Before the course even started
Before the course even started, the handbook link provided in the joining instructions did not work, so there was no opportunity to properly prepare using the official material.
When I arrived a few minutes before the course start time, I was immediately told I was late because I hadn't arrived 15 minutes early. Heavy traffic and the lack of parking made that impossible, yet I was still allowed to join without any issue.
What disappointed me most was the trainer's attitude. He made it clear that if someone did not understand English well, "that's their problem" because he was only there to deliver the course. Even several native English speakers asked him to explain the meaning of certain words in the tests differently, which says a lot.
Unfortunately, I did not pass the assessment. However, I was not shown which questions I answered incorrectly, nor was I given any explanation or feedback. I wasn't even allowed to see my incorrect answers, making it impossible to know what I should study before taking the test again.
Throughout the course, the trainer spent a lot of time telling personal stories instead of clearly explaining the training material🤷..Whenever I asked direct questions, I received vague answers full of technical language instead of clear explanations.
The only positive aspect was that the joining instructions clearly explained what documents to bring and how to find the location.
I will definitely choose a different training provider next time. Professional training should focus on helping delegates understand the material, not simply reading slides and leaving people to guess.
