After browsing the internet, we reached out to the team where seeking an electric blind solution for two triangle-shaped windows at home. Very much needing a bespoke solution for the shapes involved. The resulting pre-sale, survey, design proposal and installation process and experience with the team was excellent. Turnaround time was very good and we are very happy with the result that was also at a fair price for the requirements.

Grand design blinds are hands down the best company we’ve dealt with since knocking down and rebuilding our house. They are total experts, and this was clear at the beginning.
Having gotten quotes from other providers of bespoke blinds, I found they weren’t as knowledgeable, couldn’t answer a lot of my questions because they were sales people, not technical, or because it wasn’t really as bespoke as they were suggesting. A lot of companies specialise in gable ends, and awkward shaped windows, but being an expert is another level up. Nick was extremely knowledgeable from our first conversation, honest about the things that weren’t physically achievable, and provided solutions to problems. I’d have liked the price to be less but then I’d also have been nervous about going with the competition! They didn’t disappoint, communication was excellent throughout from Nick and also Clare in the office. Adam the fitter took absolute pride in his work, making sure everything was done properly and not rushed, a return visit was made for snagging and Adam checked over everything again. We’re 4 months in from install, our electric blinds are excellent quality, and compliment the house beautifully.

Very clever solution for odd shaped windows! Blinds go up rather than down powered by an electrical motor. When folded down, they are virtually invisible.

Also lovely people to deal with. Plus - it is a British product, hurray!!

We're very pleased with our large motorised skylight blind which was neatly fitted within the time specified. Grand Design staff were pleasant and efficient.

We have a floor to ceiling oak gable end in our bedroom - very nice but it faces east so early morning sun in the summer, means light shining directly in your eyes.

We've been reticent about getting blinds since we love the oak and didn't want horrible blinds or curtains to cover it either at night or during the day.

Grand Design Blinds have fitted 5 motorised blinds within the 5 different sections of oak. Yes, you can see the blinds when they're not in use, but they're not that intrusive and they still leave the oak as the main feature when the blinds are down and when they're up.

And they work. Instant darkness. We got the blackout ones.

The comms with the office were good, Adam and his colleague who came to measure also came to fit and they listened and gave good advice. The wire routing was thought about and discussed and it all looks good.

After they were fitted we noticed a cord sticking which was discussed and they came back and sorted it out.

The blinds themselves work nicely and we're happy.

I would highly recommend Grand Design Blinds. The surveyors and fitters Adam and Matt were excellent and full of suggestions, nothing was too much trouble. Nick and Clare kept me informed at all times and were very helpful with all my questions.

I came across Grand Design Blinds looking for some bespoke blinds to be made for our windows which were irregular shapes.
The team were really fantastic in responding and giving initial guidance, not at all pushy with visits on site trying to 'sell' and just listened and made valuable suggestions.
Once we were happy with initial ideas they visited our house and made several great suggestions, talked through options and how things would look and work. We selected fabrics and they were above and beyond requesting samples outside of their standard offering to help us gain a greater insight and ensure we were making the right choices.
Once quotes came back they were in line with initial expectations set and we decided to proceed.
Although there was a slightly longer lead time for making the blinds than we anticipated they worked hard to ensure things were delivered on time.
The fitters arrived on time, were very friendly and did an excellent job.
They spent time with us showing us how everything worked, talked about some possible challenges with regular usage and how to rectify them.
They left everything clean and tidy and did a very professional job.
I would happily recommend them.

The guys on site we really thorough, knowledgeable and the installation was neat, tidy and done very quickly.

The whole process of ordering and installing our blinds was seamless. The team were incredibly patient and supportive and Adam was extremely knowledgeable when measuring up which helped us make our final decisions. Adam also installed the blinds along with Matt. They were a pleasure to have in our home, very efficient, courteous and tidy. We were so pleased with the service we have ordered more blinds!!

From the very beginning the whole Team has been very helpful and supportive, Nick and Claire to organise the work, suggesting good options, managing the process. Never being pushy selling their products. They tried hard to meet my dates, very responsive on emails, always kind and polite.
Adam visited for the first survey and installation, he is simply the most patient person ever! Competent and qualified. On the day of the installation he came accompanied by Mat, who has also proven himself to be very professional yet patient as well. These two guys are simply the best!
Overall, despite these blinds are expensive, Grand Design Blinds deserves every penny. On the day of the installation it was possibly one of the hottest day of the summer in London, Adam and Mat stayed until late to complete the work and allowing the time to clean, they left my house in pristine condition.
Thank you SO much Nick, Claire, Adam and Mat for your politeness and efficiency! You are such a great Team indeed!

Excellent service, excellent installation from Adam. No pressure from the team to sell, we went back and forth with them over a period of time until we were ready. the solution was exactly what we were after and they kept us informed throughout on delivery times and installation dates. Would highly recommend their blind solutions.

Great service - really knowledge team who came up with a great option for a tricky gable end window which wasn't symmetrical!!!
The end product looks fantastic and doesnt impact the space at all - we are so pleased with them.
