Went out of their way to work around our builders, great customer service throughout

As I sit in a warm 1910 house with an almost soundless Samsung 16kw R290 nestled and virtually invisible in a flowerbed I can only be satisfied with choosing Econic.

Echoing pretty much everything I read in the other reviews. The best value quote, quick, more imaginative on positioning, visits from the right people to give me confidence that the installation team would be prepared for the job and adapt and deliver on time when on site. They were great and starting on a Tuesday had a working system for my wife’s family to visit on the Friday for the weekend. I only add that detail to emphasise my confidence. It was tight but they clearly understood a deadline and Chetan and his team didn’t shout or faff in it all. The system chosen at this point is working fine with only minor hiccups quickly resolved. This is a sweet spot in time to use econic to get your heat pump system. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I wholeheartedly recommend Econic, from Christoph's guidance, patience, and deep technical expertise, through to Andrew's clear and thorough heat assessment and Pradeep's professional and knowledgeable engineering, I think we found the best modern home heating and power engineers around. They upgraded our house in terms of clean performance and costs through a careful combination of insulation recommendations, air source heat pump installation and a battery, hooking up new underfloor heating and a existing solar system. They respecified our system without us asking for them to do so after the cold winter days, but before our installation, a clear demonstration of their commitment to excellent outcomes for their customers. I can only echo what most of these reviews say: Econic is a top-value company that doubtless do a better job of communicating with customers, sending hard-working engineers and using quality materials. Our Samsung 13 Kw heat pump was installed in the dead of winter, which of course made our house icy during the installation, but in the end it was worth it. We have a 4-floor, 240 m2 Victorian house, but the heat pump works fine and is meshed perfectly with the Tesla Powerwall 3 home battery. Now most of our energy usage will be at the lowest tariff (Cosy) with Octopus. Christoph and particularly Chetin and his crew were brilliant for scheduling, working long hours with only short breaks, politeness and expert workmanship, even though they had to replace more pipework than expected. We decided to have one new radiator now and see how the rest of the winter goes before deciding if we need any others. We're very glad we went with Econic rather than one of the big energy providers like Octopus for the switch to a heat pump.

These are incredibly hardworking and impressive people. They are engineers of the highest calibre and committed to cutting carbon use. Wholeheartedly recommended.

I am very impressed with Econic. They are a smooth operating machine, they patiently answer all sort of questions, and they get the job done with very high professionalism. They visited our house twice before the job: once to make calculations about heaters and recommend a specific heat pump, and once to figure out the details of the installation. Then they scheduled the install, and they arrived sharp at 8 am on the day and worked incredibly hard for 3 days to finish. They did a great job, including crawling under our floor in a tiny space, and replacing 3 radiators that were not up to par. And they took care of all the paperwork (e.g. to get the grant from the govt). I am very impressed. My only minor regret is that the external unit (12 kW) is a bit large for our tiny rear garden. But another company I had contacted earlier wanted to install an even bigger one (14 kW) so Econic was ahead of the competition even on this!

Excellent service from Christoph, Pradeep and the Econic team. From initial contact Econic have been professional and patient. As a self- build project, the timescales have had to be moved on several occasions and despite this, Econic have been very considerate and accommodating. Having a ASHP and full hot water system installed was daunting however Pradeep and Christoph have been informative every step of the way.

As the self-build project has not completed the team will be coming back to finish the external insulation once I am ready and for which I am grateful.

Would definitely recommend.

Good communicators, good planners, good workmen, good equipment, good after service. The difference now the heat pump is installed is tangible: our house is more evenly heated and we finally got rid of gas!

The team, from start to finish have been thoughtful and considerate! From walking me through heat pump options and installation routes, to fitting my new system and walking me through the instructions.

I am delighted I've used Econic after shopping around for heat pump installers. I even messaged the team on Christmas eve when moving in to get the system online again and they were prompt to troubleshoot everything.

We could not recommend Econic highly enough for anyone choosing to have a heat pump system installed.

A caring company who are passionate about the carbon free future. Helpful and informative. Their installers worked hard and we're flexible with our requirements.

I chose Econic because they did not insist on major modifications to the house such as converting the DHW system to pressurised or adding extra radiators; thus keeping costs down.

Installing an ASHP is a fairly lengthy job, during which the house is unheated - they provided efficient fan heaters for the duration.

The team were helpful and considerate and went to unusual trouble to leave the house exactly as they had found it. Due to a misunderstanding the system did not work initially. They quickly diagnosed the problem and came back on the Saturday to complete the job.

We now have a house consistently warmer than it used to be (without having to burn anything here!) and, after three days of running, the costs appear to be ok.

The team arrived as planned on the Monday morning and worked hard throughout each day and the system was ready to use on schedule early on the Thursday afternoon. Floor coverings were put down at the start and were definitely required as there was a lot of movement in and out of the bungalow with a lot of equipment and tools. It was all removed and clean at the end of the installation. It is currently all working fine but I will need to have at least a few weeks of use to gain experience of the system.

The team is very knowledgeable and specified a great heat pump system that is working well for our moderately insulated Victorian house. The installation went smoothly. The communication and organisation was good throughout. They were flexible and fitted round our renovations, which larger companies such as Octopus could not do. We spoke to 10 heat pump installers and did a lot of research ourselves before deciding to go with Econic. We are still confident they were the right choice.

After approaching other providers Econic Energy were easy to contact, responsive and knowledgeable . We have had an ASHP installed in our draughty Victorian semi in less than a week as the final step of eliminating gas from the house..
