Absolutely fantastic party for my daughters 15thbirthday with her 9 friends & they loved it, very well organised and the New manager came her self to do my daughters party along with a fantastic assistant, every request was met and dealt with, arrived on time. I would highly recommend and I’ve booked already for my other daughters birthday, can’t wait to see how fantastic the next one will be. Thank you girls it was a pleasure.

Grumpy but gorgeous hosted my daughters 8th birthday party for 20 girls. The new owner came herself to host the party, all 3 hosts were great. My daughter and her friends all had a fab time!

A COMPLETE CON!! I would give it zero stars if that were possible. I paid a three figure deposit in order to make by daughter's 13th birthday party (on 25 November 2017) the special one such an occasion calls for only for the company to not turn up on the day leaving 8 teenage girls very disappointed indeed. I was not contacted beforehand to warn me of any cancellation - they simply did not show up and have made no contact with me since whatsoever. They have ignored all calls, messages and emails and have essentially run off with my money. No doubt like earlier reviews they will claim that they have no record of my booking but I can provide a photo of the booking confirmation after payment if they do that. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN'S HAPPINESS. NOT WORTH THE RISK!!

These people are thieves!!!!!My daughter's party was scheduled for the 7th of oct 2017. I was called an hour before that the entertainer lost a family and so the party had to be cancelled. I was left with a distraught daughter and 15 girls on their way to my house. I was promised a refund asap.
2 days later i contacted danielle for a refund and i got an email stating that regulations states they have 28 days to refund.....
Over 38 days now and 4 emails sent.....i have heard nothing from danielle or her team!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THEM!!!!!THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDSTERS...THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS BEFORE THEY COLLECT YOUR MONEY!!!!!

This company let my Goddaughter down ON the MORNING of her party. No refund received and all calls being ignored by Grumpy But Gorgeous. One Grumpy but gorgeous godmother here advising others to think carefully before booking this company.

Do not ever book a party with this company! They are a complete sham.

I booked a party for my daughter to take place on Sunday at 4pm last weekend. At 10.35am I received a call from Grumpy but Gorgeous telling me that the lead ‘Artiste’ wasn’t able to make it and they weren’t able to find a replacement. They asked me to send over my bank details and she would request a refund from the manager.

Not surprisingly the refund never materialised, they stopped answering my phone calls and never replied to my emails. So my husband called from a different number and surprise surprise they answered straight away.

I decided to contact my bank, and to cut a long story short although they have frozen their bank account, there is no money in the account to process my refund!

I feel very silly for not doing more research on this company in the first place, but I now just want to make sure that no-one else gets duped by these people.

Z We were thrilled with Grumpy but Gorgeous - the girls had such a great time and it was their favourite part of the day. We would highly recommend them and will no doubt be booking again next year! Thank you so much.

I requested a birthday party for me eight year old daughter and her friends. The hostess did not sow up and nor have we received our deposit back. They are now ignoring calls we are going to go the legal route to try and get money back. Please be warned do not use this company nothing but a scam.

Company continues to avoid phone calls and emails for my refund following a non-show of the host and basically continues to scam people of their money and their daughters party dreams. I have reported them to the OFT and to actionfraud where i hope people can get their money back for their no turn ups. Ironically enough they are very responsive when you fill in an online booking......

Awful awful awful I booked my daughter a tween pamper party 2.5 hours long the host turned up 5 mins before it stared and took nearly 50 mins to set up. Which meant the party actually started nearly an hour late.. the host was in no rush to start party and when it did start there was no interaction with the girls they had a 10 min foot spa which the water was to hot for some of them to put feet in when I said about cooling it down I got told no.. the hosts then spent the rest of time painting nails 2 at a time there was only 11 girls, the rest of girls were left to there own devices bored and running mad!! I had no tween photos no cat walk no cutical tattoos no hair colour/glitter no gift for birthday girl. The decorations I provided myself and so glad I did as host turned up with a pack of decorations u can get from party store for £5 the only photo that got taken was at the end and host became very annoyed as girls were all not looking at her phone!! I think that was the most interaction the girls got getting told off!!! I paid £384 for this party I have not received any off of money back my emails are now being ignored, which I find strange as leading up to party every email I sent I got a reply within minutes... please don't waste your hard earned money on this company if I could give 0 star I would. The response below just shows what type of company they are trying to make out I’m not a client when it was only a few weeks ago I was paying them nearly £400 they knew who I was then in all my emails phone calls they knew who I was. Typical response really trying to pass the blame and make themselves look better!!!

Impressive! The ladies who came to do Bella's party were amazing. They were very good with the girls and made sure everyone had a great time! Hats off to the team!

What we actually got was the normal spa decor (dirty and tacky fun fur blankets) with 2 unicorn cushions - no other unicorn decor, robes (again dirty and very old with sweet wrappers from previous parties in the pockets!) but no head wraps, 5 minutes in a foot spa but no pedicure, arm lotion (not shimmery), no foot lotion, plain nail varnish on fingers and toes but no nail art, eye shadow and a bit of coloured spray in their hair. There were no games, no photos or unicorn backdrop and definitely no Pinata!

The host went after 1.5 hours (we had paid for 2.5) so we ended up having to entertain the girls. I have tried to resolve this with the company but they don't respond to my emails or answer the phone. Interestingly they were very efficient when taking by booking and money! One star is too much for them.

Update 01/11 - Following the response from Grumpy but Gorgeous below I have emailed Danielle at the address suggested (which is the same person and address we have already emailed multiple times without success), pointing out that the text of this review is copied from our original email complaint so it should be immediately clear who I am and which party i am referring to but giving her those details anyway. I will update this review if I get a further response from her

05/11 - still no response despite the promises from Grumpy but gorgeous below. My email hasn’t even been acknowledged.

Amazing party hosted by N & E from Grumpy but Gorgeous. This was the best party ever ........ According to my 8 year daughter. Thank you so much for a truly brilliant afternoon. Would highly recommend.

Just an update I still haven't received a refund from GBG and they are avoiding my emails, calls.

I just had a response from gbg saying they have no record of my name nor my details of the party appointment.
However I have abbey receipt for my deposit plus a bank record of payment paid to gbg plus emails that have been sent and received by gbg.

So gbg can send all the review replies they want trust pilot has also seen the receipt of payment as gbg tried to get my reviews removed stating that I have never had any business with them. However because I had proof gbg were not able to remove my review.

I booked this company back in June for my daughter's 13th birthday party which should have taken place on Sunday.I called them on Saturday to confirm everything was ok to be told that no we can't do that time anymore, which should have been 2.00pm, the lady said that she could do a party at 11.00 am instead I said told her that this was unacceptable as I had people travelling and that I had other things booked. She said she was sorry but that was all she could offer. I was so upset that such a special day for us all was going to be ruined. I said that I would see if I could get every one there at 11.00 and I would get back to her and her reply to that was, I will be here waiting for your call. I managed to re- arrange everything and called her back numerous times and she wouldn't answer the call. Later that evening she did call me back, I advised her that it was too late and that I wanted my deposit back, she asked me to email me her my account details and she would process the refund, I'm still waiting! I have sent several emails and called numerous times but nothing. I really wished that I had read the reviews beforehand as it appears I am yet another innocent person that has fallen victim to this company.I have emailed the company and asked for my GBG-INV but they have not responded,but I can provide the booking confirmation if needed.
