Grad City is Overrated!
Grad City is possibly one of the worst travel agencies I have ever dealt with. We recently completed a trip to Punta Cana Hard tock through Grad City. Our friends booked the same trip, directly through the resort and paid substantially less and received more “resort credit”.
The property was open to the public, which was not disclosed to any of the parents in any meeting.
The security measures were sub par.
The hotel was without water for a day and no one in 2 buildings were able to shower or flush.
Our group was ill after eating there the second day. When the adults complained about the food and explained that we were sick. Grad City asked us if we had eaten “off property” or even better, if we had had “too much to drink?”
Not once was there any question or concern, nor were medical options or advice offered. They simply told us we could purchase Imodium at the gift shop.
As we sat in our rooms without water, vomiting and with diarrhea for days on end, not one Grad City staffer checked on any of us.
They were advised of our complaints and concerns and none were addressed.
Lastly, the resort was unaccomodating to any request. No extra pillows, no coke products, no dietary restrictions, no food was allowed to go back to the room in containers, room service is limited to less than 6 items. We saw roaches in restaurants, we had terrible service and were denied seating in restaurants with MANY open tables.
I have never been treated so poorly by a hotel chain and travel company before.
I do not recommend either Grad City nor Hard Rock.
We all came home with parasites and are being treated with antibiotics.

Not sure what they did for our HS…
Not sure what they did for our HS spring break trip to Punta Cana in 2019.
Check in was a mess.
Restaurant reservations were nearly non existent on day one (even though most restaurants are 40-50% booked if you go in them).
Overall, I have been on many nice vacations where the travel partner added to the trip. Unfortunately, GradCity was not a value add. I would not use them to book any trip.

The worst trip experience of my life
The worst trip experience of my life. Everything that they tell you is completely a lie. The other students and activities are a LIE. The workers are arrogant and act like they are too important or too busy to help you. Anything they promise as a reason to book a trip through them is not worth it. Or they did not do what was on the itinerary. You should plan a trip on your own because you will end up paying much more than the package price originally listed through Student City.
This company is the WORST company to entrust your children with. The first thing their representatives do is LIE to you and your children. They sell the kids on trips that are suppose to be the BEST trip they will ever have. They give information that kids would want to hear, but not what they NEED to hear. They don't tell the kids that the prices can change, they don't tell the kids that the trip is non refundable until after they have made their last payment. The transportation to excursions are YOU paying for an UBER and them paying you back in cash. Not good business, Very shady. The excursions on you trip are lies. I would NOT have paid any money for my son to go on a trip with GradCity. They will not refund my money or a portion of it, I will NEVER endorse this company because the way they operate is sleazy and manipulative. They are the worst company to allow your children to do business with.

Insanely Great Trip
We traveled with Grad City in April 2016 and had the time of our lives! Grad City and their staff were professional and organized throughout the entire trip. Thank you for taking such great care of your travelers!
Most Amazing Experiance
It was the best spring break I could have asked for with amazing friends.
Cancun, Mexico
I had the time of my life on my senior spring break and going with gradcity made it even better. One thing I liked most about going with gradcity is that I had access and a ride to great clubs in the city that people who didn't go through gradcity did not have.
Most amazing time so far in my life
I loved this trip! Being with my friends in PI, Bahamas for about a week with no obligations at all was amazing. The grad city events were extremely fun. The hotel was amazing. The services that Grad City provide were also great; they were very understanding of what a bunch of teenagers on spring break in the Bahamas wanted to do. Would highly recommend this trip to any of my friends.
kid friendly!
We went to cancun last springbreak with grad city. The company was awesome. They were organized and had plenty of activities planned for our young adults. They did a great job keeping track of people and giving them their space too. I would recommend grad city for your springbreak tour company.
