I have not signed up with Gooten yet because they require you to have an online shop first before they will partner with you. However, so far the customer service I received have been very helpful, kind and friendly.

Gooten is an easy-to-use software, and they have a variety of well-made products.

Absolutely awful. I’ve used Gooten for years and have forgiven their horrible service every time (wrong products shipped, horrible quality, interface glitches, the works). But this year take the cake as well more than 50% of my holiday order was messed up and customer service didn’t care all that much to help. Response times from customer service teams take days and days and when you finally speak to someone it feels like they don’t care about fixing their mistakes at all. Soooo many other POD companies out there with growing product inventories that deserve your business more than Gooten.

Gooten is seriously the best. Best products. Best quality printing. Best customer service. I've only had 1 issue, and it was corrected immediately. If you're looking for a POD provider, they're hands-down the best.

Gooten has been my primary POD fulfillment company for my etsy store (selling tees, sweatshirts, hoodies and tumblers) for 1 year and now I am switching to other companies, because:

Order status transparency is low, especially when there are delays or issues, you have to email them to ask for updates. Email response time is typically 2-3 business days.

Their resolution to unexpected events (if massive volume during holiday seasons is considered unexpected) is slow - when I email to inquire about a delayed order, I was then informed that the order needs to be routed to another printing provider after 10 days in production and they cannot give even an estimate of when production will finish.

I could have used another company to fulfill the order during earlier stages of this order if they were more organized and transparent.

Integration with etsy is not perfect; tracking links do not always automatically sync to etsy when order is shipped, making it a manual job to complete orders in etsy. There were times when an order contains multiple items but only the first item was synced and sent to production. Close monitoring on every step is needed and automation is not yet possible.

Compared with other POD networks, they are not as flexible when you need to edit address / cancel order after order was placed. I wish the flow of information between Gooten and printing providers could be more timely.

Production takes longer than other POD platforms I used. Most orders can be shipped within their estimated time frame but they are not excellent if you are trying to build a brand or reputation with fast delivery.

Customer service is making an effort to be friendly and helpful but they are not involved enough to really help to solve issues. Generic answers are not helpful when issues arise. But seems to me what they are allowed to do is really that much only.

What is good about Gooten:

They have gildan 18500 hoodie in indigo-blue color.

Their standard international shipping is cheap.

The printable area on the back of a hoodie is big: 4500x5700px

They are quick to refund when there are printing errors.

You can adjust the placement of design on each size of the garment, one by one, though the design tool interface is not the easiest one to use and thus quite time consuming.

Terrible resolution when issues arrive. I have had an order at nearly a month of delay now due to multiple errors on their end. Customer service is extremely slow to respond and offers little resolution unless you make a bigger fuss. Once you think they’ve resolved it, more issues come up. I would caution doing business with them, it will negatively affect the reputation for your business.

*Update* Finally received a response, many apologies for the first error, but not the second and no resolution still. Sitting at a month of delay.

Gooten came through for me on an order that had a shipping problem. But thanks to their great staff, the issue was resolved very quickly!

Goods Shows delivered on tracking but actually not delivered/Received by the customer. This type of delivery need to be tracked and proof of delivery is a must. Each and every delivery has its own value and the customer relationship is a must and to be satisfied. Customer satisfaction is our business.

I requested information about the kind of ink Gooten uses for greeting cards. I got a great response from this company. The ink they use has the good fade resistance quality, I was looking for, and they will sell you one card, which enables you to check a sample, without getting 10-25 cards as most other POD companies require. The price of one matte, folded card, printed on two sides is $.70 and the shipping about $3.60 (cann't remember exactly). The cost goes down slightly for larger qualities, This company has the best reviews of the top ten I found online.
