Just a cheap product from China

I’ve ended up with a pair of hair straighteners that don’t heat up, arrived with an unusual adapter plug that didn’t hold the plug in when used, and the product is a cheap plastic, none of which showed up on the advertising. I would say everything is deliberately made to look from Uk from write up to advertising, but is in fact from China. A fact I only found out when I said I wanted to return and that’s where I had to send to! Stay away.

Ordered a heated hair brush on 28…

Ordered a heated hair brush on 28 August, delivered on 16 September. Used on 17 September, did not work on 18 September. 5 emails sent since then asking for a refund, all falling on deaf ears.
After reading previous comments I have now asked for a replacement as I am not prepared to pay for shipping to China. A total waste of money. Wish I had paid by credit card so that I could have reclaimed the money from the bank.

I really like the ceramic hair brush

Wow! I must be one of the very few women who actually uses my heated ceramic brush most days and am more than happy with the outcome. After cancer treatment I have lost a lot of hair and what remains is bitty, flyaway and has a coarse texture. Using the ceramic brush smooths out the flyaway hair and has given me confidence in public. It was dear but I think, well worth it. Thank you Glowcept.

Very disappointed

I ordered a brush and case. It took two weeks to arrive. It takes 6 hours to charge and discharges the charge within one use. It arrived on the Thursday I reported the issue immediately but the seem to be very slow in offering a solution when they should be offering a replacement immediately or a refund. After reading the reviews I beginning to think I will just be left with a useless brush.

Rubbish

Rubbish! Heated brush doesn’t work on short hair at all! Very disappointed…. Now requesting refund but not holding out much hope having read these reviews. Why didn’t I look at these sooner???!!! 🤬🤬

I received a completely different item

I received a completely different item. The item I received isn’t even listed on the website. The product was very cheap and it looks already used. The shop refused to pay for the return shipping, then they offered 50% refund but I never received.
I opened a case on paypal but I lost it because they accepted the return but they never sent the address.
They are a professional scammers.

Brush arrived late.Paid £39 ,was…

Brush arrived late.Paid £39 ,was charged£52.95for(unordered xtras).Item not fit for purpose.In communication with themsince16th Aug,trying to get a return address.Advised by bank to request collection from my property within 15 days this request sent 1day ago.Today the reply tells me to ship to China and state on package that item worth is £10.and on receipt they will refund.Alternately they will refund me 30%if I feel the return process is cumbersome.This is ongoing and needs publicly highlighting.Clearly,looking at the reviews I am not alone.I guess they are making a lot of money from their misleading Returns Policy.A UK return address would be a start.

Returns go to China!

I purchased a styling brush from Glowcept which took 2 weeks to get to me. When i wanted to return the item as it didn't work for me they avoided telling me where to send it, then offered me another product instead. Eventually I insisted that I wanted to return it and was told it would have to be sent tracked and traced to China! When I complained that they had not been upfront about this they offered me a 30% refund instead of returning the item. At this point I agreed to this as it was going to cost me £25-30 to send the package back. Whilst the interactions I had with them were very polite, I would not recommend this company to anyone as they are not being really honest about what is entailed if the products don't work for you.

DO NOT use this company -I placed an…

DO NOT use this company -I placed an order and waited 16 days for it to arrive. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that if I wanted to return the item, I’d have to pay for shipping back to China — which is expensive.
After reading other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one who’s had this issue, (note to self check before I order in future) It seems like delayed shipping and costly international returns are a recurring problem with this company.
I wouldn’t recommend ordering unless you’re absolutely sure you’ll keep the item — and are okay with waiting a long time to receive it.

Be very very careful before ordering…

Be very very careful before ordering from this company. Yes, they offer a 30 day no questions asked return guarantee BUT the item has to be returned to China at your own expense. The straightener I ordered also took 17 days to arrive, presumably from China. But communication and customer service is good - was it AI I was communicating with? I don’t know, but they were on the ball. Because of the return issues I would hesitate to buy again from Glowcept.

My first delivery of my flat brush wouldn't charge. and wouldn't set to temperature, I got in touch with customer services, and sent photo of product, straight away I was sent a replacement, and I am glad to say this one works perfectly very pleased with product and service thank you.

Help at Hand

My order never arrived although I had paid for it. Got in touch with Glowcept and they looked into it all for me . After a wee while they replaced my order free of charge and eased my mind. This is a great company if you have any problems they are so very helpful.

Great customer service

My first 'straight brush' ordered was defective - I reported it by e-mail, was asked to send a photo of fault, and was then sent a new one straight away. The brush works! but especially impressed by the customer service
