ASHBY BRANCH SCAMMERS
ASHBY BRANCH - THESE SCAMMERS OWE ME MONEY! They don’t answer my emails - a bit different when I cancelled my treatment plan - their manager was ringing me constantly in a threatening manner even though I had email confirmation that they would put my plan on hold. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THESE COWBOYS
Great customer service
We have used Green Thumb since moving into a new house 3 years ago. We have recently had problems with our lawns due to Red thread lawn disease. They came out within 24 hours to review and then offered a free treatment as we are valued customers.
What great customer service and would highly recommend the company.
Lawn Looking Good at Last
We moved into a new home 2 years ago. After a year it was clear the developers couldn't get the lawn near where we wanted it so we called in the experts. Green Thumb primarily through their representative, Stephen Vicat, have helped us get a real lawn. The task was massive with part of the lawn ravaged by leather jackets and jackdaws and the rest very patchy at best. Steve is full of useful advice and guidance and has made a big difference. We have had a few occasions where head office have given us inconsistent or wrong advice but overall Green Thumb have done a good job so 4 stars to Green Thumb and certainly 5 stars to Steve.
Lee from Banbury branch
We have had several visits by Lee from Banbury branch of GreenThumb. He’s always responsive, cheerful and full of knowledge about how to treat our lawn. Highly recommend.
Thank You and Goodbye
I have been a customer for more years that I can remember, but not for much longer. I received a letter today advising me that the cost for my lawn treatments is going up by 41%. I understand that costs are going up for businesses as well as for individuals but a 41% rise is outrageous. no wonder inflation is rising again. At the end of the day, having my lawn treated is not essential, as such I can do without it. By not recognising this, Green Thumb have "shot themselves in the foot" with this ridiculous price increase, as I will now cancel my subscription.
I tried to call to cancel my subscription this morning but couldn't get through as the lines were all busy and I waited for some time in a queue, before giving up. I guess I wasn't the only one trying to cancel their service today.
Updated 27/04/23 - I have tried three times now to Green Thumb them and gave up after waiting almost 15 mins in a queue, which gave no update as to whether you are progressing up the queue. I don't believe anyone is even answering the phones. I will tell the operative when he comes I'm done with them I have already engaged another local company at a lower price for the same treatments and I'm already receiving better service.

I've used Green Thumb Worcester for a number of years, since moving into this region. All the workforce that have visited, have been courteous, cheerful and hard working. On completion of their work, they leave my garden in a clean and almost not worked on state (I have CCTV so I know they've been). I can't recommend them highly enough.
Costs versus Benefits
I am a senior citizen and I have relied on Green Thumb for many years
However, we have seen both foxes as well as badgers repeatedly destroy our lawn, even after expensive pest control treatments
I could not recommend Green Thumb, if you live in a rural area where animals are likely to be present
I have also paid for lawn scarifying to prevent the growth of moss but GT just bag the debris and leave the customer to dispose of the bags. Difficult for a senior citizen who is no longer driving!
Ultimately the cost of the service far outweighed any visible benefits so I closed the account.
Lawn Transformation
After moving house we knew we needed some help with our lawns and we are delighted with our services from The Green Thumb Stafford Team! We have been using them now for over a year and the lawns have been transformed. We’ve had a lot of comments on how well they are looking for the time of year and are looking forward to seeing what they look like this summer. Definitely worth the money!
Green Thumb customer 16+ years
I’ve been a loyal Green Thumb customer for over 16 years. Never had a poor experience with them. I find them to be helpful and much knowledge that they share with me on most visits. Tony has looked after my front and back lawn for probably the last 10 years and quite honestly I wouldn’t trust any other company.

James Haddow treated our lawn yesterday.
He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and gave us a lot of advice.
We were very happy with the service he supplied.
Customer Service second to none
Green thumb undertook a treatment just over a week ago and because I was away they had to clear the leaves off the lawn. On my return the lawn was covered in leaves again and I jokingly phoned them up to tell them the lawn was covered again. Anyway I tidied it all up and lo and behold they turned up today and cleared the leaves that had accumulated over the last few days. I couldn’t believe that a business would be so considerate but all credit to Steve who covers the Preston and surrounding area. This company continues to impress and they have my custom for life, brilliant customer service and really nice people to do business with. All done without charge.
