We had a lovely dinner here. The langoustine pasta was especially delicious. The dishes were paired with excellent wine - of which there is a wide choice. The atmosphere is warm and friendly with attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Lovely restaurant with good ambience. Staff were attentive, food was beautiful and the waiter even gave us a lift back to our resort at the end of our meal!! Recommended.

The best meal we have had in Italy. All the food was delicious. We had the trio of starters; the octopus was particularly good. We had the seabass special and some roasted potatoes with rosemary that were to die for. The recommended wine was just right. If only this restaurant wasn't a flight away from home.

While this was our first time in Pompeii we’ve eaten at restaurants all across Italy, and Garum was one of the best meals of my life! We went for my partner’s birthday and the meal was so delicious, the service so fantastic, and the ambiance so wonderful, that we will be sure to visit Pompeii much more in the future just to eat at Garum again.

When asked where to dine in Pompeii, Antonio immediately suggested that Garum was the place to go for delicious seafood and fine wines. The dinner was delicious, both delicate and compelling. The faggottino was light yet very flavorful, paccheri al ragu was rich and the grilled was a delight. But the greatest joy is the staff who are both talented and passionate and truly make the delicious meal a true experience. Our special thanks to the head waiter who both expertly fileted our fish but also shared local culture and tradition and made us feel welcome.

Giovanni and his team treated my son Alex and I to one of the best restaurant experiences of my life, certainly in Italy! We had a surprise starter with the bread , and then a triple sharers plate of three exquisite fish creations which were really delicious. Then Alex had a tasty pepper beefsteak. Giovanni then presented me with a beautiful local sea bream baked in lemon with roasted endive and pumpkin. The combination of flavour was complemented excellently by a local white wine. We just managed to squeeze in the really tasty baba for desert. And all at a very reasonable price of around €75 per person. Thank you Giovanni!

We were recommended this restaurant by our Pompei travel guide who told us it was her favourite. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent! It is also a wine shop so has an extensive wine selection.
