I’ve ordered from the site over 6 times. It’s a great way to ensure the products are legit and the ingredients remains the same as in Korea. Sometimes it’s cheaper to order from Amazon but the product definitely feels different. Unfortunately USA has tariff now due to the new president but it’s not stopping me from ordering. Definitely read the description before ordering and not relay on the picture to determine what you are getting.
Extremely disappointing – no refund, no proper customer service
I would strongly advise against ordering from Olive Young Global.
I placed an order months ago but never received it because I did not pay the customs fee. The parcel was supposed to be returned to Olive Young, and I was told I would get my money back once they received it. I contacted them at the end of July and received a reply on July 31st, but since then I have heard nothing. Despite several follow-ups, they have not responded and I still have not received my refund.
This is not acceptable. I am left without my order and without my money. The lack of responsibility and communication from Olive Young Global is extremely unprofessional.
If you are considering ordering from them – DONT. If something goes wrong, you might never see your money again.

Supremely overpriced and it’s only until you get to the check out page are you met with $60+ in taxes and customs fees. Not only that they switched to FedEx for DHL which now takes FOREVER to get your overpriced package. Luckily most of the stuff I’ve been able to find in TJMaxx for way way less!

Ordered August 13 and received via DHL on August 18. Order amount was £50 after coupons and discounts. No extra charges -this was one of my main concerns when I placed my order, that I may be charged VAT.

Be very very careful when ordering from this site. It’s such a shame as I have ordered multiple times with no issues at all. I placed a other order which was £82 and then I got a demand from DHL for VAT at 20% plus another fee totalling £24- I contacted DHL and they said it was correct as Olive Young have selected that option for the customer to pay for the duty and VAT and also indicated that the order was over £135 in value (they add a £10 insurance fee that is not stated on the website or on any of my receipts or emails which obviously increases the total order “value”) I contacted Olive Young and they just said they wont refund for vat and they have no control over charges at all - this is absolutely not true. They have the choice to add VAT at the point of purchase which most other sites do. It’s such a shame but I absolutely will never order from them again
Money grabber
Olive young has became so popular that now it’s has developed internationally. When you go international it shows how well the company is doing . Or may be they are going too fast that they will may end up broken .
If you can’t paid the VAT customer fee for your loyal customers then no one will want to shop with you .
They tell you it’s out of their control how much custom charge. That’s absolutely BS. when sending packages to other countries they really should calculate all delivery fees and custom fees before posting. They can charge the customers, however it is not nice for customer to having to pay a fee when the package arrived at the country. Then they turn around and say it’s got nothing to do with them it’s out of their control and if the packages get returned back to Korea, they’re unable to repost or refund. so in the end as a customer, you will lose the money and the product.
They’re not even worth one star . I only put it in order to write a review on the company.
They asked for my apartment complex…
They asked for my apartment complex name when the fedex GPS records indicated that it was delivered to the wrong building to try and harass me rather than return my money or replace the items. I just want a refund because I can't trust them to provide my products. I'm scared they're gonna just give me an empty box or something. They just keep sending fedex to call me to find an excuse to not have to pay money back. never buying from here ever again. it was awful. This was customer harassment. I've never had this experience with any company. Amazon prices are cheaper btw. Check amazon in the future. At least the refund policies on there are still amicable.
I'd like to add: Despite admitting the package was delivered to the wrong location - I never got my money back nor did I ever receive the products. I requested for a refund and they ghosted me.

I can not believe the company which runs globally and huge make such a mistake like this and handle customer service poorly. I wish I could attached picture of the image so I can get others opinion whether I understood wrong or not.
2 orders in it has been fantastic
So I read the reviews here first but really wanted to get Arencia products that I could not find elsewhere. I decided to take the risk and place an order to the UK with the attitude if it worked awesome I had my products and if it didn't I had learned something. My first order was dispatched super fast and via DPD - arrived no trouble with updates on the way. Every product has been amazing. So good I went in with a second order the week after and had exactly the same experience - quick and straightforward delivery.
Honestly I'm so happy to be able to get these brands in the UK - thank you!

I ordered a week ago the items from olive young. Everything arrived to the Netherlands very fast within a week, packed very good. Very happy with authentic items!
Fast shipping but there are cheaper sites
Overall the items are good, and genuine. I'm not sure why some people think they are fake. olive young are a massive company in korea and I'd trust them before I bought from amazon, another thing to note is that they are a korean company so some of the packaging is for the korean market and tbh they're not obliged to package for other countries why should they? Some brands have non korean instructions etc but it could account for the different packaging, also they do little exclusive bundles so that might be another reason. That said they're not perfect. I spend A LOT on korean skincare and my first two orders were easy and I got WhatsApp notifications to say my order was on its way and they arrived super fast, the next order zero message so I missed the delivery because I didn't know they were coming however DHL customer service sorted it out and I had it redelivered no problem which was a relief because if your parcel gets sent back to Korea you will get zero refund, best to get the tracking number from the order page and track it through dhl yourself. The most recent order might actually be my last tbh as although they do have really good deals for the amount I spend I don't love the service. First order came in three days my last order came today with a dirty makeup print on the hygiene seal of my toner pads no free keyring or mini with my fwee jelly pot, and yes I understand there are limited quantities but it took me under 4 orders to go from basic to gold member. Also the delivery turned up two days early which is nice but when I checked last night it said the parcel was still in Hong Kong. They're not the cheapest and even if stylevana takes forever foreverrrrr their customer service is really responsive. Yesstyle has got slowish service but their prices are cheaper....for olive young,if you want speedy service they are really quick but I'd rather save my money and buy more from another site. Unless there's something that's exclusive to them I don't think ill bother.

Well you're looking at the reviews thinking.. hell no. I was very sceptical too, I managed to get a lot of stuff for £84 with the item values being around $151 ( £119 ). The rabbit hole of Korean skincare can make you waste a lot of money on stuff you don't need. Don't spend a fortune to buy the stuff that they promote on socials because they don't even use it. Overall I had a good experience but keep in mind this was just a first order and I'm not sure how it would go if I were to keep ordering, I can say that the delivery was fast, estimated to be on Monday but I got it on Friday which was yesterday, took about a week to come. I would say its good for a first purchase and dip ( im not the father of that child ). If you're gonna buy keep it below £135 as customs can be annoying, but I would say £120 and below is the perfect amount. ( I live in the UK )

Rather don’t waste your time
I wrote a review before, but will write it in English now as well.
I wasn’t able to order at all, the website isn’t neat and still needs to be worked on. My order couldn’t be completed due to allegedly using an „old version“ of the app (when I actually just downloaded to order) - so PayPal wouldn’t work. I tried „updating“ multiple times, but this would not work, because it already was the latest version (surprise!) Paying via MasterCard would not work either, despite having no further troubles anywhere else. That’s No.1. I‘m seriously wondering how everyone else was even able to order.
The page itself is not customer friendly:
-slow processing of the cart or any changes to the cart;
- unclear visualisation of ongoing campaigns/sales;
-you can’t see the dates of an ongoing event/sales in the cart
-products only available during a campaign will just „disappear“ from your cart, instead of being visibly crossed out;
-intransparent pricing of items; I definitely checked on a few items and the conditions - over night my cart got more expensive due to unknown reasons - they were still „on sale“, but averagely 30-50 Ct. more expensive.
-when clicking on your products in the cart you need to pay attention, as soon as you click a little above the description the page will lead you to the brand page instead of a description of the product
-customer support response takes longer than a day - if you ask a question on Friday or your question didn’t get fully answered - you‘ll not receive an answer before Monday and/or you need to file a new question every time. In case the sale lasted only till Sun 0:00, well bad luck then.
So all in all I wasted a lot of time and found out only in the end that I wasn’t even able to successfully order.
Considering the fact that you need to pay customs (and possibly shipping) I‘d think twice whether your purchase is really a „good deal“ at all. Customs is being mentioned in tiny lines before confirming the purchase, so it isn’t true that this information is being hidden like mentioned by others, but it still isn’t customer friendly either to write it in such a way that you need your glasses on to actually see and read it.
Last but not least , it is highly questionable to not reimburse customers for orders that weren’t able to get delivered for whatever reason. Plenty of people, as shown in the reviews, ordered for more than 100$, but since it didn’t get delivered the company claims the right to not only keep the parcels after being returned, but also to keep the money. I don’t think this is legal at all. But legal or not - just imagine placing an order and by some stupid misunderstanding with the delivery service you just lose your money - that’s insane!
I‘d say I‘m grateful my order didn’t work out - as long as you’re not stubbornly focusing on one product you‘ll definitely find a good deal elsewhere with better conditions for you as a customer. Personally I‘m willing to spend a little more instead of being angry or my time being taken away like that. As a customer I feel disrespected by this company.

I placed an order with Olive Young Global, but the products never made it through customs and were returned to the seller. What followed was a frustrating experience: the company initially refused to issue a full refund, despite the fact that I never received the goods and they were returned to them.
Only after I cited EU consumer law and threatened formal action did they agree to refund me. While I appreciate that they eventually did the right thing, this should not have required such a fight. International sellers need to take responsibility for shipping issues and be transparent about customs risks.
If you’re ordering from outside South Korea, be warned: if anything goes wrong with shipping, you may have to fight hard to get your money back.

J'ai réalisé une commande de plus de 130€ sur le site Olive Young Global. Le colis a été remis à EMS puis Chronopost. Je n'ai eu aucune indication que le colis a été livré, ni par téléphone, ni par mail, ni d'avis de passage. Au bout de 10 jours, j'ai tracé le colis. Chronopost s'excuse, le colis est reparti en Corée. Olive Young refuse de me renvoyer le colis ou de me rembourser!! Inacceptable!! Est ce que quelqu'un sait quel recours je peux faire?
If I could have given a rating below 0, I would have done it!! I placed an order for over €130 on the Olive Young Global website. The package was handed over to EMS and then Chronopost. I received no indication that the package was delivered, neither by phone, nor by email, nor a delivery notice. After 10 days, I tracked the package. Chronopost apologizes, the package has gone back to Korea. Olive Young refuses to resend the package or refund me!! Unacceptable!! Does anyone know what recourse I can take?
