The team were reliable, arrived on time, friendly, very well equipped, efficient and the job was done to a very high standard.

The team installed 6 cottage style doors and I am delighted with the finish as the doors and handles are of a really high quality and made such a difference to my home.

The guys were also very considerate of my two dogs and cleaned up after themselves with their own hoover!

We contacted GCA Joinery about converting our garage to a living space with an en suite after reading very favourable reviews. We were impressed by Greg's professionalism, clear scheduling and competitive pricing and we were happy to award GCA the contract. The works were completed on time (November 2024) on budget and to a high standard.

We then had no hesitation in asking Greg to schedule the refurbishment of our family bathroom and the en suite to our main bedroom. Again the works were completed on time (June 2025) on budget and to a high standard.

We have no hesitation in recommending GCA Joinery for similar works.

We asked GCA (Greg) and thr team to consult and quote amongst 4 other contractors - the quote was meticulous and all areas covered from start to finish - the other contractors did not even come close to the admin we received.
The planning process for project start date and material delivery was like a military operation and took place without the slightest inconvenience to our family - Greg and the team met every delivery and ensured minimum disruption to the family and the neighbours - as well as securing everything they even brought their own toilet facilities.
The project from demolishing a free standing garage to the last fitting being installed including fitting a full kitchen, electrical, plumbing, roughcasting, joiners, brickwork, glazers on a 2 storey extension was completed; all the while the team taking into consideration our children with support needs was the best and most professional service I can remember. Passers by - Neighbours and friends all asking for the teams details became a regular occurrence. The project started in october and was completed well before Christmas in 2024. I cannot speak highly enough of the work ethic of Greg and the team every day even checking in during bad weather at weekends when they were not due to be there - but in saying that there was rarely a day the team was not there anyway. We will use the team again and recommend them without doubt to anyone !!! Our house is now a home we can be proud of and to be honest we still cant believe it is done and how good it is!

Greg and his team and were fantastic. All work carried out was to an exceptional standard and we were always kept informed as to how the work was progressing and what the next steps were. We put a lot of trust in Greg and his company to take care of our home whilst carrying out the work and this was not misplaced. I could not recommend GCA enough and any work we will be looking to undertake in the future we would be looking to use them again.
We had a single storey kitchen extension requiring a load bearing wall to be removed and in the original kitchen space a utility room and shower room installed.

Highly recommend Greg and all the team at GCA , they completed a garage conversion for me and I am delighted with the completed work. From the initial enquiry , Greg’s communication has been great, ensuring all trades linked with each other and all work was completed within the estimated timeframe. Would I use them again absolutely and I am.

Had a media wall installed that consisted of a frame installation, television mounting, fire installation, cupboards installed, and shelving built.

Communication was quick and professional, including the quotation.

The team arrived when they had advised they would and were tidy and professional.

The work carried out is to an exceptionally high standard with particular attention to detail.

We thought it might be difficult to get quotes for a rather small extension but Greg responded very quickly and gave us a very reasonable price. His customer care was excellent and gave us a lot of confidence. His team was very well organised; all the guys coming into the house were hard-working and courteous and the extension was completed very quickly. The finishes were to a high standard. We would employ GCA again and would certainly recommend them.

We highly recommend Greg and his team, we had a dormer installed to create a shower room and study room. Me and my partner were highly impressed with how fast they were able to work to a high standard and make everything watertight especially starting the job mid September. All the staff were not only friendly but also highly skilled. The attention to detail is second to none and Greg also assisted us with a few extra jobs we needed done. On top of this the price was the most competitive from all the quotes we had and delivered to high standards.

The team also made it easy for me to continue to work from home which was a big deal for me, making the whole process stress-free for me and my family.

Would like to thank Greg and his team for an amazing transformation of our house.
We had a really small kitchen and separate dining room which blocked all the light to the living room.
We now have a large bright open plan space with a fab kitchen with island.
Greg put us in touch with a structural engineer and architect to get the building warrant.
Work began on schedule and Greg arranged skips and all other trades, all were super friendly and professional.
Our outdated bathroom was next and again Greg and his team and all the other trades had it done in no time.
We are delighted with both the bathroom and the open plan kitchen/living room.

I can’t recommend Greg and the team highly enough. They’ve recently took a supporting wall down downstairs to create an open kitchen/dining/living space and divided a bedroom in two to create two bedrooms with a new window being put in.

The workmanship is fantastic, completed quickly and efficiently, the team arrived when they said they would everyday and completed the job to an exemplary standard. Every small detail was checked with us before the work was carried out. They’ll be back for a kitchen re-fit next year.

I have no hesitation at all recommending Greg and the team to anyone looking for some building work to be done.

We got a front porch extension completed and found GCA to be very professional and courteous. Overall we are delighted with quality of the work conducted by Greg and his team. I would recommend.

We contacted Greg at GCA for a quote after reading positive reviews on TrustedTrader. We had an unusual project planned for some time and were looking forward to having it complete. After an initial visit we were provided with a quote and decided to go ahead. We were given a date for the work to start which meant I could arrange time off work in advance. The the project commenced quickly with all trades supplied at the correct stage of the build. All tradesmen knew each other and worked well together. We had part of our front hall/porch turned into a fourth bedroom, a full new staircase installed, under stair cupboard and laminate flooring laid throughout the downstairs.
We are extremely happy with the final outcome, it's exactly what we were looking for and done to the architects drawings. The room is really warm due to the amount of insulation and with it being south facing. Our son is delighted with his new room. We would be happy to use GCA again in the future, highly recommended.

Had the team in for getting our kitchen done and was very impressed with the finished article looks great, done in a great time as well with a group of very friendly guys always willing to help and explain things if I had any questions

Greg and the team done a fantastic job knocking down a supporting wall and extending our kitchen into the dining room. The work was efficient, professional with minimal mess. Finished just in time for Xmas with the family. Will not hesitate to use again in future for other projects. Highly recommend!!

We hired GCA to build a rear extension, carry out internal alterations, new windows, new bathroom and creating an en-suite , kitchen fitting and flooring.

With the work complete, we can’t recommend Greg and his team highly enough. Very professional, friendly, communication was great from the start and all work was carried out to a high standard.

The team were onsite every day and Greg managed electricians, plumbers, brickies and plasterers who were all great too.
