Please avoid this company — both their products and customer service are disappointing.

I bought their dishwasher tablets, laundry sheets, and laundry liquid. The dishwasher tablets were especially bad: my dishes came out just as dirty as they went in, even though I rinsed them beforehand. Worse, everything — dishes and dishwasher — was coated in white powder. It took several wash cycles to clean up the mess.

I reached out to customer service within a few days of receiving the order, requesting a refund. I had to email them three times before getting a response. They asked me to try cleaning the filter with baking soda and explained that switching to eco products might take an adjustment. I followed instructions but didn’t want to waste more time and water on a product that clearly didn’t work.

I replied a bit later (I was away), and now they’re refusing the refund because “more than 30 days” have passed — even though I requested it within the time limit. They’re only offering store credit to buy the same ineffective products.

This feels like a deliberate tactic to avoid giving refunds. Unethical, disappointing, and a complete waste of money.

These people will sign you up for a subscription unbeknownst to you. When you try to go online on their website you can't unsubscribe. All your information email just disappears. This is a scam and I hope no one orders these laundry sheets. They don’t even clean well. I simply want to unsubscribe and their website is broken and doesn’t allow you to cancel subscriptions you never signed up for initially. They claim they can’t cancel your subscription on their end. I ordered the laundry sheets after reading the amazing reviews. When the sheets arrived I was disappointed to see that although the advertising claims that you only need half a sheet, for a normal full load, you actually need a whole sheet and for a soiled load you need two whole sheets. This makes it very expensive per load. Especially as you still need to add fabric conditioner.
I tried using one whole sheet in my family wash and the clothes were not clean afterwards. I tried with two whole sheets and the clothes remained stained despite pretreating them. I was not impressed so asked to return them. I was then told that I would need to pay the return postage to the USA before I could get a refund despite the websites promise of free returns.
The attitude of their customer services was unhelpful merely sending me a copy of the small print from somewhere on their website that states about the postage eventhough the main page makes no reference to any conditions applying.
I'm not impressed at all and will never buy from this company again.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had a problem with returning the wrong item and receiving what they ordered. I received dryer sheets after ordering laundry sheets and dishwasher pods and have been charged even after returning the dryer sheets. I'm unable to contact them by phone or email to resolve the issue.

*SCAM* Ordered £80 worth of products and never received them, sent several emails and only responded once asking if address was correct it's a month later now and no products and no refund.

Doesn’t clean cloths

SCAM!!!! I ordered an order that has never been delivered. They send you a link to UPS website that suddenly changes overnight that the order was delivered yesterday. Also, mind you it is two weeks of waiting and checking the tracking every day. I requested a refund and never got it. IT IS A SCAM!!!

DO NOT BUY. They are a scam. I have received products 4x I did not order nor want. I am not on any subscription service. Many attempts to reach company were ignored no resolve. I have placed a complaint with BBB today.
Mail Fraud is sending products on autoship not authorized by customer

Placed an order for laundry sheets and dryer sheets, plus a free bonus pack. I only received the free bonus pack and not what I paid for. I've reached out to the company through email and Instagram and have not received a response. I will be calling my credit card company.

I have contacted customer service TWICE about my order. Sent photos of damage from shipment. Poor packaging and cheap boxes. I have damaged dryer sheet boxes which will lose its freshness and I am not happy they will not respond to emails. Interestingly, they have a 4.96 rating but you have no way to leave a review on their website unless they send you a link. It's obviously skewed. Won't buy from them again.

Poor customer service. I want to return product but ignored. Very strong chemical smell. Chemical ingredients not clean.

The tear offs do NOT completely dissolve. They leave a gooy streak along the side of the barrel.
The discs also do not cometely dissolve .. half the disc is broken up and left in the bin.
Had to re-wash every time. Super disappointing.

I was excited to try Clean People and wish I hadn't bothered! I purchased the clean 'fragranced' detergent sheets which when using leave my clothes unclean, does not remove stains, and does not leave the clothes smelling fresh. In fact they come out smelling of weed. I have two babies and purchased to try a new eco and non toxic option but the product is completely ineffective. I've tried many cleaning and washing products and this is by far the most disappointing. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! After complaining to customer service and showing them proof of our clothes being washed and coming out with stains and food still on them, I was told that this is how their product is! And if I wanted better results I should purchase not one but three more products from Clean People in order to achieve clean results, and they also suggested I buy essential oils to make the clothes smell fresh. They even suggested I wash the clothes twice and double up on the amount of washer sheets, I told them this completely defeats the object of buying an eco product and they thanked me for giving them feedback. As I purchased from overseas by the time they had arrived and I used them I had missed the 30 day return window, which honestly is ridiculous. If you are considering using clean people take this as your sign not to... You would be better off leaving your washing out in the rain to be cleaned! They also block you from leaving bad reviews on their reviews page which explains why there are only good reviews. Absolute SCAM.

Disappointed! Order arrived in good time. Unfortunately the laundry sheets are very poor. My whites were not clean, in fact they looked as if they hadn't been washed at all. My dark wash was was left covered with white residue. Bit of an odd smell too.

I tried several times to leave a review on their website but they obviously only accept or make up 5 star reviews

Suspected scam. Tracking almost 2 weeks after order still showing in US. No response from site on Instagram.

Suspect this is an elaborate scam. They have my money, I have receipt, they refuse to acknowledge my order. They are changing their name too. We need a 'minus stars' option for scabs like these.
