Mediocre option at best
I only had LTE service and unreliable service quite often. If this hadn’t been free, I would have demanded a refund.

Data is slow as hell
Data is slow as hell. It says LTE and 5G data but barely loads at 3G speed (and I did everything the company suggested below in their reply). It was this slow in 2025 when I was in a different country. How is it still so slow in 2026??? Thankfully the data is complimentary, because I would have hated to pay for this kind of speed. Please improve your cellular speed! My Tmobile international plan provides much better speed.

Went to Malaysia’s Lotus Desaru beach resort and wife is satisfied with the service. Same settings on my phone, but I can’t get internet using Gigsky. Will try it in China and see if I get a better experience.

Sucks network speed
Extremely slow network speed in Paris
I used the complimentary GigSky eSIM provided as a Visa Infinite benefit during my trip to Paris. Unfortunately, my iPhone 17 Pro Max consistently showed only LTE, and the network speed was extremely slow. Webpages and apps often took a very long time to respond, which was frustrating and wasted a lot of my time.
GigSky responded to my review and suggested toggling Airplane Mode or resetting my network settings. I appreciate their response, but I would like to understand the actual cause of the problem. Was 5G supported by this Visa Infinite plan in France? Which French mobile network was the eSIM using, and was there any throttling or network issue affecting my service?
As this service is offered as a benefit to Visa Infinite cardholders, I expected a much better and more reliable mobile data experience.

Absolute garbage!
I’ve used GigSky 5 times to date. The first 3 times was okay but these last two times, it was terrible. I had a lot of connection issues and when connected, the speed was ridiculously slow; almost unusable. When I had issues the first time during my stay in Africa, I contacted them and after 2 days of back and forth with customer service, I went from having no connection at all to very slow connection. This last time I used it during my trip to Dominican Republic, I barely used the unlimited data package because it usually didn’t connect and when it did, the speed was terrible. I contacted customer service again and requested that they fix the issue or lose a customer. I got a reply requesting to do the same type of debugging as I had done in Africa. I did not. I’m on vacation and I had no desire to start debugging with customer service as I had done in Africa for days.

The network speed is very good, but it shows the computer room IP. If there is a package of native IP or home broadband IP, you will consider buying it.
