Awful from start to finish
This was a terrible experience from start to finish. I bought an afternoon tea experience as a Christmas present, which expired after only a month. Why do these gifts expire so fast? Then, when reaching out to Groupon on social media, I was intercepted by a scam account, which did its best to get me to part with money. Of course, it was impossible to get in contact with Groupon, with no possible way to call them or email them. They did eventually reply and say nothing could be done, which is not good enough. Should have just taken my mum to the experience without a Groupon offer, but I guess that's how you get reeled in.
Avoid priority pass
I purchased 50% off priority pass standard membership with 1 visit included in April but instead of providing 50% off it only gave 30%. I contacted support on 27th April and it took until 4th May to be offered a refund in credits so I could try and repurchase the code. On the 7th May i recieved the refund and repurchased, however it still only gave 30%. So on 8th May I contacted them again to say I had had enough and wanted a full refund as I had no faith in their ability to honor the deal. I provided them all information and a screenshot but it is now 21st May and their customer service team ate making up terms and conditions and asking for more information. Totally unacceptable considering I am now on the holiday for which I purchased the lounge access for in April, yet had no longer access or a refund. Complete joke. I have used Groupon in the past but I will not use them again, a mistake I can forgive but their support has been atrocious. All I can assume is they they know the deal is a dud but they keep selling it, hoping people will just accept 30% off, but the deal is not as advertised. I shall be reporting to customer standards and instructing a charge back through my bank.

terrible experiance. Bought a licence for MS Office 2024 Professional. It seems that the licence has been used more than it should and has left me with an unusable copy of Office. I wonder how many people are ripped off by these scams. I should have known better, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is a scam. Do not trust these people, they steal your money.

Groupon has been no help whatsoever, just fobbing me off and saying it is Thompson and Morgan's responsibility, but they do nothing also. I purchased 3 items on Groupon and I received One of them, Then I received an email saying my order had been refunded absolutely no explanation yet the deal was and still is Available for purchase, It took ages to find out how to contact customer service on Groupon and when I did get in touch they couldn’t explain why my order was cancelled yet still on sale for my region They said they cannot speak for the vendors that sell via them yet couldn’t provide details on the vendor. Why is it too much to ask for a polite explanation as to why my order was cancelled. No wonder companies go into liquidation when they treat customers that way eventually customers go everywhere

They have become as bad as scammers. I bought a voucher for a spa to take a teenager I mentor in foster care. I searched for the one most accessible which is a 45 minute drive from where I live. The other spa locations are 90+ mins from where I live. I have not used Groupon in 10 years and remember it being an underwhelming experience, so I took a screenshot when I clicked to buy, showing the specific spa referenced for the deal. Sure enough, when I then went on to use the voucher for this spa, the response was that it could not be used with this one, and was available for gym/spas hours from where I live. This is a violation of consumer rights and I would rather fight Groupon and lose the voucher than book anywhere else. It's disgraceful, misleading and illegal sales.
Theatre Tickets Disaster - Groupon Fail to provide tickets
Brought tickets to a London Show with Groupon and they said they woud send etickets to give to the people going. After purchase they say E tickets are not available and I quote from their customer service team "You’ll just need to go to the box office a few hours before the show " and we recommend you to be in contact with the merchant and utilize your voucher to your fullest benefits" So I need to get them to go to London Hours before the show and negoatiate without any voucher getting into the venue. I think Groupon are not able to sell Theatre tickets so would advise anyone to avoid this process and go to somewhere where a ticket can be printed without having to travel to London Hours before the event to make sure of entry. Groupon of course refuse to cancel transaction after failing to honour the promise of an ticket

Their chat line is the only way to contact them seem unable to do anything about it they cannot refund or sent he tickets so I think I have been scammed. The App keeps saying something has gone wrong. I would say to anyone DO NOT BUY THEATRE TICKETS FROM GROUPON buy from a ticketing agency that can issue the tickets. No one at Groupon will be able to help you and you cannot contact them any normal way

Absolutely appalling experience. I would give zero stars if I could.
I purchased two indoor skiing vouchers as a birthday gift. Nowhere in the Groupon listing did it clearly state the expiry date. However, once the vouchers were issued, I discovered they expired after just 75 days — on the actual birthday they were intended for, making them completely unsuitable as a gift.
I contacted customer service immediately. At the time of purchase, the vouchers were advertised as fully refundable within 24 hours. Groupon refunded one voucher but refused to refund the second, despite the fact that the expiry information was not properly disclosed before purchase.
Customer service was extremely unhelpful. I was passed to a support advisor called Megha from their India-based customer service team, who refused to assist or acknowledge the issue. It felt like nobody was willing to take responsibility or apply any common sense.
Very disappointing treatment of customers and no accountability when important information is omitted from listings. I will not be using Groupon again.

What went right ! Order 2 k-pop drink bottles. Waited 10 days and 1 turns up contacted customer service and got told other one on way be with you in 3 working days 10 working days later a broken bottle turns up and customer service wait 24 hours now 72 hours and still waiting to resolve the issue
