Multiple bad experience with them, amateurs!

Please don’t!

Beware!!! I have tried to cancel my subscription for months and they keep telling me to cancel in my apple subscription, but the problem is it isn’t in my apple subscription. When I tell them that, they just say there is nothing they can do. Having to call your visa to block it is pretty poor!

EPIC IS SUPPORT CHEATING COMPANY, USELESS, HOPELESS, STUPID, WORST SYSTEM in the whole world. No one should subscribe to EPIC, as I lost $63.59 by subscribing to EPIC and wasted hours of my time to make them understand. Till date EPIC is not working for me even after 15 days of my payment.
I am giving POLICE COMPALINT & writing my WORST REVIEW in all social medias.
Please read my story below.

COMPLAINT REPORTED TO EPIC ON September 5, 2023:
My EPIC registration/Login not working from day one. My annual subscription amount of $63.59 is already debited from my credit card ending with 6401. Please solve this issue today or send me full refund today.

How did you create your Epic account (in Apple's iTunes/App Store, in Google's Google Play Store, or on Epic's website)?

I submitted answer to all his questions

EVEN AFTER 15 DAYS James from EPIC support is not able to solve my issue.

Gives me diharria so I do poo poo and it's smelly, so thx for helping me to do the fattest #### on earth!

My wife paid to get the unlimited version of epic books and has not gotten it. We’ve tried sending 4 emails and even screenshots of payment received but still no response from anyone. Epic needs to fix this issue. My wife is trying to help teach kids and can’t because of epic.please fix it or give us our money back.

My 4 year old daughter is a major book worm & totally LOVES the Read to Me option of this app. She would spend all day listening to stories...if her IPad time was that long. However there have been multiple times when the app is down for the entire day from our IPad but won't be down from my Android cell phone. This poses a problem because I typically don't let my children play games on my phone. I then either have to cave letting her use my phone or delete the app/ add over & over trying to get it to work or face the tears waiting throughout the day. IPAD time is very precious in our house so this issue is serious to our lil pre-reader. Also as a parent is there a way to block a particular book from my child's access? We are very happy with it but Please for mercys sake fix the glitches to an otherwise perfect app.

3/13....update. So it's getting closer to perfection: Turns out as a parent you can block certain books from your child's access by clicking the 👁 on the to top panel of kids feed or three dots & hide option in parent feed. Thanks Epic!!

Our son LOVES to read on Epic! We appreciate the educational and fun content, catered to his reading level. There is truly such a wide variety. Encouraging our son to read and having him be excited has never been this easy! He enjoys earning special awards, prizes and being able to watch short videos after completing his daily reading goal.

Son loves it! Which makes me love it! He doesn’t like reading so to find a program he enjoys is a blessing. Definitely recommend. I love the feature that allows parents to send little notes and the parent dash board. I homeschool so I appreciate the reading log that includes dates and time he’s read.

I have tried for months to cancel my subscription, without any response from them. Continuously getting charged, don’t recommend singing up.

All my kids that I homeschool are always excited when it is time to do epic. That makes me as a teacher, parent and grandparent very happy.

I read epic books. By Beverly Caal Bravo. I sometimes read epic books but sometimes forget the books my teacher gives me to read after school.

My kid is a reluctant reader. He’s also in special education, which started mid year. I’m also a teacher - middle and high school. My kid asks to do Epic after school or after dinner. He asks to read. It’s been a game changer.

Disappointed because while my daughter loved it. It wouldn’t work on my sons iPad, even after updating. Stopped loading, wouldn’t read pages, was so disappointed so I cancelled my subscriptions. Not worth it to me at all.

It’s one of the worse apps I’ve used when I TRYED to sign up it keep scrolling down so I could not accept the terms

I don't have any other platform to compare with Epic but I can say this; my daughter has started pronouncing words that she hasn't learned yet. So I can tell the app is helpful.

While the APP is fantastic, my grandkids love it and are reading everything they can find, there is NO customer support for this site. Certainly no phone number to call no one answers the support emails.. so this is the only way to bring this out.. I have a simple issue to resolve but my frustration level with EPIC is at 100.. curious if they will contact me now.

Signed up for an unlimited subscription but it only worked for a few days. We've had problems for over month and support won't respond to emails.
