Adverts are false, no customer support !!

No customer support phone line or email. It says press the button below to get an email ticket -yet there is no button available. It says press button in right hand corner of screen to chat to agent, button is faulty and doesn't load properly.
Bought 'lifetime Microsoft Office 2024', the advert said it was a lifetime one payment offer for the licence, yet when purchased we quickly realised it was only valid for a 3month licence. No where in the advert did it say that it would only last 3months!!! CPCC should be flooded with complaints about Groupon, they do not comply with the law!

Disgusting service

Disgusting service. We didn't get a chance to try the food in this restaurant. We were forced to leave. The staff was extremely rude, offensive, vulgar and even aggressive and deliberately did not take the order. You will not find here anything similar to the real concept of ,,Karens dinner restaurant. I advise everyone to AVOID this abomination

refund

I booked two nights away and realised I had booked the wrong dates got in touch via chat and my money was promptly refunded.
I then rebooked the correct date but the booking failed but yet the money is gone from my bank account. Groupon are no help and my money has not been refunded yet no reply to my emails anyone else have this issue

Fabulous!

I purchased 2 wash, cut & blow dry vouchers (for myself and my daughter). We were really happy with results and the service. We will be back. Definitely recommend this salon.

Modern beauty hot stone

We had 2 appointments at modern beauty. I had an amazing hot stone massage andy mam had a parafin wax hand treatment It was so relaxing. highly recommend.

Best haircut in a long time.

The best haircut I have gotten in years. She took time and did exactly what I asked for, and made some good suggestions. Sectioned off my hair and cut very professionally, not needing to go back over it like other hair cuts I have had. Brilliant I was delighted with the result. Highly recommend. I will be back and tell my friends about it.

Avoid wherever possible

After purchasing a groupon code that DID NOT WORK, customer support offer a refund in “Groupon Bucks” (in store credit) rather than a full refund. Giving 2 stars as this is the first time a code hasn’t worked.

Edit: After many (unnecessary) emails back and forth, I've been told to contact a completely seperate groupon email in order to receive my refund. This is unnacceptable and should be handled by my intial agent. Updated review to 1 star and will avoid groupon wherever possible.

Merchant experience

This review is about Groupon.ie the company itself not the merchants. I would recommend all merchants to be very careful before signing up.
My wife who owns a small massage business one room and just herself as an employee. My wife was contacted by Groupon to sell some vouchers on their website. My wife informed them that she could manage 10 massages from Groupon a week and nothing more. Groupon put the add live and sold over a 100 in a few days. My wife requested the add be taking down, Groupon response was they would need 30 days notice before they could remove the add.nearly 8 weeks passed the add was still live and over 300 vouchers had been sold. I myself got in touch with Groupon and demanded the add be taking down and the voucher sold after the 30day period be refunded. Thankfully they took down the add down a few days later but still have not refunded the vouchers that were sold after the 30 day notice period. At this point we will be seeking legal advice.
It’s clear from are experience that Groupons main objective is profit plain and simple. As a company it didn’t care about my wife’s request it didn’t care about the strain that was put on my wife and her small business.basically she was ignored as long as Groupon was pulling in the profits.

Fantastic hair & colour stylist

Such a wonderful experience, met Ronaldo an A1 colour & stylist and all staff down to lady that washes your hair are so friendly & professional it's really worth a visit..I totally recommend it..thank you all..Tina.

Receptionist disappointing behavior

1. While the service quality was excellent, the receptionist’s negative attitude toward my Groupon voucher made the experience less enjoyable. This wasn’t my first time experiencing such behavior from her.
2. You can buy a Groupon voucher twice, but the app won’t allow more. Though Salon 14’s services are great, the receptionist often questioned my voucher use, which was frustrating. This has happened multiple times during my visits.
3. If Groupon clients aren’t welcome, it’s better not to list services there. Otherwise, treat them respectfully to avoid losing potential customers. Unfortunately, I’ve faced this behavior from the receptionist more than once.

Gorgeous lunch

This was our second time to dine in the wings factory. This food is unbelievable, both in flavour and the amount you get. We used the voucher for 2 people for a burger or wings and a side on both occasions yet had a different burger and side. We joked with the waitress who was very helpful that we will definitely have desert next time lol. Lastly, the cafe was spotless and yes if you look out for a rooster on the sign you'll know you're in the right place, but you'll smell the beautiful food. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ from us.

Dublins wax museum

Waste of money.
In and out within 1 hour and that was taking our time.
Very dated.
Majority of the waxworks don't even look like who they were supposed to be.
Waxworks were too close to each other to get in and get decent photos beside them. My son was scared he was going to knock stuff over if he stood too close.
Very dark in certain areas so again photos had shadows on them.
Chamber of "horrors" is laughable.
