Advertised 1-3 days processing and shipping. Took 16 days for them to ship. No email or notification of delay. No compensation for complication. A poor attitude customer service representative and paid $65 for 3 week shipping of a plastic wheel well liner. Avoid if possible

Ordered 5w30 trans fluid and received 75w 80. They won’t accept returns for fluid, and they won’t refund me after stringing me along for 2 weeks. They even tried to act like these two viscosities are interchangeable and ultimately denied my claim. Do not use these people, they literally scammed me out of 70$ and I’m trying to get my money back through the bank now.

My experience with GMPartsGiant was nothing short of aggravating. I placed an order for parts that were clearly listed as “in stock” on their website, only to have it canceled several days later due to “availability issues.” The site was never updated to reflect the shortage, which felt misleading.

When I tried to get answers, I was told to call — but their phone system simply redirected me without connecting to a real person. The online chat option was a joke, total waste of time leaving me with no direct way to resolve the problem. request supervisor multiple times, never granted even after multiple reps through chat.

Adding to the frustration, they kept a hold on my bank card for several days after canceling the order and refused to release it sooner. This tied up my funds unnecessarily and caused a major inconvenience.

Overall, the outdated inventory info, lack of communication, and slow handling of payments made this a very poor experience.

Timely delivery part was excellent

3 April 2026 I went to gmpartsgiant.com website. You have to enter the vehicle prior to starting a purchase. I ordered a thermostat asm eng cool part 12642691 via sales order VG83642696. Part arrived 6 April 2026..April 24, I contacted to return the item because it was not the correct part for my vehicle. I was contacted stating it was an electrical part and not returnable. I informed them I had put the VIN in and this was the recommended part....they email back stating I received a superseding part 24588515 and the parts are interchangeable and should work. The website did not reflect the updated information and the final answer was still no I was not authorized a return....the part clearly was not interchangeable it was totally different..I had to go to the local Chevrolet dealer and get the correct part.

Parts were sent in a timely manner and perfect fit.

They had the right parts for my vehicle at a good price. Everything fit great and product is working well.

I had a terrible experience with GM Parts Giant and would strongly advise others to avoid them.

Their customer service is essentially nonexistent. Communication is slow, unhelpful, and they do not take responsibility when issues arise. In my case, I never even received the item I ordered. I was notified that it was lost in transit and later confirmed it was being returned to the sender—yet they still refused to issue a refund.

Despite multiple follow-ups and providing proof, they continued to delay and avoid resolving the issue. It feels like they are more interested in keeping your money than actually helping their customers.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, buy from literally any other retailer. This was one of the worst purchasing experiences I’ve had.
