Mastery Awaits
Claus not only provides excellent content and pedagogical approaches, he makes you feel like you can really get there and instills the mastery concept from the get go.
It involves a lot of work and developing a routine of practice but that is the enjoyable bit.
While his content is expensive it is worth every penny. He is my go to instructor. Thank you Claus
Great insights but too disjointed
Claus is quite sincere and focuses on how we learn as much as what we learn. I took the $99 Fretboard Alchemy course due to my frustration at no being able to memorize the notes on the fretboard. Ultimately I was disappointed.
He spends way too much time on pep talks. We plunk down $100 for a reason.
He begins in a very systematic way and suddenly dumps one learning process for another. Disparages learning through shapes and then in a subsequent module talks about learning though shapes! The final sessions had one memorizing the patterns of individual note distributed on the fretboard, the whole issue to begin with.
I learned a lot, maybe $100 worth but no "mastery".
I purchased the speed infusion course…
I purchased the speed infusion course yesterday and learned so much from the first lick! I struggle sometimes moving beyond feeling like an eternal intermediate guitarist... I was super impressed how thorough the lesson and tab materials were. I ended up not only learning the first lick (actually about 5 or 6 licks in one) that I had fun improvising with the parts of it for about an hour. Learned way more in the first lick than a single in-person guitar lesson for about the same cost ($72 with youtube code) and I still have another 19 licks to go! I will be purchasing more from these guys- thanks Claus!
I signed up for a free course that…
I signed up for a free course that outlines 3 steps to build a practice routine. In the free course, there were no steps and it was essentially a sales webinar. No problem. My issue came when I received 3-5 texts the first say I signed up for the course, then a text every day. Then calls. VERY spammy. There was zero value for me in the free course, hence why I didn’t request more info. I sent a text saying their lead magnet provided no value and their prospecting is relentlessly spammy. No thanks.

Thank you Claus
Thank you Claus! You are the man! If anyone is wanting to skyrocket there playing and you aren’t on the lazy side then his courses are worth the money. If you indeed want to master the guitar this is a one stop shop.
The courses are such great value!
I started playing guitar in 2012, and like most people for the first 3 or 4 years I learnt from song lessons on Youtube, books, or the occasional one on one tutor. But then I decided to get a bit more serious with it. I was tired of being mediocre in every field. I was aware of Claus from his earlier days on Youtube and had enjoyed the free content and great advice in his videos. I decided to take the plunge and purchase some of his content. I have purchased several courses over the years and have genuinely doubled my efforts on guitar. Things that used to completely elude me like memorizing scales, improvising solos as well as technique issues are becoming more and more a thing of the past. The courses are so much value for money I cannot stress that enough. There is enough content in some of these courses to last months...but more importantly he knows how to make the more professional side of guitar playing seem fun to practice, this is why I struggled practicing scales and arpeggios in my first few years of guitar playing. I would definitely recommend for guitarists who want to improve, or maybe challenge your way of thinking that's why most players end up in a plateua.
Money well spent!
From a guitar teachers /session players…
From a guitar teachers /session players point of view ...
It’s all ok a bit forced down your neck so to speak, Claus has done his homework and you will learn things for sure
But it is very expensive for what it is there are lots of much cheaper ways to learn the same thing for a fraction of the price for instance YouTube is s good place to start ...,
My own personal feelings are not so much based on a review of the method rather than I don’t hear much music going on hear as a player it’s all just to clinic and no feeling which will produce a guitarist that will know much but that will not go far ....Sorry to say

Quite annoying guy
Quite annoying guy, keeps spamming after signing off.
If you don't react you get questions like: Are you in general a loser in life...
Not very trustworthy. Stay away.
Edit:
Since it was requested to add more information: I signed off first in 2020, in January this it was still a friendly email: I want you back. Never delivered to the promise of "I have set up our email system to automatically remove you from our list if I don’t see any activity". Tried again to sign off...
And then another month later: another email came with a more direct speech:
"Is it typical for you that you often end up not mastering what you set out to master in life?" Yes, everybody not signed up is probably a looser.
I complained at my email provider about this continuous spam and now it is on the spam list. So I won't get the next level of escalation...
Don't use guitarmastery. A guy that is more showing off then helping, borderline to insulting, always with the arrogant attitude... I guess there are 1000s of better teacher out there.

Just Get The Course You Want! Best Courses Available for Results!
I have a bunch of Claus's lessons and every one of these lessons are very well thought out to achieve the most progress in the shortest time. Claus has abilities in both playing and especially teaching that makes it all very easy to understand. His gift of gab and the way he deconstructs theory and technique are awesome because you really get results as long as you listen , learn, and play. The things you will learn are not only fun to learn but will also take your playing to new levels fast because the stuff your learning also sounds killer when playing and practicing making you want to learn more and play more. Thanks Claus!
Fantastic courses, cheaper than private lessons
I own several courses and they are all fantastic! These courses have changed my whole perspective on what to practice as well as how to practice.
Claus' programs are a lot cheaper than normal private lessons and it has been 100 times more useful than any private teacher i have had.
Guitarmastery.net is not Guitarmasterymethod.com
Guitarmastery.net is certainly not Guitarmasterymethod.com!!
I have to apologize to Guitarmastery.net as I mistakenly had a whole bad 1 star review posted because i thought this was GuitarMasteryMethod.com.
This bad review in which I told my bad experiences which I had with GuitarMasteryMethod (this extremely commercial company incorrectly charged my account, without my permission 8 times with a VIP course in 3 months) has absolutely nothing to do with guitarmastery.net.
The names Guitarmastery and Guitarmastery method are very similar and therefore a mistake is easily made, I have seen more bad reviews wrongly posted by customers who think they are dealing with guitarmasteryMethod.
Maybe reason for that
guitarmastery.net to start thinking about changing their name? Because of course it is confusing.
Again I don't have any experience with guitarmastery.net and don't want anything negative there about places, so I give them 5 stars in advance and a sincere excuse.

This is NOT Guitar Mastery METHOD
First of all, I have never used Guitarmastery or any of their services. I just wanted to clear up an error that I made in writing a bad review on this page. Guitarmastery and Guitar Mastery Method are completely unrelated businesses. I have used guitar Mastery Method and had a bad experience. I have no reason to doubt that Guitarmastery is an entirely great service and I would like to sincerely apologise to Claus Levin for my error and I hope this has not adversely affected his business.
It seems that several others have also made the same error so please be careful when reading these negative reviews as they likely refer to a completely separate business.

Dear folks of guitarmastery
Dear folks of guitarmastery,
Yet again I have to thank you...
I am very grateful for this free blues course since I just cannot live without the amazing variety of sounds within this wonderful artform...you are giving me the tools fed with a golden spoon!!! I realize that some things you are discussing in your teachings I am already using in my current playing but now I have also a visual pattern rather then just rely on my ears.
Thanks 🙏 again, after 20 years of playing you are taking me that step further!!! I learned a lot through your powerful and truthful words of motivation. I am a good blues player now (I listen daily to blues since it bit me when I was young) but you’re guiding me the soon being ‘damn-good player...✨
Your legato ‘course is giving me great results😎
Sincerely yours,
Dirk From Antwerp, Belgium
The Dynamic Duo - Claus and Alexander!
I love Guitarmastery.net and their amazing courses. They offer so much material that it can be hard to decide which courses to buy. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee b/c they know the courses are so good you won't want to return them (and I have not returned any of them)! Claus is a great teacher but I also want to mention that Alexander is equally amazing. His teaching style and the material he covers are a perfect fit for me and have led to my improvement significantly as a player. Thanks to you both!!
Perfect For Me
You can be a great musician and a lousy teacher but Claus is both! He hammers home a scientific and/or psychological approach to learning that can really be applied to anything in life. I have tried many courses and I have found it very difficult to stay enthused. With Claus, I always have his big personality, energy, teaching ability, and skills right in front of me to keep me excited about learning especially when I need to get to the next level and the frustration would normally set in. The support team is fantastic as well and I never have to wonder if I will get an answer to a question like so many other courses out there.
Keep up the great work!!
Dan
Where were you 20 years ago?
I’m a self taught guitarist of 22 years that would put down the guitar for months on end because of plateauing and not knowing what/how to practice. I got the urge to shred and get more serious and started picking up useful tips on youtube from random teachers, even bought courses from a couple. There are some really great players out there, but in my opinion, Claus is the best teacher I know of. The courses are well designed, in depth, engaging and highly motivating. I am progressing more and have been more motivated to play than ever before. The website design is excellent, as is customer support. Highly recommend guitarmastery courses to anyone who takes guitar playing seriously.
Guitarmastery Efficiency
Guitarmastery has the most efficient on-line courses. Claus has techniques based on the science of learning, and incorporates these in all of his programs. He stands behind his promise of satisfaction guaranteed. I recently purchased a course that was wrong for me, I received a full refund no questions asked. Now, that is what I call servicing your customers. I would recommend any of these courses to all players regardless of level of knowledge.
Thank you Gutarmastery
After 20 years without playing, I needed a leader, someone who could inspire me and give me the right way to practice again...and I found it here.
I will never stop to thank Gutarmastery, they gave me inspiration and an easy way to follow and improve my skills without getting bored at all.
Thank you guys :)
