Our treatment specialist, Jamie Haviland, is an efficient, friendly, professional guy who has looked after our lawn for some years now. Our location is not great (300 years ago our garden was under the sea) so maintaining our lawn is a challenge. We do not expect miracles but Jamie does his best to keep us looking as good as possible.

Just had a visit from Ian, who is a lovely friendly man with vast experience of lawns, he treated my lawns and gave advice on what I could do to improve patches where animals had urinated, also identified other issues I could improve. A great ambassador for Green Thumb.

I have received very good service from this company over the past 5 years, during which time I have paid a £30 monthly direct debit for regular lawn treatments.
However, I understand the company has recently changed ownership, and since then I have experienced a number of issues. Earlier this year, I had difficulty getting treatments carried out despite making multiple calls and sending several emails. During this time, I did however receive frequent contact attempting to sell me additional services.
Last week, I received their usual email and SMS notification advising that a treatment was due and requesting access, which I provided. Their representative attended at the scheduled time and carried out what we assumed to be the normal treatment.
I was therefore very surprised to subsequently receive an email stating that this treatment was not covered under my plan, along with an invoice for £157. At no point did I request or authorise any treatment outside of my agreed plan, and I consider this to be unacceptable.
I would like this matter reviewed and resolved promptly. I look forward to being contacted by a manager. Failing that, I will have no option but to escalate the matter to Trading Standards.
2rd July - Received an acknowledgement, but has anyone been in touch yet . I’ve heard absolutely nothing. They must be busy with a lot of complaints

Dear GreenThumb Customer Support,
I write further to my previous correspondence, to which I have received no response.
Over the past five years, I have paid a considerable amount for your services. I was content to do so because the service was previously seamless and of a consistently high standard. Unfortunately, the changes I have already highlighted over recent months represent a significant and unacceptable decline in both service quality and customer care.
Most concerning is the issuing of invoices for services that were never authorised. The absence of any retraction or apology in relation to this matter is wholly unacceptable.
As previously communicated, I have now terminated my agreement with immediate effect and cancelled my direct debit.
Furthermore, I will be escalating my experience, specifically in relation to the unauthorised invoice, to Trading Standards.
I regret that this matter has reached this stage, but the lack of response and resolution has left me with no alternative.

He is very helpful with treatments, and offers very good advice with problems and how to deal with them. This year we have had many dealing dry thatch on old lawns

GreenThumb wrote to advise that they no longer had a representative covering our area, although they said the situation was being resolved. As scheduled lawn treatments had already been missed, I decided to cancel my account.
GreenThumb confirmed by email that my account had been closed and advised that someone would contact me regarding any outstanding balance. My account was in credit, so I expected the remaining balance to be refunded.
Despite my account being closed, I have not received a refund, and my recent emails requesting an update have not received a response.
This has been a very disappointing experience. Based on the level of communication and the delay in resolving my account, I would not use GreenThumb again.

My husband bought this service. He passed away 6 weeks ago. I have sent a message on their contact form as they inconveniently don’t provide direct contact, to inform them of this and request cancellation of the service. Not one response received to this or the 3 x subsequent emails to follow up for a response. My dead husband however receives emails demanding payment for a service I asked to be cancelled. I thought cowboy companies were a thing of the past, seems not.
