Do NOT use this software

Bottom line is: LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT OPTION. The AI algorithm appears to be terrible, and if you have any issues you won't get any customer service. I repeatedly asked for 2 specific pieces within my creation, and the algorithm repeated to do the exact opposite every single time. I reworded my ask at least 12 times and every single time it continued to disregard what I wrote and did it's own thing. Then, I was told that to get customer service, I need to pay for the software. I won't pay for poorly written software, and I absolutely won't pay when no one is willing to try to help.

Breach of contract after 2 days of usage

SCAM! Paid for Pro Plan on 14th September. Pricing page showed clearly 60 slides, screenshot proof. In the 16th, over night, I was downgraded to 50 slides. It sis not even take them 2 days to break a valid, paid, contract. TWO DAYS!!!!! HOW CAN THIS BE LEGAL??? To make matters worse, thousand of users where downgraded without communication, without opt out option, NOTHING! It's the most fraudulent company I worked with in the last years. Hope someone sues them with the same passion they scammed us.

**SCAM ALERT - Breach of Contract Mid-Subscription**

What they did:
I paid upfront for an annual Pro subscription ($180) specifically for 60 cards per prompt and unlimited custom domains until March 2026. Mid-contract, Gamma secretly downgraded me to 50 cards and limited domains WITHOUT any notification, cancellation option, or refund. They even had the audacity to call these downgrades "upgrades" in their changelog.

Additionally, they increased prices on my monthly subscription from $20 to $24 with ZERO advance notice - completely illegal.

This is systematic fraud affecting thousands of customers who paid for specific features that were then reduced without consent.

I was really excited when I first…

I was really excited when I first started using Gamma — I got the most amazing presentations with great designs. But after I paid, everything changed. Suddenly, I only had access to plain black-and-white images, and the quality dropped completely. To make things worse, I haven’t been able to get any response from their support team or find a clear way to file a complaint. It feels very misleading, and I’m extremely disappointed after trusting the service.

Beautiful websites, but slow support

I've updated my review from 2 stars to 4 stars as customer support finally got back to me. They are experiencing a glitch with their custom domain feature and are working to get it up and running again. Feeling like I was being ghosted by support led me into a bit of a spiral. We are good now.

Previous review:
I recently launched a site on Gamma and pointed my domain as instructed. It’s now been over 3 days (72+ hours) and my domain is still stuck in verification. From past experience with previous sites launched on their platform, this process normally takes just a few hours, so the delay has been frustrating.

I reached out to support and it took about two days for them to confirm the issue was on their end. Their response was:

“I’ve escalated your issue to our engineering team, and while we don’t have an exact ETR just yet, rest assured that I’ll keep a close eye on this for you. I’ll reach out through this chat as soon as there are any updates, and you’ll also receive notifications via email.”

While I appreciate that the issue was escalated, I wasn’t given any timeframe just a general assurance that it’s being looked into. Support replies also tend to take hours, and sometimes they pause mid-conversation for long periods without letting me know, which adds to the uncertainty.

That being said, Gamma does make exquisite brochure-style websites. The design and presentation are really impressive. If they can improve support response times and provide clearer timelines for fixes, I think it could be a great platform to rely on.

Downgrades Professional Slides and Ignores Templates

The Gamma app completely disregards any template I upload, even when I explicitly ask it to preserve the format. It repeatedly uses the same limited set of graphics over and over, regardless of the original design.

When I reach out for help, the customer service team is polite but provides no real solutions. I have uploaded carefully designed, professional slides in hopes of upgrading them, only to receive results that are a massive downgrade—visually cluttered, poorly formatted, and unusable.

In my experience, this tool is essentially useless for anyone with existing PowerPoint skills. At best, it might be suitable for users with no presentation design experience at all, but it certainly does not enhance professionally prepared materials.

Poor customer service and product not working as advertised


I've been a loyal subscriber to Gamma.ai for months, paying my subscription fee religiously even though I rarely used the service. Yesterday, when I finally decided to put it to good use, I was met with nothing but frustration.
After creating 10 presentations, the image generation feature completely stopped working. This is a core functionality that I was paying for, and it simply wasn't delivering as promised.
I spent my entire day in the chat support trying to resolve this issue with a representative named Darling. While they provided some generic advice, they were completely unable to fix my problem. The lack of technical expertise and unwillingness to escalate or provide a real solution was disappointing.
What frustrates me most is that Gamma.ai has no problem automatically charging my credit card every month, but when it comes to delivering the service I'm paying for, they fall short. The disconnect between their billing efficiency and their customer service quality is astounding.
For a service that markets itself as an AI-powered presentation tool, failing to generate images - one of its key features - is unacceptable. Combined with unhelpful customer support that offers band-aid solutions rather than actual fixes, I'm seriously reconsidering my subscription.
I expect better from a company that's been taking my money for months. Either fix your product or improve your customer service - preferably both.

Great service for building websites and presentations!
Gamma’s platform is genuinely convenient—intuitive visual editor, ready-made templates, and fast publishing. Thanks to it, I launched several projects without hiring outside developers.

I did run into a major snag: it took five days to issue an SSL certificate for my domain. However, the tech team escalated the ticket to S0 and ultimately resolved the problem. Special thanks to the engineers and support staff who saw it through.

One downside—the first response was slow, so I’m giving four stars instead of five. I hope future reactions will be faster. Otherwise, Gamma deserves high marks: rich functionality, user-friendly interface, and reasonable pricing. I recommend it to anyone who wants to launch a site or presentation quickly and beautifully.

Scammy bullshit platfrom!!! I paid for pro and was using it for a few months. I cancelled the subcription. while I went on holiday and just wanted to access my already created presentations to se that they remove them all and I can only access what i have created if continue to pay for a subscription for files i have already created. Truly insane, overpriced bullshit

Terrible

Terrible. Signed up and tried with a paid plan after using it months ago and being disappointed with the results then but was still fairly useless. Asked for a refund on the 7th day of their cancel within 7 days for a refund policy and was told it was too late. Genuine thieves - do not buy.

Can't upload images and logos

The most frustrating part is that there are errors uploading images and logos. There's not much point in creating a document if you can't add this. I've been in touch with customer service and they have tried to help me as much as possible but it's still not working. I think Gamma isn't ready yet personally. These issues need to be solved before you start asking for payment.

Terrible tool

Terrible tool! I wanted to create simple design templates for our company social media profile. It does not understand how to pick the right logos and colors -- even if you feed everything to it. The images it creates are all random, when you provide feedback it just keeps doing more of the wrong stuff. My goal was to offload work and accelerate things. The opposite was the case: you spend so much time and at the end you get garbage. DONT waste your time!

Absolutely Terrible Service. Bordering on negligent!!

I have use support for a condition where when trying to edit the font on a card the app dumps me out of the mode and each time defaults to the first slide. I spent some time with support giving details and screen grabs and recordings. It got to Friday and the support person on supposed 24/7 support declared they were off for a few days but the team will be working on the issue. Four days later and no contact, no resolution and no update. Very very fed up!!!!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I paid for the app, and it was working great, then stopped working, so I reached out to customer service via email and the website chat. The rep told me to log out and back in. I did that, and it still was not working. After explaining to the rep, it's still not working, they went completely silent. I kept checking in, thinking maybe they were working on my account, but the person never responded again! 45 minutes later, I'm still like "Hello, are you there," and just no response. I, unfortunately, will be deleting my account.
