After multiple orders placed on their site with no issues I finally experienced their terrible customer support service.
I've spent over 200 euros JUST on their online shop since I got new kittens and was planning on using them as my main supplier.
This particular order was for 17 cans of their Josera Kitten food. One of them wasn't smelling right, and when I opened it it all gushed out of the can - I obviously wasn't going to feed it to my cats - I threw it away and proceeded to call their customer support.
Now, that is when things because ludicrous. After 15 minutes waiting on the line, they proceed to tell me I have to now go grab that ONE can from the bin and take multiple pictures of it to then attached to an email. So they can confirm that IT SMELLS BAD! I don't know what kind of technology they have on their end (LOL) but I never heard of being able to smell pictures?!
Never mind me having to dig foul cat food out of a bin, take pictures, spend time writing emails.. just for a mere 2 euro can of food....
I wrote a extensive email to their support, voicing my concerns and questioning their policies and once again receive the most copy paste, AI bot nonsense message possible. Just rubbish.
They say it's to send to their supplier bla bla bla. The consumer cares not about what you need to do on your end. It's ONE 2 euro can of food. Just give the credit and move on. Having to be on the phone, take pictures, write emails.. and then wait a week? to get your mere 2 euros back.. is definitely something you're doing to discourage people from asking for refunds. Nothing else.
Saying that, I will never buy from you again.

The service is a disaster, no one is available by phone, they keep you on the line for several minutes and then disconnect! The app doesn't work properly, when you want to complete an order there are no visible payment options, not even PayPal, what incompetent people "take care" of the app and service?!?
P.S. Yes i am in Portugal, I live here!

Sent 5% voucher to non-existent address, ignored delivery failure e-mail, and refused to credit it afterwards to my €100+ order.

@Goldpet: Nice twist. Your "Customer Support Services" clarified nothing. They simply repeatedly refused my request for credit while claiming they couldn't apply the voucher retroactively, which I never requested. Goldpet is able to verify whether the e-mail address exists and whether it is delivered. These matters aren't beyond Goldpet's control and they don't only concern the customer's own e-mail service provider, as any e-mail service provider like Google notifies the sender if the e-mail isn't delivered. Nowhere during the checkout process of the order was any voucher communicated, otherwise I'd obviously have chosen to use it. I never requested you apply the voucher retroactively. I requested you credit the respective amount. You have the technical capability to do this. Nothing prevents you. Many businesses do it. You don't because you don't want to. I ordered 10+ kg of food. I don't plan on ordering more during the next 60 days (nor during the next 600 if this is how you handle customers with €100+ orders). No, you didn't manage to clarify the terms of use of the voucher, as they were already clear, but you did manage to clarify the type of business you are and where your priorities lie. Thank you for that.

I have never had a bad experience with Goldpet.
The products are great and delivered on time.
I only had one problem over a year and they fixed it immediately over WhatsApp.
Great store, where I can find everything that I need.

Really impressed with this company, they immediately keep me up to speed with my delivery, which was within a couple of days. Goldpet is my go-to company when I’m in the Algarve, they supply Advance Low purine food, which I cannot now get in the UK. So I always order several 12 kg bags to take back to the UK. I also ordered Advantix and it was cheaper than other companies. Their delivery is fast and their prices are very fair.

Ordered twice from them and both times my pet's food was not delivered on time. Customer support was, however, excellent in handling the situation.
Let's hope the third time hits the mark.
