Some delivery drivers are rude and some scary

In the past my deliveries have been horrendous, last delivery driver, did bring to my third floor flat, but said he wouldn't do it any more, I said the I won't buy from Iceland again he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed that was a couple of months ago. So I thought to give them another chance, I placed order online last night for del between 10 and 12 it is now 1oclock, I phoned helpline and was told should arrive by 2pm..it shows delivered on my online account, what's going on? They have in the past just left outside the front door of my flats, on the pavement .. This is the last time. UPDATE.. arrived at 2. 30pm, driver was lovely no problems... Never had an explanation or apology from Iceland

…Never again,

For the first Time I bought some luxurious ready meals. Out of the nine I bought three were exceptional. Three were well below standard even for a basic meal.
One in particular was steak and mash with added cheese. The mash and gravy was ok but the diced meat was un chewable along the veg you could just manage.
After trying having eaten the mash and gravy the rest of the meal went in the bin. Cooked exactly as instructed, out of the meat I managed to chew two pieces befor spitting it out. The rest which are duplicated meals have now gone into the bin.
DON`T BUY its not worth the cooking, Graham.

Iceland has

Iceland has, I found, some of the best drivers in the business bar none. However my recent experiences with their 'customer services', about a promo code which didn't work, when they just went silent means I no longer use them, after many years.

Negative 0 review

Today, at about 18:48, I went to make some purchases and i saw some items at reduced price. On getting home, I discovered I was charged £2.80 rather than reduced priced of 0.84p this is over 150% higher. Most disappointing was no apology from the staff, this shows that it was a delibrate action. Its is quite upsetting, discriminating.

Bag of my shopping was missing

Bag of my shopping was missing. I tried to ring the store last night and nobody answered and customer service had finished. I rang this morning and was told i should have noticed this so I explained i did. After basically being accused of lying i explained i work full time have my elderly mum living with me and i have my four grandchildren every work day evening so their parents can work. So yes im very busy but finally after over an hour while she did an investigation i was told my missing shopping would be delivered tonight. If not il just ask my bank to reimburse the money. And some of my items were changed without informing me which I didn't mention. So il have to go through the bag with the driver everytime I order online. Its the only way to save me time and the headache of being investigated like im a thief

Iceland keep your monies

I placed an order with Iceland that came to £45.45 after discounts & after a £6 off voucher was applied.
They failed to deliver an item that cost £1 & in return, refunded me 4p.
When questioned they said this is correct as they apply the voucher proportionally based on individual item value in the order.
I am now left 86p out of pocket because Iceland didn't have an item in stock. It's their error, not mine, I should not lose money due to their error.
If they do this to all their customers then Iceland will be stealing millions of pounds.
I often receive one plastic bag in my delivery that cost £1.60 but don’t complain about that.
Sort it out Iceland this is like Robin Hood in reverse.
😮

Why does Iceland have a delivery…

Why does Iceland have a delivery service which they can’t live up to. Things can go wrong with a delivery service but a courtesy call would be appreciated for an explanation as this is the second time we have had a day wasted waiting on the delivery.

Security guy owns the shop and it’s his rules!!!

If I had the option to avoid Iceland food, I would choose that, but one-star Iceland food doesn't deserve praise. Maybe their food is good, but the staff who work there are disgusting. I have lived next to Iceland for the past four years and have witnessed many incidents, like people complaining about a security guard who acts as if he owns the shop. When you arrive at the shop at 8:59, you’re not allowed in because they treat customers badly. If you want to contact me for more details, I am happy to provide them, but I won't discuss it here. It’s awful. It’s the worst place to shop. By the way, I have more stories to tell if you're interested; if not, that’s your choice. If you want to solve the Iceland problem, I think it would be good to get in touch with me because it’s ridiculous.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would! I will never shop online again. Out of stock item never refunded properly, 2 phone calls and so many emails to the worst customer support department I have ever come across. I have had to give up on my complaint because it is clear they don’t do as they promise and obviously respond from a script with such terrible English spoken and written! Delivery driver on this occasion was rude and literally dumped the bags with no care, no enquiry if I wanted to return anything!

Iceland stole £3.03 from me

I placed an order with Iceland that came to £42.50 after discounts & after a £12 off voucher was applied.
They failed to deliver an item that cost £10 & in return, refunded me £6.97, leaving the order total at £35.53, rather than £32.50 as you'd expect with a £10 item missing.
When questioned they said this is correct as they apply the voucher proportionally based on individual item value in the order.
What they should have done is apply that £3.03 of voucher to the remaining items & refund me £10.
What they actually did was refund me £6.97 & discard the remaining £3.03 completely.

I am now left £3.03 out of pocket because Iceland didn't have an item in stock. It's their error, not mine, I should not lose money due to their error.

I am still in conversation with them & attempting to get them to see sense but I've spoke to at least 4 different employees who have all refused to see sense.

Never shopping online with Iceland Foods again out of principle.

Absolutely ridiculous delivery method…

Absolutely ridiculous delivery method now. Not taking into account disabled people. It takes even longer to sort it out at the doorstep. Considering we pay for bags in our delivery cost. This is all a pile of nonsense. Plastic bags can be recycled. Mine get dropped off at the recycling in the supermarket or I reuse them for various tasks. What a stupid idea whoever came up with no bags 🙄
