Worst Customer Service - Could NOT CARE LESS, SCAM
I sent in gift cards back in January; took weeks and many phone calls for them to have finally "receive" my cards. They said they sent a check in the mail but then I never heard anything beyond that. I called repeatedly the last week, told RUDELY - some customer service representative who repeatedly spoke over me and blatantly told me that the allotted amount of time had not gone by to call and be concerned about a lost check, but to call the next Monday (which was yesterday). This morning I called three times. The phone just continued to ring without someone answering. Finally, once I received a rep to speak with, I was met with the same rude behavior as my call last week. Someone who spoke over me and said they would reissue me a check - immediately ran through my phone number and then said to have a nice day before hanging up. Still have not received an email back about a new check being issued. I emailed Customer Service and have not heard back. ABSOLUTELY AVOID USING GIFTCARDRESCUE.COM. They are thrilled to take the gift cards that you send in and sell them to someone else who will use them before you EVER see a dime from them. Worst effing customer service on Earth.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Last time I called in to verify my order and there was this rep named Benjamin, who was very rude to talk with. He would never let you finish your question and would just burst out a random anwer. Since my husband wanted those gift cards, I placed the order under his name even though we shared a joint credit card, and I was told to have him call in. Same thing happened. My husband was being cut off from the line before he can even say anything else.
Then I placed another order after a week or so. Again I was being asked to call in to verify my order. Well ok, because I already expected it. One rep picked up the phone and whispered his name which I didn't even bother to ask again but it did sound like the rep I previously had a bad experience with. After put me on hold, he told me IN A VERY RUDE WAY with a VERY RUDE TONE OF VOICE that "they will ship the order out this time but if there is a name discrepancy next time they won't, ok?" What a way to tell your customer that. By merely giving us an extra 1-2% saving is not enough to cover your bad service.

Gift cards came as ordered: UPDATE
My experience has only been with the physical cards. I've ordered four so far--CVS, Target, Olive Garden, B&N. I've double-checked the amounts online when they arrived and they have been as listed. So far I have used them in the store with no problem.
Update: this company went out of business in July, 2016.

No respond
I purchased ten gift cards from them without any problem until 11th, I received a "Ross dress for less" gift card two weeks ago oon Feb 25, It was Zero balance and was closed by Ross due to fraud. Nobody pick up the phone when I called them, and no respond when i left message on recording or the website, After I post the above review, I received a respond email with return envelop, I mailed the gift card back right way on Mar 14,2016, I received an email from them on April 1, 2016 after I sent an email to inquire the status on returned gift card, That email from them indicated "Your refund request has been received as of 4/1/2016. Please allow 7-14 business days for your refund to be updated." Today is April 22, 2016, I have not receive any respond.

Bad customer service will not respond to issues with orders
I've been using GCR for over a year now everything has been great until now when I get an unusable giftcard I've sent out three emails in one week with no response and one phone call to them and they tell me to send an email very bad service

Awful. It has been 11 weeks and still no Payment!!!
I submitted gift cards for sale to GCR on 12/18/15. USPS confirmed that they received the gift cards on 12/23. They couldn't confirm that they had received them until 1/716. It took until 2/3 to confirm that I would receive payment. 1 month later and I still haven't received a check.
How is service this bad even possible? I can send Cardpool, ABC GC, Giftcard zen, or Saveya gift cards and have payment within 2 weeks, yet these schmucks cant get payment to me within 2 months!!
Avoid this company at all costs. I read these reviews beforehand, yet decided to take the extra 2% they were paying me. It is not worth your sanity waiting for months for payment to earn an extra few dollars on a gift card sale.
I have also filed a complaint with the BBB to help sort this out

Don't do it! Don't sell them your gift cards! You've been warned!
It appears that gift card rescue is happy to sell cards and receive payment but is none too eager to pay the sellers for the cards.
Thus, I would strongly suggest that no one sell gift card rescue their cards! It took 9 weeks, many phone calls, several voice mails, countless emails, and ultimately the Better Business Bureau to intervene and untangle their lies in order for me to get paid.
If you haven't been paid by gift card rescue, I encourage you to ask the Better Business Bureau for assistance. You can file a complaint at bbb.org.

No payment after two months. SCAM!
Short story: Sent in over $1,000 worth of cards late December 2015. Still haven't received payment now March 2016.
Long story: Sent in cards before Christmas. I was notified that I had to send in verification documents, so I sent those 12/31. Have sent multiple emails to company requesting status of the sale with no response. Online status shows "payment processed" on 1/21, but I never received a check nor any emails about the payment/shipping.
Hopefully this serves as a warning to anyone thinking about selling to them. I sold cards to four other gift card exchanges at the same time (SaveYa, Gift Card Zen, Cardpool, ABC Gift Cards) and received payment within 5-15 days from all of them.
This company is also clearly artificially inflating their ratings by posting false reviews.
