We couldn’t have been more impressed
We couldn’t have been more impressed by Econic, from start to finish.
First, the survey was prompt (within days) and extremely well and clearly presented – the costs of installation, the potential savings of both money and CO2 with and without a battery. Everything was well explained. We discussed in detail where to put the heat pump and battery (for storing energy from the grid at off peak hours and potentially for future solar feed). We agreed to upgrade two radiators but didn’t need to replace anything else in the house.
The installation took four days – with just the first day without hot water for a few hours. Econic lent us heaters during the period. The Econic teams – both the electricians and heating plumbers – were terrific, all very efficient, super courteous, and left everything clean and organised at the end of the day.
Finally, we’re very happy with the operation of the heat pump and battery. The house – four storeys and not very well insulated (thin brick walls, not cavity) – is warm. The water’s hot. And the Apps to regulate the heat pump and the battery are clear and easy to use.
All in all, it is hard to imagine a better experience of installing a heat pump and battery.

I've had the heat pump for several…
I've had the heat pump for several months now and I'm very happy with everything about it. The hot water is always there and the house is always at the temperature you set on the thermostat. And my bills have gone way down.
Also, the installation was very professional. The garden where the heat pump is located was tidier when they left than it had been before they came.
Highly recommend Econic

This company is absolutely fantastic
This company is absolutely fantastic - not something I often say. From the initial contact to design, installation, commissioning and all the important bits of paper at the end, they were professional, knowledgeable, and on it. They communicated well, sorted everything from the EPC to the grant etc. From initial contact to commissioning was barely three weeks. A masterclass in how to do business. I could not recommend them more highly.
