I hadn’t been to Glasswells “The Place To Eat” before, in fact I didn’t really know it was there! My friend took me for coffee and cake and I was very impressed! A light, clean restaurant, lovely selection of cakes and staff we professional and efficient. I am definitely bringing my husband here!

They had the furniture I wanted at a reasonable price. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Bethany, Bury St Edmunds branch rang to reply to our request for info about sofas with some suggested models - when we got there she showed us several that fitted our requirements, we were also able to chose colours from a swatch book. Our bespoke sofa(s) we will with us in under 12 weeks . What a very different shopping experience Glasswells turns out to be. Attentive staff, a real person on the phone and fantastic choice. We stayed for lunch and the very busy cafe was very calm with staff helping each other. We noticed two male staff in suits moving a table to enable a woman in a wheelchair to eat her lunch in comfort ! What a difference from all the other shops we went in !!!! Thank You we will be back! The company is always helpful and very efficient. The store is very welcoming and has a wide range of goods.

We have recently purchased a new lounge, stairs and landing carpet and Amtico for the dining room, hall and kitchen. We are extremely pleased with the end result. There was a problem initially but this was dealt with efficiently and resolved by John at Bury.
Nathan and Kieran who fitted the Amtico, despite travelling from Cambridge to Ipswich over 3 days, arrived on time each day and were more than helpful giving us valuable advice. They have done an exceptional job. Thanks one and all,

Purchasing a new bed , my wife and I were a little unsure which options were open to us.
We received an amazing level of service from Carl , he was extremely attentive to our needs and went over and above to ensure we were happy . I would recommend Glasswells to anyone looking for amazing service, fabulous products and great prices for the level of items they have for sale .

After browsing bedroom furniture at bury with no sales pressure we asked Peter for some information on one of your ranges. He was very knowledgeable and patient with us and talked us through availability and payment options. When we were ready and made our decisions to buy he completed the sale efficiently but was also a pleasure to talk to. Thank you.

I would recommend Glasswells removals. After many delays the quote first issued was honoured. The guys turned up promptly (on the hottest day of the year)and were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. We were the last in the chain so keys were late. Other teams turned up to help to ensure our furniture was in situ and rebuilt before the end of the day.

Staff who actually know what they are talking about. A rarity these days. Brilliant

Great service, friendly and informative

We only popped in as we had a leaflet delivered with offers, and ended buying the furniture set on display as soon as we entered the store! Then the Napoleon settees using the offer.

A special thanks to Nigel Gladwin for his clear explanation on both the items we purchased. He is a credit to the store.

The delivery guys were great too, a phone call ahead to confirm arrival time and took their time unpacking and setting up our furniture on a very hot day! Thanks guys. We did provide a cold drink.

It is a well-known fact that buying a mattress is a very difficult task. We had a very positive experience at Glasswells' Bury-St-Edmunds store where Peter Harrison guided us through all the options. Thanks to his knowledge and great expertise we were able to make an informed decision very quickly (having considered all the facts over a delicious lunch in the Glasswell restaurant...). It is rare nowadays to experience such great customer care. A big 'thank you' to Peter and also to his colleague Jack. We are looking forward to taking delivery of our our new mattress very soon.

Great service right from the store to the home. We had a cracked leg on a chair, replacement arrived within a couple of days. Maybe you will pay more than a national store, but great quality products and old fashioned superb service justify any extra.

We came in for another mattress and headed straight to Sally-Ann, we know she is the perfect person to help as she just has so much knowledge. It's amazing to see how she knows what people will like and not like and she helped my son to choose his perfect mattress.

Another great service from Glasswells with our bedroom carpet installation. Competitive price (had 3 quotes) and excellent measuring service before hand. Have used them in the past and will continue into the future.
