We purchased a GO2bank card from Dollar Tree and loaded $20 onto it, expecting a simple and secure way to manage our money. When we tried to use the card, it didn’t work at all. The money was gone, and it felt like it was stolen. We tried multiple times to reach customer service, but no one was available. After days of trying, we finally spoke to someone — and they had no idea what happened to our funds. No resolution, no accountability. My husband told the representative that we would make sure people know about this scam. Save yourself the frustration and stay far away from GO2bank.
This Business is NOT a legitimate bank
This "bank" does not permit transfers to other banks. Regardless of the balance in your account, access is limited to $3,000 per month, and spending is capped at $10,000 monthly. Wire transfers are not available. Should you try to close your account, the sole option is to receive a check within 2-3 weeks. It is advisable to steer clear of this company at all costs. They are not a bank; they are engaging in deceptive practices.

someone is transferring money from my account in another back to an account in Go2. I had to close my account and open another one, and they are doing it again.
They dont protect their customers
On September 10, 2025, I reached out to Go2Bank regarding the horrible mishandling of my account. They replied requesting two business days to review my case and stated they would respond by September 15, 2025. As of today, no response has been received
They wont help investigate the unauthorized transactions, and repeatedly obstruct of my valid claims.
Background of Events
• On January 3, 2025, my vehicle was broken into, and both my wallet and phone were stolen. A police report was filed.
• On January 10, 2025, I was struck by a vehicle, i had catastrophic injuries that resulted in the loss of multiple organs, paraplegia, and hospitalization until June 16, 2025. - During my hospitalization, my account was compromised.
• On June 17, 2025, $10,300 was deposited into my account to cover medical and living expenses. The very next day, two unauthorized withdrawals ($2,000 and $2,500) occurred at “Factory Deals.”
• I immediately reported the fraud, Go2Bank locked my account and returned what was left in the account totaling $5,795.66 via check.
• Despite providing my medical records, police reports, and dispute forms three separate times, they ignored my submissions, claimed the documents were “not received,” and forced me through unnecessary delays and denials.
I email them i get the same automated responses saying they will contact me o. Two days. I call they hang upon me repeatedly. Your banks supposed to protect you not against you. This has been the worst bank I've ever deat with as if im not going through enough this bank is making it so much more horrible! Becareful if you bank with Go2Bank!

Disappointing I can’t give negative stars. I’m so frustrated I’m looking into any legal rights I may have. I send money to another account it didn’t go through so I sent it again. The bank I sent it too told me Go2 declined the transaction. Go2 told me it’s in them I did this back and forth for a while told I had to wait till the 11th I did contacting them again they said sorry the 12th now in less than an hour it will be the 13th. This isn’t the first mishap. My card is often declined with money in the account. Some days I’ve had to call 4 times as each transaction was declined for no reason. One time I was at the grocery store. Checked my balance plenty of money still declined called while I was in the store hoping to pay for my stuff and head home. Nope they kept me in hold for 40 minutes. I’ve had enough. Getting paid early isn’t with this stress. I think we should all pull a class action together and give them a taste of what it feels like. Please don’t trust these crooks with your money. You will regret it 100%.

Literally the worse “bank” they have hidden fees and decline your transactions when u have funds in the account and just tell u to try a different amount. Like If I want to make a purchase for something no I dont want to try a lesser amount I want to get what my money covers! Online activation is not good. Buy a card at a store and add money. once you create an account it signs you up for another card. cant activate the original card with the account and cannot make a new account because the email is in use. Phone support is non existent and online feels like it is AI. just goes in circles. WORST EVER

My debit card wore out. Requested a new card. It arrived July 30, I activated it late the evening. at 9: AM the next morning the card was frozen, The card number was NEVER on the internet. It was only available inside the bank. The bank refuses to review the account even after 18 days, 6 Calls to customer service and 4 chats were useless. chat says, call customer service, CS says wait for review

This the worst bank i have ever dealt with. i used a service called freetax usa, did my taxes i was to receive a debit card with my tax refund. never got it. i call the tax free company they send my to go2bank . i cannot taLK TO anyone unless i have their debit card, finally after weeks i have a debit. then am told i have to contact green bank because they were the ones who got my money they were suppose to send my money to go2bank but go2bank state they have no record of transfer. i had open an account with green.dot bank but now i have to get a card from them greendot so i have to have the last four digit of a debit card. mind you i still have no money. finally i am contacting the fraud with state and irs these two companies lost my money and i can't to to any person who will investigate find out where my money went. oh and i did contact irs and they state the money was sent to green dot bank, green dot bank sent me document showing they were paid but i never was. sorry if this was confusing i have been batted back and forth and still no money and no way to get it. i will be filling a small claims against both banks . oh and i di write a certified letter to go2bank, no response. Don't use either of these banks i filled my taxes in april an it is now july 2025
Fraud Enablers
They have customers that constantly try to scam us by impersonating one of my organization's employees. I called customer service several times to alert them of this, but could never get through to a human being. This is corporate negligence at its finest, and they are complicit in the impersonation and attempted fraud as far as I'm concerned. They clearly don't care who their customers are; they're just trying to meet some sort of account quota.

I should have read the reviews before opting for direct deposit of my checks. This bank changed my PIN number and then told me that I must have entered it incorrectly. I had to use credit to get my gas. Then, when I tried to change the pin in the app and online, it said there was an error and to try again later. I switched my check to another bank very quickly.

Worst online experience I've ever had. I'm not generally the type to take the time to rate a company's policies or customer service, but this so-called bank is the scourge of the internet. Way past unhelpful, downright rude and a product that malfunctions for hundreds of users. Take my advice, go elsewhere.

I would rate my experience as a zero, but that’s not even available, but I have my tax check come to a go to bank card. I went out of town. I use my card in Chicago and they said that they tried to contact me and I didn’t answer they permanently blocked my card. I have over 20 K in my account with no access to it and no one at customer service could give me a straight answer. They kept giving me the runaround. So I finally got in touch with the fraud department. Someone said they will get back in touch with me. Nobody have contacted me in over 60 days. I think they should pay everybody interest on their money if they hold it they asked me to send over my state ID, my Social Security card and my bank statement to prove my identity. I sent all through the items along with my tax return showing that the amount that was putting in my account, they told me that my ID which is a state ID with the new logo on top was fraudulent. This is unacceptable. This bank keeps everybody money and you cannot get a refund on it. I think everybody that uses this bank should call the Better Business Bureau and report them not only. Did they keep my money. The customer service sucked. I don’t even think they know who they work for. If you have money and you want it to be on a card use chime use chime at least they won’t keep your money.
