Got a quote from them, changed our plans and told them on the phone we would not be proceeding with a booking. For the past month I have been harrassed by calls and empty voicemails as the number is now blocked. After 2 voicemails left already by 1435 in one day I am leaving this review.

I would quite happily give them a MINUS star review if it was allowed.
We are a dive club and were doing a dive cruise from Ullapool in Scotland along the coast to Oban. We needed a bus in Scotland to pick us up from Oban and take us up to Ullapool.
They took our booking months in advance, paid in full and then 5 DAYS before the trip they told us they couldn't do the trip.
It cost us 4 times the original price to get a bus due to the short notice.
They have ignored all calls, we have had emails saying they will refund but received nothing

SCAM COMPANY!

This is a sam company do not book!
They left us stranded in Skegness on our return trip. Ripped us off for over £1000 and vanished into fin air refusing to reply or refund us.
Driver was also super unprofessional refusing to allow us for breaks even though we were paying for the service and overall wasn't good on the road.

This company should be cancelled on any website.

This company took money from a large group of us, then left us stranded on the return journey, in a car park in Skegness. This was an extremely distressing experience which incurred a lot of additional costs to resolve, and there had been no resolution or refund offered to us by the company, despite having been contacted multiple times.

I was among the many people who were let down badly by this company when we were left stranded in Skegness in October 2024. From looking at other reviews this does not appear to be an isolated incident and I would urge others to avoid this company.

Really awful company! They abandoned us hundreds of miles away from home and stole thousands of pounds. The whole ordeal was very traumatic. It’s a total scam

Scammers. Double charged us and never showed for the return trip

A terrible experience. GB Coaches left me and large group of people waiting in a car park, stranded, hundreds of miles from home, having taken thousands of pounds from us for the job. We were forced to take expensive public transport, some of us spent money on hotels, and there has been no apology, no mention of any reimbursement, and they are ignoring any attempt by us to tackle the situation. They are actively ignoring the responsibility, and the huge amount of stress it caused is continuing. Do not use this company.

I'd like to add that it seems they are now trying to get these very valuable and honest reviews taken down from Trust Pilot. Sadly they are all a very true reflection of what we went through.

Great service on time and good communication

Awful company, do not use.
Caused lots of stress and left many people stranded after an event.
I was only due to be returning home on the hired coach and after paying to be added to the booking the night before it was due to collect us, the money for the additional booking was taking even though they never intended to pick us up.
We waited in a car park for hours before having to get a bus to the closest train station and then hours and multiple trains home.
This cost us extra bus and train fairs and some of the group members had to book in to hotels at additional cost and travel the following day.
SCAM COMPANY DO NOT USE.

Performed first half of journey fine, then left me and everyone else on my coach stranded with minimal communication and no means of getting home.
Called us another coach company but then didn’t pass on the money we originally paid, so had to pay again. GB coach hire just pocketed thousands and refuse to get back to us.
Do not trust.

Terrible company - avoid them at all costs. Took our money and didn't turn up for the return journey. They've refused to pay back any money and cost our group thousands of pounds in alternative travel costs.

If you value your money and your peace of mind, avoid GB Coach Hire at all costs. This company left about 40 of us completely stranded in Skegness after Bangface, with no way home and no refund in sight.

We paid upfront for a return trip from Brighton, but when it was time to come back, the driver didn’t turn up. It turned out that GB Coach Hire had subcontracted another company (Olympia) and failed to pay them, so Olympia refused to pick us up. We even tried to pay Olympia ourselves, but the payment got “recalled” somehow, and the driver ended up going home.

We had to make our own way back, paying for trains and even accommodation for those who couldn’t travel the same day. It cost us a fortune, and it’s been a total nightmare trying to get the money back. The owner of GB Coach Hire has apparently moved to Dubai and seems to have no intention of refunding anyone.

Despite taking them to small claims court and winning the case, we still haven’t received any money. The company did not show up to the court hearing, and we’re now stuck trying to get some form of compensation.

This company is completely unreliable. They take your money, then disappear when it comes to fulfilling their contract. Even if you manage to get to your destination, don’t count on them bringing you back. Save yourself the hassle and book with a reputable company instead.

Shit is an understatement. The organisation of our bus journey was a nightmare for the organisers of this journey from Brighton to Skegness and back,finally sorted it. Arrived at our destination had the best weekend with the best people then to be told the bus would be late so we waited for couple hours in a carpet to be told no one was coming and that we would have to fork out more money for them to come. They still never came leaving us all stranded with loads of luggage!! Luckily because we are all nice people we manged to help each other out with train journeys,seats with other people from the festival.Scammers alert!!!!! Useless company my advice just don't do it.🤬

GB must stand for Greedy Bastards coz they double charged us and left us stranded in skegness after a music event and haven't even tried to pay any of the money back!!! Avoid this sh*tshow of a company!!!

SCAM COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We paid in full for a return journey from Brighton to Skegness. On the return journey, the driver didn't turn up saying that we had not paid enough. After aggressively bullying more money from us, he still refused to turn up and dozens of us were left stranded hours away from home. I had to stay in a hotel and then spend more money getting trains home, as did the rest of us, after already paying more. Some of us had to lose income as we couldn't get to work or fork out for dogsitters and babysitters, as well as it being a huge source of stress generally. Since then it's been like trying to get blood out of a stone getting them to even talk to us, let alone get our money back. Absolutely dogsh*te excuse for a company.

Even the one coach that did turn up on the outward journey wasn't even fully functional as it had no working toilet for a 6-8hour journey, meaning we were delayed as we had to make more stops than we would have. Absolute joke. Do not give this company your money.

Absolutely terrible company, they left us stranded at a festival even though we had paid them in full, they had not paid the company they subcontracted to and have refunded none of the money leaving a group of about 40 of us out over £2000. This caused undue stress and led to loads of us having to get trains and even some booking hotels - do not use this company!

This company (I think just a one man grift) acted as a middle man ordering us a coach from another company to take us from Brighton to Skegness for a Weekender. We paid the full amount up front which was thousands of pounds, then the coach never came to retrieve us. The company that drove the coach up said they couldn't come to collect us as they had re received any money at all from Gbcoachhire, which we booked through.
Gbcoachuire then went off the rader, stealing our money, not paying the coach company for the first trip up and leaving around 40 people stranded hundreds of miles from home, also then having to arrange trains back etc all at extra cost, right after being defrauded. whole thing was a nightmare. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM

GB Coach Hire cancelled our return coach journey without making alternate arrangements for us and more importantly, without providing a refund (to the sum of around £1700). They are extremely unprofessional and most likely a scam company - please avoid at all costs.

Do not use. They took us from Brighton to Skegness but didn't turn up for the return journey that we'd booked and paid for. They left us stranded, avoided calls and 5 months later still have not refunded anyone. Also the driver drove like a maniac, way too fast round corners, and on the second half of the journey went for over two hours with no break meaning some people literally had to resort to weeing in a bottle. Total cowboys.
