Awesome Host! (SCUM)
The server runs great, and GGHost provides all the necessary tools to run your server how you want, with an easy to navigate interface and access to all config files, task scheduling, etc. I used to bounce between two of the larger hosts, and was never quite happy with the tools they provided, the performance, or their pretty awful support. This time, I decided to give GGHost a try. Never going back! If you’re looking for a host, especially for a SCUM server, this is where it’s at.

Had a basic issue of having timing with the reset of the server every four hours, they were able to set it for us and get it all working quite quickly. Very polite staff.

You asked for it, you are going to get it. The worst customer service ever! Banned, banned for them not doing their job! Kept charging us for service we wanted cancelled, i was nice the first couple of times then we had it out. Result, banned! Sad really because there service was amazing. Your lose. However, your account was permanently suspended due to multiple violations of our Terms of Use — including the repeated creation of accounts under different names, misuse of promotions intended for new customers, and attempts to bypass a prior service restriction.
Previously, we dedicated extensive support time trying to help with a server connection issue, which was ultimately caused by an incorrect password you had entered — not a fault on our end. Despite our efforts, false claims were made about our platform on a public channel.
Regarding your billing claim: While our services do automatically renew, we do not charge customers automatically. All payments are manual and require direct customer action — including logging into the client area and completing payment through PayPal or another gateway.
We also fully refunded the most recent order after identifying that it violated our Terms of Use.
While we regret that the relationship ended this way, we have a responsibility to uphold our policies and protect the integrity of our platform and community.

You contacted us regarding issues caused by third-party mods you had installed on your DayZ server. Our team was actively assisting you in troubleshooting the misconfiguration, which unfortunately stemmed from the mods themselves—something we have limited control over, as they are created and maintained by third parties.
We always try our best to help in these situations, but as noted in our documentation, we recommend only using mods if you’re comfortable configuring them, and consulting official mod resources and communities for deeper support. Due to the sheer number of mods available, it’s not always possible for us to offer detailed help for every one.
Despite this, when you requested a refund, we processed it promptly. We’re sorry we couldn’t meet your expectations, but we genuinely made every effort to assist within our capacity.

I was a bit hesitant
I was a bit hesitant, as I couldn't find many reviews on GG Host. They need more social accounts to represent the company. I tried using a coupon code, (but it did not apply to my game). So I asked a question about it and within minutes got a reply back. I continued with my transaction and they made sure I was the admin of the server. Played Deadside on console with no issues and also able to pull up Admin controls.

Absolutely a 5 star service. I was using gportal and once I found out that they didn't allow loot modifiers I was outraged. When GGHost answered my question they were fast, polite, helpful, and best of all provided information I needed! Best service ever

It took a while to find instructions on…
It took a while to find instructions on how to connect to the server as an admin within the game. I had to use Google to get admin access to the server.
I saw that my SteamID was requested, but no idea why it was needed until I did some searching on Google. A simple message at the time of request would have been very helpful.
I haven’t rented a server in almost a decade, so I haven’t been familiar with the process for a long time.

During the order process, we request your SteamID so that admin access can be set up automatically. However, as you declined to provide your SteamID during the order process, manual configuration was necessary.
