Delivery failed

Delivery scheduled to arrive in the morning. I checked the tracker, and it stated 'failed delivery'.

When contacted, customer service told me their driver called in sick. Looking at the other reviews on here, I find this unlikely. My impression is they struggle to deliver on time.

They told me they would deliver at some point over the next week. Really unhelpful and not respectful of my time.

I had to ask a few times for a refund. The first time they ignored me, when I pressed they agreed but this will take over a week to be processed.

Seem like a very disorganised company. Don't think they have any standards or care about customers.

Literally just delivered

Literally just delivered. 5 star. Can't fault 'em. Rang up beforehand, gave me all the details and estimated delivery. Tracking number came through day before. Delivery bloke gave me a lift cause I've done my shoulder. Good communication and the tracker is a god send

Absolutely disgusting service!

Absolutely disgusting service!! Got an email to say failed attempt delivery when no one even came!! The driver took a photo of my entry door at bottom of flats and left without even calling my door number!! I called within 2 minutes of receiving failed delivery attempt to be told the driver is now out the area and can’t deliver and delivery won’t be until the following week!! I explained I took time off work to be here to receive the item and I now how no more annual leave so my 75 year old nan will be in property alone so can the driver ensure he brings it up (in the lift) to second floor .. but was told they don’t do that and that my nan should ask neighbours in the block for help… it’s absolutely disgusting. What a disgraceful company wish I read the reviews before purchasing avoid this company at all costs. Customer service is dreadful aswell would not waste my time and money

If I could leave a 0 I would

If I could leave a 0 I would. Spent£900+ with this company who told me my delivery would be free because id spent so much on the email when I ordered. Delivery would be 2-5 working days as standard and they would to give me a day time etc. They text on the momday to say the carpets would be delivered the following wednesday and if I couldnt do this to call before 5pm. I called straight back to ask for friday, and they tried to get me to pay an extra £15 saying Id chosen 2-5 working days and it could be any of these days so I should have taken this into account. I advised it was standard free delivery and I didnt choose this option and id given 2 days for them to sort this (the carpet hadn't been cut or loaded at this point) Anyway i was told delivery today at 1000. Cleared 3 rooms out, carpets up, nails exposed. Carpet fitter waiting to bring carpets in and fit them. An hour later I call to see where they are and apparently the van broke down near where I was an hour ago. I ask if my carpet fitter can collect the carpets from the van that broke down as he has a van and has been paid for the day and they say that the broken down van that was waiting for a tow is already 70miles away again now... In an hour, after waiting for a tow. They offered to redeliver a week later. Or told me to get a refund which would take 3-5 working days. I said id look for other carpets and get back to them. I ordered new carpets and called back for the refund and was told they would notify my by email once complete. No email received re refund. So I call them, they offer to redeliver not in a week now but on the following tuesday (4 days away) and advise they will refund £100 back if I agree. I advised I had ordered other carpets now. They part refunded, apparently they got the amount I payed wrong and I had to request the rest back. What a load of rubbish - avoid at all costs.. These guys are clowns.

Horrible service

Paid £20 for delivery,and delivery guy didn't helped my girlfriend to take parcel to the doors. Item was heavy,and she was struggling to take inside. 0 stars!!!!

I would not even give this company one…

I would not even give this company one star. Awful service and communication. Cancelled deliveries. I’ve waited in 2 days for the order to not get delivered and when I complained they said it was automated messages. Would avoid at all cost

Really bad company.

Really bad company.
Waited for my order only to be told 'lorry has broken down'.

Redelivery not for a further 3 days, so my customer was let down. Did they care...did they heck! "Shouldn't have arranged fitter"...what for the day after you agreed to deliver? I run a reputable company, so unlike them I care about customer satisfaction and don't like to let people down. Made out to be my fault in some way that they couldn't get the goods to me the next day.

Disgusting

Took day off work paid to have carpet fitter and hired help.to empty living room. For delivery today. 1 hour before delivery time slot gets email cancelled delivery asking g me to wait another week. Diabolical and sent from.a no reply email.address seems the norm for this company looking at past reviews

Emails need to specify that help is…

Emails need to specify that help is definitely required by the person receiving the delivery. The current wording is MAY require assistance on certain circumstances, they know they will definitely require help this should be specified.

Terrible Customer Service

Absolutely diabolical. Asked to wait in all week, Then informed they would deliver artificial grass today between 7 and 9am.
Then they cancelled this morning via e.mail.
They were quick enough to take payment.
Tried to ring them numerous times with out success. E.mailed them with a response, without any acknowledgement.
This Company should not be allowed to trade.
I wouldn't give them any stars.

Absolutely brilliant service today

Absolutely brilliant service today! Was kept informed all the way through to delivery. Lovely young man bought the 13x16ft carpet single handed in to my hallway for me and was very pleasant! An easy 5* from me. Thankyou

Not nice at all .I live in 2nd floor…

Not nice at all .I live in 2nd floor flat ,I've got arthritis in both ankles like I explained by email to this company ,I had infusion in one foot but still not able to carry a full carpet up , before I sent the email there was no mention of dumping it outside on the kirb or in the bottom of my entry . Wheres common decency these days .the driver stood in the carpark leaning against his van smoking away not bothered eventually drove away .I contacted the company .so unless you're getting it laid by the same company as you purchased of there no going to bring it to youre door and who cares about youre disability as far as I make out lazy people

If it seems to good to be true it is - TOTALLY UNRELIABLE

Found my carpet - called to check stock - paid extra for the express delivery. Took the afternoon off to wait for delivery and the following day for the fitter.
Guess what ? NO delivery. despite live tracker saying it was en-route.
Called and was met with passive aggressive and extraordinarily patronising gentleman, who said that the driver was unable to deliver because of snow on two roads 80 miles away. The driver apparently abandoned delivery!!!
Better - Re delivery would be another 6- 7 days - but no guarantee...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - TOTALLY UNRELIABLE

I can already tell this company is…

I can already tell this company is diabolical. Expecting the customer to make sure someone is there to help the driver and that someone should be there for 2 days and no real time frame to deliver. You get an email saying we be delivered wed 9.28 to 12.28 with tracking info etc and hear nothing. I'm a tradesman and needed this by wed so worn be using this company again, like really expecting the customer to help off load and staying in for 2 days when you decide you can deliver it. If I had known this before I would not have ordered it's a joke really.

Incompetence at its finest!

Delivery notification stating that nobody was home for delivery 7am after specifically taking a day off work. Absolutely no attempt at delivery was made, unless they tried delivering to a completely different location.. No phone calls just an email. Called customer service to be met with an horrendous attitude from a lady who clearly doesn’t give a crap about customers or, her job. No attempt at offering a discount or even apology. Simply told a re-delivery will take place in 2-3 days with a ETA being sent the day before!

This company also operates under the name Online Carpets presumably because they ran Generation Flooring into the ground!

We strongly suspect this is a scam company that takes your cash , promises delivery times and dates and then comes up with excuses using different email addresses.

AVOID!!

AVOID!!!
Terrible service received today. Van driver didn't even knock on the door or ring the doorbell. Then we got message to say failed delivery!! Poor service from customer services also. Will not be buying any more flooring from this company as its now going to be tues/weds next week for delivery!! Iam due to have a baby in the next week and was counting on these floors to be laid in time for our new arrival. Wasn't a cheap order either, so expected better service to be honest. Oh well, we will go else where in future for flooring.
Partner took the day off work also to be here for the delivery as I can't lift anything, so also a days wages down.
Wish I had looked at the reviews on here first before ordering as It looks like regular problem for many customers.

Customer service then demanded my 3 word address while saying they couldn't redeliver til next week ! Today is Wednesday.
As would be expected driver had full GPS for postcode and mobile phone...... didn't use either . A whole day of my time wasted..... and no redelivery " til next week " . Appalling.
