Very well organised and Becky (manager), Mac (dep manager) and Fin were all very hands-on and showed huge (and appreciated) levels of care to the kids aged 8-11. Excellent communications both before and on the day. Paint pellets and guns are adapted for this age range (and obviously don't play against adults). Well built camp in the middle of the forrest allowed for multiple birthday parties to be held simultaneously but with enough space for everyone. Good toilet facilities. Also a shop/cafe on site.

We had a group birthday surprise which was managed by Benas and his team, they truly made the experience an unforgettable one! We genuinely had so much fun and would recommend as an ideal group activity.

I took my son and his friend here yesterday for a play date. They are both 10 years old. It was not clear to me when booking (and I would say it is very misleading ) that they would be in a group that included adults. Since I had selected 10-14 years I had assumed that they would be in a group where the maximum age is 14 years. It was only on arrival that it became apparent that the age group is ‘10+’ and the + means adults. Apparently ‘where possible’ teams will be organised based on age but obviously where bookings are limited as yesterday all customers are grouped together (the alternative being to cancel the bookings which I think should certainly have been offered in advance of our visit).

My son’s group was made up of only 8 players. This is nowhere near enough to make it fun. 3 of the players were adults and these adults were vaping in the seated area near the other 5 children. There was no signage to say that smoking/ vaping is not permitted and it was only when I raised this with staff that the adults were directed to the ‘fire-pit’ where smoking was allowed. This alone seems to support my view that it is not appropriate for children and adults to be in mixed groups unless it is a party situation where the children and adults are known to one another. I do not think there are many parents who would knowingly organise a play date which involved their children doing an activity with 3 unknown grown men. I am sure it was far from ideal for those adults as well.

We arrived before 11am (as we were told to arrive 15 minutes early) and there was a lot of hanging around both before the activity began (around 11.45 or just after) and between ‘missions’. I raised this with staff who said that the missions were shorter due to the small group size. There is just a lot of hanging around time compared with gaming time. I raised this and staff said that part of the activity is getting the kit on and buying the ammo. I would strongly disagree with this as it was actually fairly stressful grappling with the size of the helmet and belt and figuring out what to do with the paint balls. Help with these difficulties was provided upon request.

Unfortunately the seating area allocated to us was covered in paint on arrival (both the table and benches) and I was left to wipe it down with the blue paper towel and cleaner provided on the side. Not really any excuse for this since there had been no activity before ours and it began at 11am and at an event where prices are so high it’s not acceptable. The managers were at pains to stress to me that their view is that paintballing is a good day out but not a cheap day out. Unfortunately it was neither of these for us.

Staff on site were very keen to try to address the concerns I raised and seemed genuinely sorry that we were so disappointed although I had mentioned my intention to post a review online. The site manager sat down with me to discuss my concerns at length but my concerns remain such that I would like to highlight them as this information would have been very helpful to me prior to considering a visit.

Overall it was a very expensive day out which would be ok if it had been better but unfortunately it fell short in too many areas and the boys ultimately chose to leave early as they were not comfortable. The boys did find getting hit by paint balls painful and my son has a couple of visible bruises today although I would not have raised this if the occasion had delivered in all of the other areas.

What started as a random Tuesday just to try something different has now turned into a monthly tradition—and honestly, that says everything.
From the very first visit, the level of friendly service and the value for money have been outstanding. This isn’t just a one-off good experience—it’s consistent every single time.

Kait, who ran my last session, was brilliant and kept everything running smoothly while making it genuinely fun. But the real standout for me every time I come down is Amy in the paintball shop. She is an absolute credit to the team. It’s easy to greet customers—but remembering the small details about people and making every visit feel personal? That’s something else. Every time I walk past, she’s smiling and welcoming—no exceptions.

That kind of service is rare, and it’s exactly why I keep coming back.

If you’re thinking about giving this place a go—do it. You won’t just come once.

Had an amazing day today at Go Paintball. The entire experience was so fun and interactive and all the staff were brilliant the whole day. Dom especially was really attentive and made sure that we were having a great time throughout the day. Couldn’t recommend anything more than this. Well worth the money and the drive to get there.

I had my child’s 12th birthday party here. We had a paintballing party and from the moment I made an enquiry on the website the service was impeccable.

The WhatsApp chat made it so easy to ask questions and book the day and plan the event.

On the day the event was well organised - Adam our assigned leader was on top of everything. All the boys had a great day and I would recommend to anyone.

We had a great paintball party for an 11th birthday party - seamless and the kids had a blast!

Mel and Benas were great hosts and explained everything to the kids, as well as keeping adults informed of timings too.

We had my son’s 9th birthday party at the weekend and highly recommend.

The events team are amazing, all the kids were super engaged and listened carefully to the safety guidelines.

The children were taken off for their 3 rounds, they only came back to base camp where we waited at our allocated party table for two quick breaks and then their food at the end.

Facilities were amazing, clean toilets, the shop had drinks (cold and hot) and snacks to buy whilst waiting for the children at base camp enjoying the peace and quiet.

Super easy, hassle free party which every kid loved and have had nothing but positive feedback from the parents!

Will definitely be back for another party.

We have been here 3 times for birthday parties and the boys just keep on wanting to come back. Its so great to see them having fun off screens outside and not to have any mess at home to clean up afterwards! Everything was well organised with a lovely, engaging, dynamic team. Thank you!

I recently went for a solo adventure in the Surrey branch with Mel running the event. The staff were so sweet and so kind! They kept Instructions clear and all the staff were super helpful with any questions you might have. Being alone I thought okay how will this pan out, but I was happy to say the whole team were supportive and encouraging, always checking in to make sure I was okay and I could see them doing checks with others too! Great day out and lovely staff! Some of the staff names I can remember were Poppy, Sophie and Joe!
I will be coming back.

Spent the day at Go Paintball today! The staff were amazing even in the cold weather! Shout out to everyone who helped us today especially Kaitlin who ran our event! Definitely recommended and will be coming back.

Came here with my friends last week and what can I say… WOW! I’ve been paint-balling at other places and nothing compares to here, there kit is well looked after and the staff are constantly smiling and just happy to help! You definitely feel well looked after. 100% recommend

We came here for my friends birthday and were very disappointed.

First of all there is a high safety risk as the suits have zero padding and most of them have holes. If you get shot, it hurts very bad and leaves bad bruises. The helmets are dirty and fog really badly which makes it extremely hard to see. Also it's impossible to tell who is on whose team from a distance, so you can easily end up shooting your own teammates.

Also a big problem is cheating which was happening all the time. 9/10 times if someone gets shot they won't go out and the game leader won't punish them in anyway. Which honestly makes sense because when you are out, you are supposed to put your hand up and go back to spawn but you will probably get shot 4-5 times while you walking there which really hurts.

Overall I would never recommend coming here. The only good thing are the maps which are pretty good but that's it.

Also I've noticed something very suspicious about the reviews on Google Maps. When I looked at all the positive reviews I have noticed that they looked as if they were written by AI. I run the top 4 through an AI detector and they were all 100% AI.

Fantastic staff with great knowledge, great location and a very immersive venue with a great variety of game modes and playing zones.

The pricing is very reasonable with a great selection of upgrades on equipment. Sales of upgrades, and options was clearly explained but we did not feel forced into any purchases made.

The games were fun and immersive on well thought out playing maps, and the equipment offered is state of the art and well maintained.

Overall we had an epic day on the battlefields and will return in the near future.

The staff were fantastic and extremely welcoming! Will definitely be coming back soon!!
