Their service was very good and communication was excellent.
They don't assist when things go wrong
They shipped my things promptly from London to the US but UPS charged tariff/broker fees £355.83 (for commercial, even though it was relocation and there should not be fees) and I kept contacting GetMyParcel to assist and clarify with them but they would not. I had to pay the fees to get my stuff or else it would be shipped back and you have to wait at least 2 months to dispute fees paid with UPS because of backlog. GetMyParcel isn't answering my emails about this.

Everything was fine until Customs pulled apart the boxes, opened the sweets I was sending, and left them all rattling around. Christmas sweets for the grandkids. At the same time, I realise that this needs to be done, and checks need to happen No one told us they would arrive in a state.

Really impressed with how smoothly everything went. The team answered every question clearly, helped with packing guidance, and handled an address change without any fuss. Tracking updates were frequent, the delivery was faster than expected, and the pricing was very fair. Honestly one of the most reliable shipping experiences I’ve had.

Getmyparcel made the whole process incredibly easy. The booking was quick, pickup was right on time, and every update came through without me having to chase. My boxes arrived exactly as packed, no dents or damage, and the communication throughout was reassuring. It took a huge load off during a stressful move. Will happily use their service again.

Lack of communication
Bag was stopped at customs for holding a “dangerous good” which was stated to be an aerosol, which it wasn’t. This resulted in me having to pay an extra £120. Team required constant follow ups for updates . Bag arrived in a worse condition that when shipped
Do not use so disappointing items damaged
Unfortunately, our boxes arrived in Australia severely damaged on the outside, with the contents inside completely ruined due to being soaked through. We provided photos and videos of the unpacking process as clear evidence of the irreversible damage.
The customer service experience was extremely frustrating — emails were repeatedly passed to UPS, and we were continually asked for information that had already been provided. Communication throughout the complaint process was poor, and despite requesting a phone call to discuss the issue, no one ever contacted us.
Although we had insurance, we’ve been told that no compensation will be provided because our items were preloved and we don’t have receipts for everything. This has been incredibly disappointing, especially after so much back-and-forth with different representatives who kept asking for the same details. Even when we called from the UK, we were promised a callback that never came, and now our emails are being ignored.
Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against using this service. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and meaningless insurance coverage have left us not only out of pocket but also without any resolution. We are appalled by the experience and will not be recommending this company to anyone.

Couldn't Be Happier
My suitcase was delivered to Melbourne Australia from Edinburgh in a week, completely undamaged, the customer service team were really responsive and helpful in getting everything organised, the instructions on how to pack your suitcase for efficiency and to protect the case were really clear, and the delivery driver that picked up the suitcase was great. And crucially, the cost was quite reasonable for shipping a 23kg suitcase as well. Literally nothing to complain about and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I will also be recommending getmyparcel to anyone I know who will be needing to ship large parcels or relocate
