the same theme. And I have my previous files downloaded with my old design.
Okay, I found a way around - created a custom theme from the one I downloaded perviously. BUT the image generation AI is too generic now and it takes hours to generate accurate images for my project. The quality of image generation is very low, by the way.
So I contact support to report a problem - their changes interfere with my business.
I receive a response that yes, the theme was deactivated, try custom generation, which I tried and it's completely unusable.
A week later I still need to continue my project, I get back to Gamma, spend hours trying to design a new presentation, get mad and contact support again.
And receive a response that the theme I was referring to was never there at all.
I have a screenshot of my previous support dialogue, I send it to them.
Their response - there was never such a theme.

Avoid. Just avoid.

The system is unbelievably slow and…

The system is unbelievably slow and confusing, cluttered with unnecessary elements and completely lacking any clear logic or usability. Every action feels overcomplicated and counterintuitive, making even the simplest tasks frustrating. And to make things worse, you actually have to pay for the logo with a Pro plan — absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for such a poorly designed platform. There's no subfolder but only folder!

I have just waisted an hour of my life

I have just waisted an hour of my life. This app does not understand the most simple edits. I have 3 cards and chose A4 as the format. It cuts parts off when exporting as pdf so I tell it to adjust the number of cards so that everything fits well into the A4 format. Not only is the app not able to do it, it also changes the entire layout and adds parts and text I did not ask for.

Impossible to translate the initial Gamma output, once downloaded

It's very annoying when you've already spent a lot of time to improve the PPT based on the initial Gamma output and you just want to translate it. It's a very simple thing but impossible to do - even with a paid account! Once a Gamma is created and downloaded, it's impossible to upload it again and just translate it in another language! It's a pity, because I was planning to order accounts for the school where I work - however with these poor features, I reconsidered.

Unacceptable pricing changes made by Gamma

I am a pro subscriber of Gamma AI. I subscribed for the annual plan. When I subscribed it provided unlimited creation and unlimited editing options. It also provided the access to latest image generation models. It also had a useful feature 'chat with AI' by which we can edit our presentation with the help of AI. There was no cap on the usage limits.

Recently from 01-Oct-2025, Gamma has released Gamma 3.0. They are advertising it as a totally revamped experience and saying that they have introduced an AI agent.

In my view they are making fool of people. AI agent is nothing but the old chat with AI feature. They have launched Gamma 3.0 to cut the unlimited editing provided earlier, and now they have made most of the things chargeable based on credits usage.

Now when you edit your presentation for each edit you will be charged credits. We all know that AI mostly does not give first time right. So they provide unlimited generations but charge you for edits now.

Earlier they provided access for latest image generation models in pro plan, now they have made another slab called 'Ultra' and shifted the latest models to that slab and made that slab chargeable based on credits usage.

When I subscribed they showed me something else and now in between they changed the terms significantly. This speaks poorly about the company.

When I wrote this to the customer care, then in their first response the customer service person tried to evade the question on unlimited edits removed. Then when I pressed more, then he replied they have made it chargeable.

On my subsequent highlighting the concern I am having , he simply sent the feedback form which I can submit.

It also shows poorly about the quality of customer service.

This kind of response shows that Gamma knows that they have done something wrong, to earn more money out of customers and are now trying to hide it.

Decent product, horrible company.

Cannot reset a password, cannot change a user. 2 - 3 days for customer service, then you finally talk to someone, and they just disappear. Their email does not work, you will never receive one from them or their system. Decent product, horrible company.
