Guardhog is without a doubt the most attentive, dedicated, responsive and necessary insurance provider I have ever used! If you are currently or considering short term letting then Guardhog is an absolute must. Take it from me, don’t risk it. You will regret it.

Unfortunately for me everyones worst nightmare came true. I entered my lovely home after a guest booking to find it had been trashed. Cigarettes had been stubbed out on sofas and furniture, my kitchen worktop had been deliberately cut with a knife, lamps snapped in half, a wardrobe destroyed etc. A total of nearly £14k worth of damage had been done in 2 nights!

The feeling I had walking into this was truly horrendous. Guardhog was one of the first calls I made, I was immediately speaking to Marina who explained what the process was, she reassured me that she was there to help me until I was back up and running. The reassurance I had having Guardhog behind me through this terrible time allowed me to take the emotion out of the situation, look at it pragmatically and focus on getting things documented.

Marina was with me all the way, constantly updating me on the progress of my claim, without Marina or Guardhog this experience would have been so much worse.

A huge heart felt thanks to everyone at Guardhog.

Chelsea at Guardhog was bludgeoned by me regarding a policy they offer called Host Cover - and I mean bludgeoned - I rang back several times to check clauses and do comparisons with other policies for Home Cover. She was delightful - knew her stuff, offered a brilliant solution to my concern about the Host Cover having a £1,000 minimum claim and overall, was unfailingly kind and helpful.
A real asset to Guardhog.
