Scammer,rip off, thiefs and criminals

I submitted a Xbox gift card for a cash offer. They said they would email me within a few hours with results of verification. I got nothing checked all area's that they said email may be and more, nothing came in. I have receipt of my purchase. So I know the $100 was on it. So I checked card balance and they said the pin was already used meaning card was cashed in.. I got nothing, they got every dollar. I emailed customer service, and no response. So I filled out form for refund and still nothing. So know that if you submit a card that you shouldn't expect anything for it. Just don't use this company. I have talked to several agencies about a class action civil suit and a combined felony criminal charge. Once I receive all the information on these suits I will post email address to contact and report your losses. Thank you

I was just scammed by GCMAXUP

I should have read the reviews myself they took the $50 off the card Friday and I never got paid! They need to be shutdown and charged for online scamming! I'm reporting the card stolen to Walmart, idk if they will return the money but it's worth a shot. Edit 5/10/2025 as with everyone else I wasn't able to get in contact with anyone from that fraudulent GCMAXUP but I recommend filing a report with the federal trade commission and the FBIs online fraudulent activity page which I did, the information on the GCMAXUP has it listed out of NYC but I doubt that any of the information is accurate, if anyone makes any progress with bringing these scumbags to justice post a update to this message board!

Untrustworthy Site

As many others have mentioned, I too got scammed. Tried selling a $50 gift card and now the balance is at $0 and no payment received. I found some info on this company: owner: William James from the US possible phone number: 213-599-7448 but it rings once then goes to voicemail and according to the website: gcmaxup.com they are located out of NY. The sad thing is people looking to sell an unwanted gift card usually need the money so these scammers are taking from those in need: AKA the poor. Very shameful.

They are a ripp off

They are a ripp off. The same thing is happening to me. It's been almost two weeks and I still haven't received my money yet. Same exact thing that the guy before me and the one before that said.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE - FRAUD

Wow! I wish These reviews were there when I sold my Sephora card! On February 15, 2025 I attempted to sell my gift card to GCMAXUP because I need the extra money to make ends meet, they have yet to pay or say why they have not. There is no phone number only an email and no one has responded in over 7 emails (only A form Letter stating they are in the verification process and notify me within 6 hours). This letter also included that they take fraud very seriously and to join the GC MAX community, which is nonexistent and I don’t know how to report them to the federal trade commission or I would. Do not use this site.
