No Go Daddy

Tried to un park our website which was operated by our niece tragically died. Godaddy asked to supply the death certificate which we did, they the asked us to provide proof of who we were, which we did. they then stated that to re open the domain it could take up to eight weeks and suggested that we opened a new website , at a cost, which would be available immediately. after 48hrs of trying we gave up and asked to cancel our contract and be given a refund. It then turned out that their system had been hacked into and another amount was taken from my debit card by an outfit called wix.com. Fortunately our bank Lloyds were able to get all our money repaid and conclude this frustrating episode.

OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES “GODADDY”!!!

Today I went on WhatsApp to give GoDaddy some of the things that I had to go through because they stole my money from me as they are my account debit and kept them and they tried a few times to steal it but they were declined because I didn’t have any of in the account so they didn’t get anything from them then I say B them because they were declined by my credit card and they kept trying as if I owed them money so I didn’t they owed me money before I could not get access when I wanted to use it and they were not replying eemas and they didn’t think they were on WhatsApp andi went on there and they treated me like a scam and I was a so upset and I don’t mince my words by now my carer watching what I was doing as I havenot got a fast way to type a message. The GoDaddy managed can see that Ihavenot been at all to accessmy eebitebi paid over £74 pointds for you only have to look at the website to see if he can gain access with just the website and domain name thatt I now want to sell as you have taken the money from my account and I am still entitled to sellmy domain name and Iwould like tosell it for
£1,250. Please could you please help me out with this matter to b sell my domain name. Thank you . I suffer from a medical and it’s not been seen for more than two years andi had an attack because of the dress and anxiety that’sbeen having it’s way with me and I’m just so tired when something is unfit for purpose Iam entitled to a refund. Please do not make take your company to court again it’s tedious when you are throwing money away when all you have to do is bloody look 👀opening up your eyes will be the best thing you’re ever done it will benefit you for yonks. Look please do pay my money back into my account at revolut. You’re now paying attention to my complaint about your company and the actions are laughable GODADDY! You aren’t to refund money to me. And then that means that still the owner of my domain and I have gone to the listing for sale part on the app of GODADDY, and I have tried numerous times to list my domain Rikkies Com for sale at the recommended sale price and it is saying that I am nearly there and I have even joined after nick to sell the domain so as I am happy to then stop my actions that I have drawn up to take GoDaddy to the small claims court, butyou are blocking my attempts to sell my domain and complete the domains sale listing? Tell me what you are doing this for ? You cannot have your cake and eat it too? I’m flummoxed by your lack of integrity and your lack of understanding about respecting your customers consumers rights ? Please tell me what you are at odds with on this TRUSTPILOT REVIEW? By looking at your own records of the account I first thought that I bought from you and then sadly realised that I was duped into thinking that I was paying a pound and paid 46 times more the amount for the Domain another 32 times more making it total 47 point 8 more you one pound then I have no access and I have to wait two days of my monthly payment gone for nothing? Then you take another week to allow me access with a link to my website and domain to list my items for sale I needed to upload to my domain etc so a week paid for nothing? I then found the site kept crashing and it would not upload any of my photos or descriptions of my items? I then tried to contact you again and again phoned you and kept on the line until my credit was about to expire more money wasted and then you ignore my emails any messages I had sent you? I cancelled stating I wanted a refund as it was not fit for purpose. Which is clearly the case in my case and in my opinion and that’s theopinion of legal experts and information professionals that I have asked for advice from.? And now you have the audacity and front to reply to my review with the pitiful asking for my further details about my TRUSTPILOT REVIEW OF YOUR COMPANY.?? Come on GODADDY? Really you are not making sense to me and I am sure any reader of my TRUSTPILOT REVIEW. You have a responsibility to look after your customers when they buy your products so why should you not have to look after my product that I have purchased from you? If you are not refunding my money you took from my account and without any permission from me I hasten to add. Then list the domain I still obviously have ownership of. You can not have it both ways godaddy so make up your mind refund me for my purchase in full or list my domain for sale please. And you have blocked my attempts to list my domain for sale time and time again so don’t be asking me to do so again list it for recommended price of £1200
Either way I will be happy refund my money back or respect my consumer rights and respect the responsibility you should have for your customers. You really ought to be ashamed of yourself but don’t poke your head in the sand just yet please and deal with my issues first. Thank

Non-functional "Airo" tool and Deceptive support loops—Avoid for business

As a professional who's administered four websites (WordPress and proprietary CMS), I'm rarely defeated by a "straightforward" tool. However, GoDaddy’s Airo system - which boasts "Build your site at the speed of AI; Getting your business online is hassle-free with Airo. Your website is ready in seconds with the magic of AI" - has proven fundamentally non-functional for basic tasks.

I am seeking a full refund for Airo and any amount charged for the related Microsoft 365 Essentials due to a complete failure to meet marketed standards and as the request fell within the 30-day full refund period.

Technical Failure: Despite my technical proficiency, I spent hours with "Internal Airo Help" who were unable to get even the semblance of a very simple non-e-commerce website. I have since had to hire a professional to build a functional site elsewhere.

Zero Consumption: The website has zero engagement; it has been accessed 49 times in total in 28 days: half by me in the first week trying to get it to work and half in the last week by the developer I hired to fix this mess. The Microsoft Essentials suite, only required to support the non-functioning website, is inert (unused for any business activity at all).

Deceptive Support Practices: I have repeatedly attempted to resolve this via the chat function on the weekend (apparently it is not supported then - useless to a small business, and the chat function did not advise of hours of operation) and then again today, only to be trapped in a deceptive loop. The system pings to ask if I am "still there," but when I respond, it pushes the wait time back—from 6 minutes to 8, then 11. This appears to be a deliberate tactic to exhaust customers and run out the clock on refund windows.

Deliberate lie? The GoDaddy Refund Policy (revised Feb 19, 2026) explicitly states that GoDaddy Airo™ AI Builder Annual Plans are refundable within 30 days (720 hours), unless content has been 'downloaded or exported.' As my site is non-functional and no content was ever uploaded and so could not be exported (the domains were only repointed), I am well within the 30-day window. Quoting a 7-day limit is a misrepresentation of GoDaddy's terms of service and an unfair practice under the Consumer Protection Act of my jurisdiction.

I will let you know if I get this issue satisfactorily resolved: until then, use extreme caution.
