Worst service ever

Worst service ever . They are really good at taking money out of your account. Poor customer service.
Really bad internet or not at all . Signal coverage bad . Barely you can get 4G if you lucky .
Not worth being a customer at all .

Overcharge: pre-paid SIM card at ASDA

I purchased pre-paid SIM card at ASDA and used the activation code provided with the product. I could not activate the card without leaving credit card information. Gifgaf promptly charged my credit card for a month's service and set up an automatic monthly renewal without my permission. I have been trying to get reimbursed for the unauthorized charge by Gifgaf. So far I have tried 5 different times to get reimbursed. Each time a different representative gives me a different answer. Bottom line is they are not honoring the product they are selling. They could simply offer a credit for future use, but they seem ti have no interest in doing the right thing.

Once great service, currently poorly understood issues

ORIGINAL POST: I have been a satified GifGaf customer for several years - good basis service at a reasonable price. Currently I have been experiencing a series of relatively short outages. Hope they get this sorted soon - do not want to have the hassle of changing supplier!
LATER: I seem to remember that some previous apparent outages sorted themelves, but the last, quite long one cleared when I thought to try restarting my phone. No idea if my phone played up, or whether an outage derailed the connection!

Just arrived in Turkey and added £30…

Just arrived in Turkey and added £30 credit into my Giffgaff phone, by the time we got our cases, the £30 credit was wiped out. Contacted Giffgaff and they said that I didn't need to use my phone to use the credit (background apps) they have basically told me that I needed to put more credit on the phone if I wanted to use it whilst in Turkey.
Get an EE sim and add a roaming plan, way cheaper than Giffgaff.

Shocking company avoid at all costs.

Shocking company, still taking money from my bank despite me leaving them 2 months ago and removing all my card and bank details from the Ap. Refunded me last month and promised not to do it again but did it again this month and now bring told no refund if I can't tell them my sim card number which I threw away 2 months ago when I left. Reported to action fraud and OFCOM.
