I have made many orders and spent quite a bit of money at Goulet Pens, and I am a very satisfied customer. My orders are consistently shipped quickly, accurately, and safely (items are always secured, and I have experienced no breaks or leaks). I had one issue with a pen I ordered a while back (there seemed to be a defect with the cap of the pen, so every time I screwed the cap on, it would cause a misalign with the nib and feed). Customer service initially tried to help me correct the issue, but when it was clear that it was not something I could fix, they issued me a prompt refund. Goulet Pens has great service and I will continue to order from them frequently!

I ordered a Visconti HS fountain pen from Goulet after finding their blog and seeing their obvious enthusiasm for all things pen. I knew some of the Visconti pens have quality control issues, and with that in mind I bought a demo pen with a slightly modified nib. The choice worked out well and the pen is reliable. Service was quick and with the cost of the pen, shipping was free. I will certainly return.

The HS is a very smooth pen to write with. The quarter-turn twist cap is clever and I am used to the unusual reservoir and filler. This pen requires more deliberation than the many competing fountain pens that take cartridges but that’s part of its charm.

I returned to fountain pens this year after a long hiatus. I make my living from words and written communication, and in the pandemic I resolved to improve my penmanship.

While I could obviously do that with a ballpoint or rollerball, the fountain pen demands a level of care and it is satisfying to use. I like to think my penmanship actually is improving, too.

I have ordered several times over a 5 year period. Every order was quick to ship out and always correct. Their prices on Rhodia graph paper notepads are the best I've found anywhere. I have learned to shop here first because I never have difficulties with my order. I can count on these people.

I've bought from them several times, but I don't find their pricing for inks to be competitive. My most recent purchase was for a premium fountain pen which clearly has the wrong size nib. I sent it back, and they claim it is correct, but would accept it for a restocking fee. No, just return it to me. Don't know what they did, but now the nib is much worse, very scratchy. I'll have to send it off to get the nib reworked now. They have forever lost my business.

An excellent ink selection and the opportunity to try everything as samples made things much easier for my husband and I who use ink everyday. Fair prices, interesting way to sort out their inks (brands, colors, finish etc). Fast shipping, good communication and well packaged inks. They did a great job and I will definitely buy again from their company.

I ordered my pens from India...a pilot vanishing point and a Conklin limited edition .....the ordering was smooth...the website was informative....with all colour options and nib sizes clearly mentioned ....recieve them well packed and well in time...! The pens were recieved jn mint condition ....thank you

Bought a Lamy pen and a few bottles of ink from them. Shipping was fast and their prices are competitive. Their customer support is also great with quick responses.

First time (but not last time) customer: Ordered a Diplomat wooden desk pen/ink case, some stationary, and envelopes. Everything arrived as expected without any unfortunate surprises. What prompted this brief review was the personal touch added to the package: notes from Brian, Rachel, Jamilia, and Ellie (even with the added lollipop). Great first impression!

I see alot of people complaining about their customer service, I'm thinking they may have had a different representative than I got. I ordered a pen a day before Fountain Pen Day and missed free shipping by about 2 hours without realizing it. I was more than willing to accept it and move one but they sent a gift card for the full amount of shipping to my email and made it more than right.

The shipping can take a while but that's on USPS rather than the company itself. The products have all been great and exactly what I expected. The sticker and tootsie pop in each box are neat too.

I have mixed feeling about this company, I think it does a fantastic job having such an absolutely wide range of products: moreso than any other company that I've been finding.

However, one of the samples I ordered was clearly incorrect. Mind you it was an inexpensive sample at $2 or so, but judging by other reviews it seems this has happened before. When I contacted them by email, they simply stated that the nib sizing may make it look different than what they have on the site / or the shimmer isn't as apparent as it might seem.

However I've definitely purchased it before, and it was definitely incorrect. I even used a cotton-swab on paper method that they use to showcase on the site, but it was a very different ink with no shimmer.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe they didn't shake the bottle before pouring out a sample, so I got a portion of it that had no shimmer / color variation.

They absolutely do not stand by what they sell. I received a pen with a manufacturing defect that made it unusable. They essentially shrugged and then stopped responding to my email.

I have bought two pens and several bottles of ink form them, and I have always been very impressed with their products and service. The level of service that they provide is almost unheard of these days. Plus, there instructional videos on youtube are excellent.

Ordered a $300 pen, was defective with flow issues and scratchiness. They refused to take it back so now I am stuck with a defective pen which will take months to get back from repairs. I can’t sell it and get my money back because Goulet charges top dollar for everything, and I can’t just sell a broken pen for full price like they did and get away with it, or bring myself to do that to someone else. Like some of the other reviews say, these people do not stand by their product. Not only that, but they actually deleted my review on their website detailing my issues with the product and customer service.

They are an authorized retailer, so you will get authentic products. The website is decently ordered and efficient to find whatever product your searching. Ordering and payment is easy and secure. They shipped quickly, and packed my items securely.
Goulet Pen Company is one of many great pen retailers. If they have whatever item you want at the price your willing to pay, do not hesitate to give them your patronage. I surely will.

Look, if you are looking to purchase from Goulet Pens, do it. They are the first place I went to to buy my first fountain pen and learn how to use it (A black pilot metro with a bottle of oxblood ink Diamine). They are one of the very few businesses who make it personal start to finish, especially if you got a defective product. I purchased the limited edition Pelikan 405 white tourtus I believe it was called, and it had a seemingly invisible fracturing on the grip that I didn't notice until I put diamond Poppy red in it. The whole process took 5 days start to finish with a wonderful customer service agent. Not to mention they pack everything with care, along with a hand written note and sucker! You will love the product you get, but know that they are a distributer, that means they have no control over the quality of the product they receive, including the smell (which they disclose before hand). In conclusion, they are a wonderful company who will be receiving every cent of my pens savings!

They have a Youtube channel about everything, from product releases to updates on their office/warehouses. They are awesome people to deal with, and are extremely helpful with customer service. I bought a TWSBI from them a while back with a badly cut nib (fault of TWSBI's nib supplier, not them), and they offered a full replacement regardless of if I had used it yet or not. Their QC is pretty stellar compared to somewhere like Amazon, and they are very good with dealing with any product/shipping issues from my experiences.

You can never go wrong with them, Goulet Pens is A++.

I have watched the Goulet videos on YouTube for a few years. I thought it was "just a guy" who sold a few pens..wrong.
The Goulet Pen company is a well oiled machine with the worlds absolute best customer service and true expertise.
They have the best selections, reasonable prices - ship at an amazing speed and they package things with an amazing degree of care.
They are also really NICE people.
This is the only place to buy from.

Sent me a defective pen, and refuse to honor their policy on returns or refunds. customer service was passive-aggressive and not accommodating. They should have just asked me to donate, with all the money that I would need to spend to process a return
