I recently completed on my first home using Gough Thorne who was recommended to me by my partner. From onboarding through to completion Hannah kept me informed and made everything straight forward. I initially thought the entire process would be a stressful one but it was the complete opposite of what I was expecting as Hannah, Manisha and the team made it easy for me! The online portal made it simple to track progress, i received a consistent flow of information where needed, i had no issues receiving email responses and was able to speak to the team on the phone as and when required. I found the staff to be friendly and approachable and noted that when asked questions they were able to answer and explain exactly what I needed! I would highly recommend Gough Thorne and I will most definitely use again when the time comes :)

Was an absolute pressure working with Rakesh from GT! I would highly recommend...

I can’t be happy enough with the service. They were on the ball throughout the sale and purchase of the properties. If I needed some help with the paperwork they were always friendly and patient with me. I dealt with a lady called Hannah most times and she was very efficient and helpful. I am very pleased with the service and if needed I will be using Gough Thorne in the future.

Gough Thorne made our property purchase so much easier for us! They were really on the ball, communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process. Rakesh (Andrews Team) has been brilliant. As an anxious first time buyer, doing it all by myself. I couldn't have asked for more support. He's replies same day or the next day. I have probably been a nightmare 🙈 I emailed him nearly daily in the beginning because I have no clue how the process is. He did then give me a quick walk throughs and he explained it as we went along as I wouldn't be able to take it all in 😅
He always answers my questions and queries. He keeps you informed about the updates and processes which is very helpful and helps put me at ease, knowing where we are at. So even when the bill came. It came out nearly double the price than quoted but, I knew those tasks were done as he has updated me along the way and things did become more, I guess, complex and added services/tasks on...
He's efficient, reliable and knowledgeable. His accurate estimates shows that he's experienced and it's useful because you know what you're waiting for how long ish?
He also is trustworthy as he knows what to check (because apparently, some you need to prompt and don't do certain bits which I wouldn't even know so basically, he does what needs doing) and how to translate the legalese into simplified terms.
Surprisingly, he has been very patient with me and not annoyed at all 😅 especially at the end, where I felt bad having everything rushed but due to delays, I honestly just wanted keys so the stress can go away 🙈
I'm very thankful for his support during this sale. Especially when in the beginning, a broker tried to scam me and it scared me on who to trust....
Most communication was through email due to my work schedule but I did go see him twice and he explained the contract bits which I obviously didn't understand. He also called when he just needed an answer to e.g. go ahead or felt the need to explain the exchange and completion process because I was getting confused but that was out the window when I rushed it and did it together on the same day, giving them only three days(which was only because the lender needed a min of 3 days, I didn't know and just asked for next day 😅). He just got on with it and kept me informed about timings.
The offer was accepted in September due to delays which wasn't anyones fault. It just added paperwork time. First DOV then the extra parking title deed.
My fixed mortgage is only two years, if I do choose to move/upgrade. I hope he wouldn't mind, if I ask for him 🙈 but for now he's free 😜
P.s. I was lucky there was no chain too and the sellers have been responsive too. We had maybe two blips/bumps but that's about it

Manraj and his team was very pleasant and efficient once the task was started.
I did find their online system to be good and the lack of posting or got to office A Or B very good. Just a simple upload on a secure server gave me confidence on not everything being lost in the email thread

Update.: had to downgrade due to company forgetting to add my help to buy and now having to process though there complaints procedure
