I was originally looking for Opals but then realized they have an entire gemstone website. I placed some bids on an item from a seller to see what the process was like. Everything went very smoothly and I am now the owner of a green Aventurine that I got for a steal.
Now onto a bigger purchase!

So pathetic website. don't even understand the problem of the seller. It's the 2nd time that they have suspended us. even ebay and etsy are good.

I must say that I am lucky to have found gemrock and the only trusted site to buy gems is StarRuby. I bought beautiful genuine emeralds from them and very pleased. Harshil is very kind and helpful. He walked me through the whole process of buying a gem. Thank you so much

This site seems to have stopped allowing buyers to read the feeback and reviews of seller that were left by other buyers. They use to, and it's important part of building trust. I have bought, and tried to buy many gems on this site. Some great experiences, and some horrible ones too. So without the ability to see what other buyers are saying about a seller I will no longer use this site.

This site is frequented by gem lovers. Sellers are really good and I believe to be well screened by gemrockauctions. It is a pity all sellers do not agree to the same payment terms. I'd like to have a few days to pay in order to benefit from combined postage.

I spend more time at GRA than any other online auctions, I love the fact that so many bargains can be made with your company, whether that be opals, rough,gemstones, jewelery, coins,Minerals, rare rocks, the variety is amazing, the sellers are very quick to reply to any of my concerns, I love the gemstone audit sheriffs who can verify if something is to good to be true. Only regret I have is that I wish I found you Guy's earlier, On a good note; my mother has stopped watching Tictok videos, & goes to Gem Rock Auctions instead, Lots of love, please keep up the great work, yours faithfully Omar.S. I bought an emerald, paid by Paypal, with delivery in 7 days. After 14 days, the seller still did not send my stone, and when I asked for help from the support, he offered several times: communicate directly with the seller.

Great product. Genuine Stones. Easy to use website for auction or buy it now.

What a great site to find just about anything you can imagine. Vendors are awesome and reliable and I take comfort in all my purchases.

The internet platform offers a great service, to find and buy nearly all types of gemstones on the planet and for reasonable prices.
There're also sellers and buyers from all over the world. Buying via internet isn't always the safest thing to do but on GemRockauctions if you didn't come to an agreement with the seller you can contact the website staff and they're really quick and straight to the point with help. The payment methods are safe and I haven't had any problems to the day. Big thumbs up for this Australian enterprise.

Update: the order arrived early and the gems are lovely, shoutout to vietgems for fine service and amazing product. The miscommunication could have been avoided but the fact is apart from that gemrock auctions proved solid and reliable.

After watching for months I finally plunged in and made an order. However, they charged 4% to exchange my funds for usd. I let them know I would be leaving the site and why as a courtesy. I get an email back saying 'fine, I will delete your account' . Either can't read or is a punitive jerk (not the word i want to use). Steer clear.

Response to seller: I said very clearly that I would delete the account myself once my order arrived. Why would I want to delete my account before my order arrived? I can't track it now!
As for the four percent why do you think I contacted you? Gee, maybe to have a conversation about it? Use your talking words next time before you start deleting

I love the no reserve! I've won several items, but have not yet received any simply because of distance and time. I'm looking forward to my purchases. So far all the vendors have been courteous, and pleasant.

I have 12 gemstones from Gemrock,all synthetic or poor quality.Just had them tested by gemologists at Metal Urges
A complete scam.I hope my lose can serve as a warning to others.

Super fun auctions. While there are a lot of cheaper stones on the auction site, if you spend the time to filter down you can find amazing stones. I bid on some Sapphires for a new project and they all looked better than the photos and I got them cheap.

I was shopping for an Australian Sapphire and reached out to a few of the sellers who were very helpful.
I took my stone to my local Jeweler and he said it was once of the nicest he had ever seen. Super happy with the experience and the communication.

So far I am happy with the experience of using this platform. I bought many nice and cheep stuff that probed to be genuine. I did have some issues with some sellers but managed to resolve them.

I can't believe there are so many bad reviews. I find this website great, but you still have to do your homework. It is a marketplace so you are buying off different people from all over the world.
Everything I have received has been great, even the cheap stuff for a few bucks.
