I used the same address to order my purchase and they said it’s not deliverable which is incorrect, they didn’t provide any solution or local office tracking for me until I followed up multiple times, and the package was returned within a week, now they won’t issue me any refund. Honestly I believe it’s their mailing label defects, and they are now keeping all my money and their products?!?!?!? I’m disappointed and will not order anything ever again. I’m disputing the charges, be aware everyone it’s a scam! They offer cheaper products and have a great variety of options but you won’t be able to enjoy anything if the slightest issue happens to your order.
OliveYoung's wrong custom declaration filing cost extra charges of 50£

This is experience sharing post, I hope this might be helpful for many people who thinking to order from OliveYoung.
I just recently had bad experience with order from Oliveyoung.
Order of total amount 129£ taken from my card and placed on 7/03/24 and arrived 22/03/24 and had to pay custom charge of 50£ to HMRC due OliveYoung colleague who filed custom declaration mentioned that order amount is 256$ which is not reflects real order's total cost !
When I contacted OY asking explanation they answered that they mentioned actual price without discounts ect......
F.e. if one product cost 30 on other shops . O Y listing it as 36 and then with some discount their price is 27 which you paying actually, however on declaration they mention 36£ which is taking you to pay for HMRC extra money !
I better order these products from UK Amazon and it would be even cheaper, in addition I waited for 3 weeks !
OliveYoung have no idea about custom charges, they should at least google it and they will see that in UK everything coming from overseas and cost above 135£ will be charged extra custom charge. Never had this kind of issues from Stylevana or other beauty web shops.
I had asked for compensation from #OliveYoung, will see if they accept their mistake and compensate my loss.
Ridiculous customer service
I wish I read the review before I place an order. I got troubles to receive the order and tried to reach customer service. However, all the results I got is they kept blaming me ( their customer). The parcel didn't deliver to my mailbox and ever I went to the post office twice but still couldn't get my parcel. Thus, I decided to get helps from customer service. After sending the first message, they blamed me for not giving the fully address. However, I sent the images of my order to prove that the address is fully given. And then THEY STILL KEPT BLAMING ME THAT " the recipient was ABSENT". It's RIDICULOUS because there was no call. I also contacted with courier agent representative and got the answer that since my parcel need to get the recipient's signature, it would not be sent to mailbox and I have to go to the post office to grab it. I wonder whether Olive young even tried to investigate my case or they didn't care and just find the excuse by BLAMING CUSTOMER?
First time as well as last time order here. I definitely delete this app whether I can get my parcel or nor

I have recently ordered few products from Oliveyoung Canada site and found out multiple hidden charges like custom fee, exchange rate cost. Hence my total cost really goes higher or similar to other site.
I would not order any products in future form Olive Young.

Very fast shipping
I've never received this fast shipping from South Korea! I live in Germany and the packaged shipped after just 3 days, I later then received it after 10 days or so. Usually I've ordered Kbeauty from Yesstyle, and they sometimes took 3 weeks to ship the package and another 3 weeks for it to arrive, the shipping with Olive young is just so much faster!
Also they have these special packs, where you sometimes get a little more or even double the product, which is really nice
Although the tax on the packages is kinda pricy, it's fine by me due to the fast shipping.

I was hesitant to order because of the reviews, so glad I did. All of the information for shipping to your country is on the website. In the UK, you don’t have to pay customs if your order is less than £135. My order arrived in just under 2 weeks, all in good condition. Tracking information was available for the whole journey.

Stay away from Olive Young orders! Ordered from Olive Young and qualified for free shipping. The package should have been below my countries tax-free threshold. However, Olive Young misleadingly listed a shipping fee/value of 64,150KRW (over 45USD) on a free shipping order, causing me to incur an extra 32USD in customs fees. They refused to refund the fee. Misleading and unacceptable practice. Very disappointed with Olive Young. Never again!
I never received my order
I never received my order, I live in the US and ordered a product that is worth 80 dollars. I just showed that it was delivered and It was not, I gave it about a week till asking about it. So I contacted customer service for a tracking number, reshipment, or a refund after a week. They gave me the tracking number which clearly showed that it was delivered to the wrong city I told them that it was not where it was supposed to get but they still claimed that it was the shipment area even though that is also wrong.
To sum it up, I have never got the package. Customer service is terrible and really hard to use
Awful experience
I'm never ordering from Olive Young ever again. I placed my first order on May 2nd and have never received my package or my money back. After many e-mails exchanged, it's now August and they marked it as ''delivered'' last week. I asked them about it saying that I have never received my package and that I don't want the products anymore as it has been over 3 months. They said they can't do anything about it and I'm not eligible for a refund because of customs clearance failure which means I'm not getting the products as it is going to return to origin nor my money back. That is so frustrating because it was not my fault.
The customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced!!
I’ve ordered from olive young twice. The first time went great everything arrived and nothing was damaged. This time I bought an order worth 144 usd including a few Kpop albums. The package was left at my door but in terrible condition. There were multiple holes in the package and the bottom was soaking wet! I didn’t think anything of it until I opened my package and my albums were ripped, bent, a cd broken and covered in water. I got in contact with olive young and after some back and forth they decided the best they could do because they had proof of delivery “that didn’t look wet” they would give me 8 points in compensation! 8 points is barely anything compared to my order. I will never order from olive young gobal again. If you’re planning on buying Kpop albums on here because they’re cheap, don’t! They do not care if anything happens.
For the shipping in France
For the shipping in France, this is EMS and Chronospost. For 74$ I paid plus 39€ for taxes. Les français ne commandez pas chez Olive Young, Chronospost se prend des frais de douanes énormes pour des petits colis.

I loved Oliveyoung due to the variety of products on their website and had no issues for my past orders. However, this last experience led me to terminate my account.
DHL delivered my $130 package to my apartment complex, but did NOT leave it in 1. the secure Amazon hub locker or 2. the secure package room. Instead, DHL left it in an UNSECURE location on the ground in front of the mailboxes which resulted in my package being stolen. I have no idea why DHL did this as I have had no issues with their deliveries in the past.
In my inquiry to Oliveyoung, I attached pictures of where DHL left my package (this picture was taken by DHL which proved that they left it in the unsecure location) and pictures of the two secure locations DHL could have left my package at, but didn't. Oliveyoung followed up with DHL and replied to me stating that they received a proof of delivery, an invoice, picture of the delivered parcel, and proof of on-demand-delivery subscription from DHL. Oliveyoung then decided to close my inquiry without waiting for a response.
TL;DR Oliveyoung is great until you have an issue with your delivery.
Totally addicted to Olive Young Global and their prices.
I am on my 4th order in 5 weeks, I always order over $60 to get free shipping and only order when an item is on offer I have had some amazing deals on Cosrx and have stocked up. I have also been able to pick up items with a 70 to 80% discount, I can try it and if it doesn’t suit me or I don’t like it it’s not an issue, but so far I like everything I have bought.
I always do a quick online search of each item before I buy, so far for the items I have bought I have not seen a better deal elsewhere.
You need to check prices regularly to make sure you get the best deals as the offers are always changing if you set up the wish list you can quickly check the current prices.
Make sure you use all the coupons etc to get the best deals.
All my parcels have been shipped quickly my only issue is tracking through the app. I find 3rd party tracking sites for EMS keep me updated when using screenshots and Google translate and Parcel Force when it arrives in UK.
Not had to pay any tax or duty for any of my parcels, looking at the gov.uk website I think shipments for goods of Korean origin bought by yourself with an order value of under £135 will not incur any charges.
Every parcel has been well packaged and every item received in perfect condition. Even though all the items I have bought have been heavily discounted the expiration date on the products has been 2 years+
I am new to k-beauty but in a few weeks my skin is in the best condition it’s been in years and I am totally addicted to Olive Young Global and their prices.
