Please beware-
I posted an honest review several days ago and in two days this site has been flooded with positive reviews bumping my review down the list.
I am not alone in this observation.
Thankfully those mistreated or having had a bad experience from this company can rest assured knowing that anyone looking on here PRIOR to using ‘Gr8 Mobile’ will hopefully read bad reviews first, and are less interested in those positive ones all written in the same way, clearly doctored by the company themselves. Please do be wary, I’ve had a terrible experience with the company and the truth needs to be made clear.

My phone was so smashed and cracked everywhere, still stuck with the first price they gave me! Absolutely brill

SCAM DO NOT USE THIS SITE I WAS OFFERED 99£ MY FHONE CONDITION WAS BROKEN AS IT HAD A CRACKED SCREEN THEY OFFERED ME £ 17.50 AT THIS TIME THEY ARE TEFUSING TO GIVE THE FONE BACK CLAIMING I HAVE TO PAY THEM AND AFTER SENDING THEM SCREEN SHOTS OF THE FREE RETURNS THEY SAID I LIED ABOUT CONDITION I STATED IT WAS BROKEN BUT THEY ARE STILL REFUSING TO RETURN I EVEN WENT ON THERE SITE AFTER AND GOT A NEW QUOTE SAME FONE SAME CONDITION AND THE OFFERED ME £121 😆 THEY ARE A SCAM DO NOT USE !!!!!! after submitting this review i was contacted by the company a few weeks later saying they had looked in to my experiece and they were not satisfiyed with the service i was provided i was then offered compensassion for my experience which i was very grateful for, and as a sign of my gratitde for the unexpected gesture i have decided to update my review my experience wasnt the best but thats not to say everyone will have the same troubles i did.

Sold my iPhone 13 Pro Max in 'Broken' condition for £230 which I was pleased with. Posted it and a few days later receive an offer for £67.50, a whole £162.50 less than originally offered. After rejecting the new offer, I got the "My manager has authorised a price of £88" thing... Then after rejecting that, I was informed return postage is £8.95 which I reluctantly paid to get my phone back asap. My phone's condition met their description, it was fully functional with battery health above 80%, etc... Even the front screen and camera glass was in perfect condition, just the back glass was smashed. I was using my phone until a couple weeks ago when I upgraded to the newest iPhone. I received my phone back today and the back glass is in noticeably worse condition (I took before pictures) so I have sent an email and I will see what they say to that. I fear that this company preys on people that need the money by sucking them in with a high original offer, only to significantly lower the price once in their custody.

- After reading my review, a member of Gr8 Mobile's customer service team got in contact with me to apologise for my bad experience and offered £50 compensation for this; which wasn't conditional on me removing or amending my review. I, of course, accepted this offer and got the money the same day. I honestly would have preferred that they just bought my phone off of me for the original £230 agreed, but I can't complain so much at being £41.05 better off. I have not amended my original review (above) as that still was my experience and I would still probably recommend people avoid, as this likely would not have happened without my negative review.

I went to their website to check if they are actually giving a good price to people. I checked my iPhone 14 pro 1TB’s price which is in perfect condition and the price they gave me was £265…

Don’t listen to their adverts on social media. They’re scamming people.

They’re comparing their company to cex and stating that cex will give us a terrible price. When in reality cex will give us a way better price.

Clear instructions. Very efficient and stick to their word and settle the agreed amount on time.

Updated constantly with what is happening and fast payment

Amazing!! I really wasn’t expecting much for my old phone but Gr8 mobile gave me the best deal it was quick and easy I would definitely recommend and I will be using them again in the future

Be very aware of this business. They go in with a high offer and then make a derisory offer once 'inspected' hoping that the hassle involved will make you accept. It's obviously part of the business model. Didn't work.with me. Be very wary.

Went online and was quoted 250 for my damaged phone upon inspection they agreed to the price and the money was transferred into my account the next day of them receiving it
It was all straight forward and simple they send u the packaging all u have to do is put the phone in and take it to ur local post office simple 5*

Did exactly what they said they would. Phone worth £0 on o2 Recycle and got £130 with a smashed screen. Great service.

Really not good , I was quoted £59 for my “broken iPhone XR” which I thought was good , posted off my phone and few days later they received it and I got told they would check it. The next day they came back to me with an offer price of £10 I rejected the offer , they came back with a new offer of £20 I asked if I could get a bit of a higher price than that . Sent so many emails but still no reply for a week. I feel like I’ve got scammed and no one is going to message me back. I would not recommend this website at all as they’re not reliable. I don’t know whether I can get my phone back or not and if they are going to pay me.

Quoted 110 when they received the phone they lowered it to 30 even though I sent the phone as broke. Anyway

Received a revised offer for an iPhone SE which was a lot lower than the original quote. Stated battery was below 85%, and if it was below that level then it would be only just. Rejected the first offer and within minutes they came back with an improved offer, stating they had discussed it with their manager confirming approval had been given to up the cost. Although it was still lower than the initial offer I decided to accept, however, it is very disappointing that they do not give you the true cost of what the phone is actually worth when they carry out their first inspection of it. Two family members sold their exact same mobiles to another company after I informed them not to use Gr8 Mobile, and they received a better payout than myself, the phones were the same age as mine but would have been used more often than my one so the condition might have been no better if not worse. When checking their website to buy more or less the exact same mobile from them they are selling it for approximately triple the price they gave me. My recommendation would be not to use this company

Great communication, service and a great price for my old phone, paid in a few days straight into my bank account!

Update: Contacted citizen advice consumer, due to no contact and not answering the phone.

I sold my phone to the company, unfortunately was lost via Royal Mail. Understandably this isn’t the company fault. However the lack of customer service has been shocking. I’ve sent proof of postage as requested and told I would expect an outcome within 30 days. This week, I’ve emailed 4 times, called twice with no answer, and one of the days being Friday where I called at 3:15, kept ringing for nearly hour. I googled their hours and noticed that they closed at 4pm, so quite obvious everyone has gone home instead of answering customer calls that are waiting.

I wouldn’t mind but when raising a claim and selling the phone, they was responding to my emails within 24 hours and now I’m chasing for payment as they claimed £150 for my missing parcel I’m getting no communication!

Fantastic!! The amount they offered was what I received. Unlike other sites they didn't try to reduce amount. I was very sceptical because my phone had been dropped and one corner was quite badly damaged. I would highly recommend Gr8 Mobile to everyone.

Sent in my iPhone because it said that I would at least get £96 for a broken phone. In reality it worked perfectly just needed a new screen. They offered me £22.50 which I refused. I could potentially replace the screen and sell for £300. But now I am still waiting for them to return my iPhone.
