Denied payment of a $3000k illness for…

Denied payment of a $3000k illness for my dog despite having accident and illness cover which was meant to cover 85%. Their instant response was to deny the claim before even contacting the vet for information on what the cause of the illness once. I cancelled the policy immediately when i realised they just never had any intention of paying or finding out info that would support a payment. When i finally had the energy to complain to ACFA several
months later they suddenly contacted the vet and have now submitted false information on their response to ACFA. I know this because i have a close and trusted relationship with my vet who has provided info on when they were contacted.

I only ever use these spaces to warn others so the don’t water their time and money. My experience is that COLES PET INSURANCE is a JUNK POLICY. i write this not in expectation of Guild suddenly developing a conscience but in order to save others the heartache of thinking they have coverage and making decisions on that basis. Whilst I can’t fight a system with no values and no ethics I can at least warn others to seek out better companies than this who have zero intention of honouring their policy.
