My agent helped me get a great trip planned, but he set an unrealistic expectation.

He kept stating that my clients could book a trip with airfare for a $1200 deposit and when it came time to pay the deposit was almost $12k. He failed to tell me that airfare was due upfront.

Then after he began to work on the trip he told me that my clients still owed for the domestic transfers, which was another 4300.

This was a total sticker shock and of course my client spiraled, but they are booked and all is well.

I just suggested when providing a quote, breakdown what is actually required (cost wise) to get the client booked.

Working with Michael at Goway travel truly made our trip to Dublin and Southern Ireland a memorable experience. After sifting through all our travel ideas, Michael put together a package that was beyond expectations for Ireland. Michael supplied us with a daily itinerary and admission passes to our selected venues. We also ask for a driver for some of the outlying areas. Our driver, John was very friendly and outgoing and helped fill in some empty time slots. He kept us on schedule and offered us options for restaurants and events that were local. Our trip to Ireland was an outstanding adventure thanks to Micheal.

This was my 8th safari with Goway. The trip was seamless with all flights and transfers going smoothly. Bijal understands what we are looking for and is able to deliver an excellent package checking all of our boxes.
I would not hesitate to recommend Bijal and Goway for your Safari experience.

My experience with GoWay Travel was the worst experience ever! The individual I had to deal with lacked communication skills and a understanding of what I asked of her. She was unable to tailor our itinerary suitable to our needs and wants. Specifically, we told her we only wanted to stay at Labadi Beach 2 nights. She said okay and would call us back to confirm things. She never called back but had the travel agent call saying we owed another $900 plus and it wasn't the itinerary we asked for. When we finally spoke back to her she lied and said the hotel we asked for was fully booked and Labadi was much nicer. Both were lies! Additionally, when we told her we were not paying an additional $900 plus as we had already paid thousands, she got it down to $500 and then $300. In conclusion, GoWay Travel are dishonest and cannot be trusted.

We began planning our first international trip with one agent and then unexpectedly were switched to a second agent. Our trip was complicated as it was all customized and involved multiple countries and modes of transportation. Jamil Jarvis, our new agent, spent time chatting with me about my concerns and answered all of my questions about travel. We reviewed the travel document in great detail and made sure all the timing of events was accurate. He took care to make sure things would go smooth. We had a great trip and would use Goway again. Great hotels, great tours, an overall great experience despite having the unexpected change in agents. I will reach out to Jamil to book another trip.

We had a great experience with Jacqueline! She was so understanding and accommodating with additions to our reservation. She paid attention to details and secured all of our tours. It was an stress-free experience. I was so glad we booked our Rome and Florence vacation with GoAway. Jacqueline was awesome. Will do it again :)

I experienced extremely poor communication with customer service and the travel specialists. After a last-minute flight cancellation during our tour, I sought guidance but received no support. I had to rebook my flight at a significant cost and pay for an Uber to transport my family to a neighboring town. I even reached out to the airline that originally canceled our flight and successfully obtained a refund, which was sent directly to GoWay. However, they have yet to give me my refund, despite my providing receipts and communication from the airline confirming where the money was refunded. Throughout our travel and even a week after, I received no communication from my travel specialist after sending the necessary receipts and information. This level of service is completely unacceptable.

Allan Birkett, made my experience with Goway Travel absolutely great. I pointed a group of friends earlier this year in Allan's direction, but their plans fell through. He'd done quite a bit of research in getting that trip together. He was very knowledgeable in his suggestions and feedback. He was extremely patient even though the trip didn't happen. I had an incredible trip in Medellin Colombia. In fact I wish I was still there. My driver Orlando and guide Patricia were patient, kind, knowledgeable, on time (and practically every day, early!) and made the trip super welcoming and comfortable for me.

I also had a full day food tour with Mateo who was great and took me to multiple different restaurants, markets, shops and was quite pleasant, also very knowledgeable about Medellin and Colombia.

I literally have nothing negative to say - from start to finish everything was perfect. I'd happily recommend Patricia or Mateo to other travelers. I felt safe, understood, and they wanted me to see as much as possible.

Venice for 8
After a custom designed tour of Puglia with Goway groups, eight of us ladies decided to discover the wonders of Venice. Allan Birkett did a fantastic job assisting me in order to meet individual needs. With two separate bookings no less, we crafted itineraries to include accommodations, guides and experiences to peek everyone’s interest and delight. Allan’s knowledge of the properties, their locations, and their amenities made hotel selection a breeze. He booked high-speed trains, mini-vans, water taxis, and more to make our travel from Rome to Venice to Milan a pleasure. And of course, gondola rides on the canals are included! Working with Allan is such fun. He is very detail-oriented and organized which bodes extremely well for the last leg of our Italian adventure.
