Does anyone ever get their check
I mailed my gift card in on January 17, 2016. I waited for the check after the ungodly lengthy time for them to 'process' it. After they marked the check had been mailed I waited and waited. 3 emails to customer service later, I finally received a response. They said they would reprocess the check, which seems like their bread and butter. They claimed another 45 days and then they would cut a 'manual check'. It's now April 14th, nearly 4 months since mailing off my gift card and still have not received any money, no mail, nothing. This is beyond bad business.
4/15/2016 update- Finally received the paper check. I'm glad to finally wash my hands of this.

$600 for Worthless Giftcards
I had done business with gift card rescue three times prior to a recent order. This latest order was for 4 PF Changs gift cards for a total of $800. when the gift cards were received three of them were of 0 balance value. I double-checked these values by telephone and by webste. I completed the affidavit as required by gift card rescue and returned the worthless gift cards of $600 cost paying additional postage for Postal Service tracking.I followed giftcardrescue by telephone and email multiple times in order to ascertain the status of my refund claim. The answer I received multiple times from Benjamin was that they were investigating the claim and that I should get a refund within 7 to 14 business days of receipt of the returned cards. This was after many attempts to contact customer service Kama being cut off and after having left several voicemails which were never returned buy themI spoke finally with Benjamin this morning and he has again referred my case to his refund manager and indicated that his supervisor would call me by tomorrow, Thursday April 14th.I don't have a high degree of confidence that either of these things will happen because none of my previous voicemails or emails have been returned.I have explained to Benjamin Bratt I have $600 at risk in this situation and that I bought the gift cards in good faith however the website report for the three bad cards indicated that they were a zero balance at the time of shipment.I am hopeful that I will get my refund probably

Not sure if my money will even come
I have used other online websites to sell gift cards to that I don't want/no longer need, and giftcardrescue has been the absolute worst. Other websites mail out your check within two days and it comes by the end of the week. However, I turned to this website because for some reason my usual website doesn't take Southwest Airlines gift cards.
No joke, this is the timeline: I started my request on February 9th. I mailed out my card 5 days after this date. On March 5th, I received a notice that they received my gift card and the email states "You will receive another status update within two business days about your order." I waited, and eventually sent them an email on March 17th asking what was going on. They did not email me within 1-2 business days like it says on their website. it wasn't until March 23rd that I received an email stating they mailed out my check USPS First Class ("3-5 business days" it says), and an email on March 26th stating my issue had been resolved from the one I sent on the 17th.
It is now April 9th, and I've been checking my mail almost every day for this long-awaited check. I feel scammed, and felt the need to get the word out there that this company is terrible to deal with. They are exactly what you fear in a company that you are sending your money to.

Total scam thieves liars how are they still in business
I can beat all your stories. In January 2016, I saw gift card rescue on shark tank. I thought it was a wonderful idea and sent in my $650 Apple gift card. It was a gift from a business vendor and I hadn't used it because I didn't want to buy any Apple products. I called the number on the back of the card to confirm the value and I got a confirmation that it had $650 on it . I Fedexed the gift card to gift card rescue on February 1. On February 24 I called them after sending a couple emails that were on answered and they said it was still processing. They told me that it takes 30 days to mail a check from Merrill and that they would mail it on the 24th and if I didn't get it by March 24 to call and they would reissue it. Of course on March 24 no check came so I called them on March 25 and asked him where my check was and they said that I should have it by then so they would void it and reissue it. I told them that I thought that was absolutely ridiculous it only took a day or two to mail something it shouldn't take 30 days to mail something. The guy sounded like he didn't care and just said that it would be reissued and 3 to 5 business days and it would take 3 to 5 business days to get to me. In early April I emailed them again to see if they had mailed the check and they said they were processing it and it would take 3 to 5 business days to get to me. So today April 9 a Saturday, I didn't email from them saying that the gift card has a zero balance it's being returned to them and they're avoiding the check that they wrote me on February 24 that I never received that was supposed to be reissued. This company is completely scamming people and I plan to report them to all governing bodies I can think of. Do not use this company they will steal your card and never give you your money

Mail Fraud Investigations
This company is impossible. They flat out told me on the phone that they would not honor the terms of service on their site. They are rude on the phone and they clearly do not communicate with one another. I reported them to the Maryland state attorney general consumer protection division (they were very familiar with this company) and with the postal inspection division (who had also had reports of mail fraud involving this company). They are predatory. Do not do business with them. Period.

No check yet! Do not use this company!
I tried to be patient with them but this is ridiculous I mailed them my gift cards in january and still have not received a check! They said it was mailed out a month ago! They are so hard to get on the phone! And when you do get them on the phone there answers are not helpful at all! Just warning everyone don't use them!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
I sent a gc in Feb and it took them 3 weeks to confirm that they received it even though I had a UPS receipt confirmation. Then they claimed that they sent a check. Wait 30 days to get it. Nothing. Promised to send another check. I have not seen it either 2 weeks later. They say to wait 45 days before they can issue another check. They will not answer emails or the phone. This company must be a scan. DO NOT USE!

BEWARE,SCAMMERS
I mailed 2 Lowe's Merchandise Credit Cards which were a gift and I thought was basically the same back in Feb.2016. I finally received an email on March 5,2016 stating my cards had been received and was being processed. I got busy and really was giving the company time to process my order I would check the status over the next few weeks. The Status showed processing and a check would be mailed in a specific amount, status never changed, which I patiently waited. Giving the company time to process my order. I emailed the company on April 3, 2016 to ask what was the hold-up with my check because when I checked the status of my order it was still showing processing and a check would be mailed to me in a specific amount( over $200)
I received an email back today April 6,2016 stating the company is unable to accept my cards because GCR doesn't accept Merchandise Credit which I wasn't aware of there policy. I totally understand and I have no problem with the company not accepting the cards. What I have a problem with is the company has sent me (automated) or not over 25 emails since I signed up online Feb. 2016 offers, specials etc. but no one contacted me to let me know my cards can't be accepted. Or better yet mail my cards back to me..
In the same email I get a message that I need to send a Self stamped envelope so my cards can be mailed back to me but if lost or stolen GCR is not responsible(CLEARLY A RIP OFF)
Then in the Second Email I receive on April 6,2016 from GCR it stated as of April 6,2016 if no self stamped Envelope isn't received Within 30 days of receiving my order GCR will deem the cards as abandoned as of April 6,2016 and will be donated to GCR...
Golefigger today is April 6, 2016
I can't Believe this Company is still in business with all the Bad Reviews. I really get why people say read the reviews of company's first before doing business. My step father is an Attorney and if this company thinks I am going to just let them take/rip me off they have another thing coming this is NOT the last GCR will hear from me.
I put my experience on social media and I was shocked by the amount of Negative Feedback about this Company either someone used the GCR or had heard not so good things about GCR.
I would tell everyone please BEWARE IF THIS COMPANY.

3 months, no check!!
I have one better than Kyle. I mailed my $25 AMC gift card Jan 4, 2016. Approximately 2 weeks later, they claimed they still did not receive it. I called and spoke with Benjamin (he's the only guy who ever answers) he said they were backed up in processing. (I think it means he is). He asked to call next Friday and he would then take action (versus them calling me).
I did this ever week with no resolution. On Feb 27, they claimed a check was mailed and to keep checking. No check.
March 18, Benjamin said they would 're-issue' the check and to give it 2 weeks despite my objection to this time frame.
April 6, today I have no check. Benjamin states he shows it was re-issued. **C'mon, the postal service can make a mistake, but 2 times now? I'm confident it was never issued.** Benjamin says he is escalating to his financial manager and wanted me to call back tomorrow. I asked he call me as I've made dozens of calls. I also said, I expect an overnight check, payment via pay pal, or cash equivalent card of my $25 (not the $18 agreed upon amount. They have a 100% money back guarantee and I want it at this point.
I looked up AMC gift cards and they don't have any to sell. So, 3rd month now and they got free $25 from me. This IS FRAUDULENT!!! When (IF) he calls tomorrow, unless I'm asked for my PayPal account or other wire like transfer ability, I will likely start the next process of legal action, including contacting the Attorney General and other legal bodies. Sure it will WASTE my time, but given the time investment I've felt, the principles involved, and my desire for them to feel pain if they don't make it right translate to me wasting more time.

Bad gift card
I ordered a $284 Home Depot gift card but it had a $0 balance. Site and email states I have 24 hours to dispute with an email which I did. Not happy about how they seem indifferent about getting me my refund back immediately.

Slow service
I have ordered almost $1000 giftcards from here and one of them has 0 balance.
I have submitted the refund request on March 7th and it is over 22 days and there is no update yet.
Refund request form and zero balance card was delivered to the giftcardrescue address on March 10. USPS confirmed that it was delivered to the address on March 10th.
I do have tracking number for the mail.

SLOW, poor service
Decided to sell 3 gift cards to GiftCardRescue for a total of $264 as they were paying the best rate for them and I had never sold anything to them before. I detailed the dates of my order with them below for reference. Skip to the bottom to see my opinions.
I placed my order on 2/27 and mailed them with tracking. Tracking said delivered on 3/2. The status on their website updates to cards received on 3/5 and it says 'mailing check to (my address)'. I wait 14 business days as they require and still receive nothing. I sent them an email for an update on my order on 3/23 which opened a support ticket. It is written I will receive a reply in 1-2 business days. 3/28 I receive an automated status update from the website saying that my check has been mailed and to allow up to 14 business days for arrival.
First of all, it's unacceptable that GiftCardRescue had my gift cards for a total of 26 days before issuing payment. I don't care how many "business days" that was because it was clearly excessive. Second, it almost never takes 14 business days for mail to arrive unless there is a serious issue. Stating this as their estimated arrival time just leads me to believe the check won't be mailed for another entire week. If it does take the maximum amount of time to receive my check I'll have waited a total of 6 weeks. 6 entire weeks to sell a few giftcards. That's ridiculous.
Don't sell to GiftCardRescue even if their rates are slightly better than the other sites. You'll wait for weeks and weeks before they pay at their own leisure. Their customer service is difficult to reach and slow to reply. Use a bigger better established vendor.
I will revise this to 2 stars if I receive the check and am able to cash it without issue.
EDIT/UPDATE: It is now 4/25 and I have not received my check yet. I emailed customer support again on 4/21 and am awaiting a reply. It has now been 8 weeks since I began this order and 7 weeks since my cards were received. Still waiting and will update when/if this ends.

Worst customer service
Don't trust these guys .. If you are lucky your gift card will have 50% or 60% value .. If you are unlucky like me then it will be zero balance..
You won't be saving any money by buying the gift cards from them..
Received gift card with zero balance.
After submitting the refund form and and giftcard I am now waiting for them to refund my money..
Go with cardcash or giftcardzen ..

I mailed two gift cards back in February, no check and no response to my emails.

Never received my check
This company is a joke! They pride themselves on "fast payment" and "great customer service" and I have experienced the complete opposite. I mailed in my $100 gift card and finally received notification that payment was processed and allow 3 weeks to receive. Well it's been well over 3 weeks and I have no check and no response to my email I sent (which they say they will respond to within one day). I realize I'm not alone in this experience and I'm afraid I will never receive my check, therefore I am hoping the negative reviews I post will make them respond! This is ridiculous. Do not use this company!!

The Nigerian scammer wanted my social security number and has not delivered the order.
The company wanted my social security number. I did a search for this company and the owner looks Nigerian to me. I am feeling that I might have been scammed. I have purchased gift card from other companies before but never asked for my social security number. I have a feeling that my identify is about to be stolen because there is no reason that a gift card company need your social security number. However Nigerian scammers ask for it all the time. My credit card has been charged for the gift card however the card yet to arrive.
So far I am very upset about being asked for my social security number and feel this is a violation of my privacy.

Horrible Service
I sent the site 2 gift cards in exchange for a check in the amount of $150. That was back in early February. They said they sent a check to me on February 15, however it never arrived. They asked me to wait until 30 days has past then re-request the check. IT DOES NOT TAKE 30 DAYS TO MAIL A CHECK FROM COLUMBIA, MD TO BALTIMORE, MD. I called today re-requesting a check and requested they send me a tracking number for the mail and they flat out refused. Horrible, rude customer service who refused to let me speak with a supervisor or the finance department to ensure a tacking number will be associated with the check.
DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
