Twice I've ordered online and twice they've never delivered and cancelled more order days later. Simply cannot trust Walmart.com to come through.
Lack of common sense
It’s very convenient to get groceries delivered to the door. However it would be more convenient if the delivery staff wouldn’t box you inside your own home by putting the delivery bags right up against the door so you have to push the door trough the groceries to open the door. Some of the drivers are missing the common sense part in their brains

Yes there is substitutes which alot of times is more but you can decline it. Sometimes out of stock. But all in all they have refunded or corrected the problem right away.
Pathetic
I placed an online order. I'm working outside my house. No one came by yet I received a message marked "delivered" with a photo of someone else's house.
Then they wasted my time on chat going back and forth with some foreigner and finally refunded my order except for the $20 tip I gave the driver. Meahwhile my frozen pizzas are sitting on someone elses porch rotting. Imagine this: You have a chat for your grocery service and tell me you have no way to contact the person delivering the order, so that when they make a mistake which probably happens frequently, "Oh well.... we'll let someone else deal with that rotting food on their porch, instead of fixing our mistake....that is if they even find it."

Drivers can't read numbers. There is 0-10 to remember. I had to holler across the street to ask what number house she was delivering to. She said, "Oh, 212." Duhhhh. This is all the time. She brings the bags to my house and I have to ask where the rest of it is."Duhhh"... "Where are all my meats? Where is my milk? Where is my creamer, sour cream, bread, potatoes?????!" "Duh?" I delivered them to the other house" I told her to go get them and bring them back. She did. Bread still missing. This is the second time in seven deliveries. The last time I received all of someone else's groceries. None of mine. Why pay for a service to deliver food if you still have to go to the store antway and hassle with getting refunded for paying for what you didn't get.
Awful delivery and customer service
Placed order. Chose a more expensive model because it had a deliver today option. Watched the app off and on for 5 hours. I was the last stop. Received a text I was now the next delivery. Went on the porch to wait. 1 minute after first text received a second text saying they were returning it to store. No real online chat option. Automated phone option unhelpful. Finally get a person. Speaks almost 0 English. Mind you I work with overseas customers in my job. This person spoke almost 0 English but what I did get is they would redeliver today. Called back again because I didn’t believe them. Next agent said “you know how it is. They just told you what you wanted to hear”. Will NEVER order from Walmart again.

Unreliable, expensive, awful
I placed my order this morning and paid for the 3:00-5:00pm delivery slot. At 4:44pm I received an email stating that my order was delayed but would arrive no later than 6:10pm. It is but 7:45pm and there is no sign of the order. I called the store and the first person in the delivery department was unhelpful, accusing me of rescheduling the order or messing with it in some way. I, of course, did not. Without promoting she transferred me to a member of management. This person was polite and aplogetic, stating that many Walmart stores were dissatisfied with the delivery setup, all the fault lies with the third party delivery service, and there was nothing she could do. The requested refund on the delivery fee was refused. So I am out the money for the delivery and the order, the order is hours late, and no one can guarantee if it will be delivered at all.
Walmart can do much to improve. For instance, if a customer pays for a 3-5pm slot, you need to ensure that's when the order arrives. If a delay occurs you need to be transparent; don't promise a new delivery time that you cannot uphold. In addition, consider using a reliable delivery service. Hearing management blame the delivery service you chose is not okay.

My delivery driver Leslie came out after 7:30p.m. apparently he-she couldn't find my house so they left it somewhere? Took a extremely close up pic of my package. I watched them drive by. Now I have to wait an additional 48 hours to do anything. My package isn't going to walk to my house.why not call local store?no i have to talk to Kamilo in central America somewhere. Stupid

Your Great Value Beef Stroganov Family Value is possibly the worst Stroganoff I have tasted in 50 years. First it has a BROWN Gravy sauce. Stroganoff sauce is not Brown it is a white sauce a sour cream and onion tart sauce. And your Stroganoff tastes and smells like it has sour Parmesan cheese in it. It is nauseating. Please fix this recipe! You are losing sales and you will increase sales. Sour Cream and Onions is amazing but this Farty recipe has to go!

My groceries were delivered in the middle of the night!!! This is the second time in a row that my delivery was delayed!! I am tired of the substitutes and missing items!! They never assigned me to a driver!! I thought the first delay was a mistake and mistakes happen but a second time in a row is unforgivable and i'm thinking now its personal!! They have plenty of drivers!! They are just too lazy!! This is getting redicoulus and if they ever do this again I will use Giant EAGLE and say the hell with Walmart!! about this I was told to call 1-800-Walmart and they would refund the items. I need the items this morning so said I need them delivered, he said it wasn't possible. I said I would come pick them up at Pick-up, he said I couldn't I would need to come into the store. Since I'm handicapped this is very hard for me, hence paying for grocery delivery. I think I need to try another store!!

If you can, never ever use Walmart delivery. They are 100% at leaving things off my orders!!!! I invite my friends over for the game and sure enough, half of the order is missing, including lunch food!!!! One day they were 8 hours late!! They would not refund me, nor let me pick up my order. Also when the order got here, my meats and perishables were warm, and my ice cream was liquid!!
Irresponsible service
It was a busy day at work. I wasn't going to have time to get to walmart, before I had to get home. I had to get Dog food to feed my dog. So I placed a walmart order to have it delivered at the time I got home. It arrived a few minutes after I got home. I was relieved. But everything was there, except the dog food. Of course I was charged for it and according to the app, it was shopped. Customer service suited. We will gladly give you a refund. We'll how am I going to feed my dog. They would not deliver. But I could place a new order for expedited service. Which added almost double to the charge. They don't care. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!
Not worth it for the hassle and the poor service
For the money, Walmart plus is not worth it. Initially, the service was good, but it just continues to decline. It seems lately they’re substitutions on every single order. And I can pretty much guarantee it. It’s because the people doing the shopping just can’t find the stuff.
I’ve been told by a number of the regular drivers that there’s been a huge theft problem recently. Drivers are stealing bags of food because they know Walmart will just refund it if you wish you a refund request without asking. This is equivalent to stealing from the store and this is what drives prices up.
Not to mention the fact, these idiots can’t pack a bag correctly half the time and put crushable stuff underneath heavy stuff.
I’m probably canceling my subscription today. Not worth the money if I have to go shop on my own to get it done correct correctly.
Worst experience ever
Today, 9-27-2025, I decided to order a few things from Walmart and have it delivered tonight. This is my 1st time ever(& the very last), doing this so I really had no clue what I was doing. The Walmart I ordered from was the Walmart on Route 13 in Tullytown, PA. I ordered 19 items and paid for them my credit card with no problem. Maybe, not even 5 mins later, I got all these texts saying this order is not available, this order isn't available, blah blah blah, so after 11 items that were not available, they finally text me again, a few times. 1st one said , good news, two items can be shipped tomorrow, free of charge . Then I received another one stating that Tony will be delivering my order shortly .Not 2 minutes later, I got another text stating my order will be delayed 45 minutes. At this point I'm about ready just to cancel the whole damn order. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt LOL. So my ring goes off for the front door, I said great here's my stuff. I open up my front door, well I tried to, he put the bags in front of the front door so I couldn't open it. When I did finally get to the damn bags two items were missing, which were not part of the 11 items that were unavailable. I went online to tell them that these two items were missing and they never asked if I wanted a replacement they just automatically refunded the price. This Walmart store on Route 13 is truly a freaking disaster anyway but I didn't actually expect the online service to be as bad as they are in that store. This was really a horrible first time experience. I will say one thing, I will never, ever order another thing online from Walmart, nor will I step foot in any of their stores. I know it doesn't matter to them because they have plenty other morons that will but this moron won't !!!!!

Crazy bad
Crazy. I was about 10 minutes late to get home to get the delivery. The driver just cancelled the order and I got to them while they were still at my door with the items. Walmart said the order had to be returned anyway because the driver hit cancel just a minute before because she thought I wasn’t home.
Called walmart to get it re-delivered now they say I have to cancel and wait 5-10 DAYS for a refund. That was the only money I had to spend on groceries. Guess I have to starve now because Walmart is in the stone- age and will hold your refund for 5-10 days. Absolutely insane. Do not use this service.
