Purchased a gift card for Olive Garden…

Purchased a gift card for Olive Garden from Giftory for a birthday present. When the recipient tried to use the card at the restaurant it had already been used. Humiliating for the gift recipient as well as for me. Did some research on Giftory’s shady practices after discovering they have an “F” rating with the BBB and discovered they were victims of Identity Theft I believe they were required to inform their customers about their personal data exposure but failed to do so.
**Tried unsuccessfully 3 times for a refund to no avail.

Huge Waste of Money

Huge Waste of Money, excessive hurdles and terrible customer service makes it impossible to redeem their vouchers. Have submitted several requests for help through their website, wasted countless hours with this disaster and still have nothing to show for it.

Be aware of this vendor

Be ware of this vendor. While you can purchase the ticket/experience at a discount, redeeming the voucher is another story. No where on their site does it make clear that you cannot redeem the tickets on demand. Instead, you have to request when you’d like to use the voucher and wait for them to respond. This was the case when my family planned to go to the zoo, I requested to redeem the voucher 3 days before our scheduled day and Giftory emailed back a week later “sorry we missed you.” In turn I had to buy tickets direct from the zoo. I disputed giftory with my credit card saying the services couldn’t be used and the merchant tried to use my booking request as “proof” that I used the services. False advertisement- take your money elsewhere!

Terrible, waste of money

Terrible. Got a AMC deal with tickets and all back In September for this week. All of a sudden, my tickets don’t exist in my giftory account. When I know I purchased them. I’d steer clear if possible. First and last experience with this company. “Your voucher never expires” well it seems like it’s no longer active to me

SCAM!!!!! Not to be trusted!

I purchased a spa day with Giftory. The voucher was not accepted by the spa and I asked for a refund and I did not get a response. They do not have a number to contact just through email. This purchase involved a significant amount of money, and it is incredibly frustrating to be left without the service I paid for.

I had a very disappointing experience with Giftory AVOID THIS

I had a very disappointing experience with Giftory.

On December 28, 2025, I purchased four San Diego Zoo tickets through Giftory for $249.60. I received an order confirmation and an email stating that they had contacted the zoo, but I never received the actual tickets.

Since I did not receive the tickets and was not getting a timely or clear response, I had to purchase the tickets directly from the San Diego Zoo using a different credit card to avoid disrupting my plans.

I contacted Giftory multiple times the same day to report that I never received the tickets. After several back-and-forth emails, I was told that because I had opened a dispute with my credit card company, they could not issue a refund through their system.

At the end of the day, I paid for a service that was never delivered. The lack of timely fulfillment and resolution was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend purchasing time-sensitive tickets through Giftory.

I want to gently clarify a couple of things regarding your order so you know exactly what happened behind the scenes. First, our platform is unable to process same-day bookings. We need a bit of lead time to coordinate with our venue partners and secure the actual tickets, which is why they didn't arrive in time for your visit that day.

Regarding your refund, I see that you opened a dispute directly with your credit card company. When a charge is disputed, the bank handles the return of the funds, which means you do receive your money back through that process! However, doing so locks the transaction on our end, making it physically impossible for us to issue a separate, duplicate refund through our system.

Even though your bank has handled the financial side, we know this was a frustrating experience and we would still love the opportunity to make it right.
