Prompt service and great experience

I met some problems on the Gumroad platform and received prompt help from the staff (Vatsal) from Gumroad.

They managed to solve it for me within a short timeframe and I could resume my work quickly.

I wish more platforms could offer excellent service like Gumroad.

I have a permanent address in the other country than the one from which I access the internet now for buying one of the products.
I cant provide different address as it may be viewed by my bank as a breach of AML procedures and I may get freezed my bank account. I am obligated to use the same address which is under my card. All of this, despite of the fact that country in which I have residence is on the list. Awful buying experience. The worst one I ever had. Website looks like a joke also. Still do not know why creators use such thing like this website to sell their products / services as it just complicate a lot of things for the users. I have sent message to support during US working hours and nobody replied to me. Worst, worst, worst. Will overcome this, buy from other account by my friend, and then he will post also his review, probably with the 1 star, so next time you understand how to take care of your clients.

Been using Gumroad for years, purchasing free products with no issue, however two days ago I JUST bought a zbrush product related to modelling, no problem there, however I look at my card, and found out there was REOCCURING charges on my card from the same purchase that was supposed to be a one-time purchase. I'm now awaiting a response on the refund I've issued, but I gotta admit, this is not a good first-impression of all the issues people have with the site and will definitely be blocking the card from this company and deleting my account from the site... I don't know if I'll get the refund or not later, but I'll echo other people's response. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

My husband LOVES the razors and they give him a great shave!! We are in the USA and are on subscription for his razors. We have never had an issue all this time, but this time he got the wrong blades sent. Gruum was EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE to my email and sent correct blades out right away! Could not be happier with the product, company and their quick action to correct the mistake! GREAT PRODUCT GREAT COMPANY- highly recommend!

Just signed up for an art lesson membership. I’ve watched 2 videos with no problem and now all of a sudden I have an error message saying I’m temporarily rate limited and I can’t access anything.
Will try tomorrow and cancel if it persists. I feel sorry for the creator as the videos and teaching was excellent.

Hmmm. Very frustrating and not on. Had an issue with being charged extra after I had already paid, and an automatic payment being set up without my consent. It happened again immediately after, despite me trying to make sure nothing went wrong this time (I'm looking to buy a set of 8 videos in total). Customer support told me to contact the creator, despite it being a platform issue, but gave me a no-reply email addres. After I raised a dispute in PayPal (ongoing) I was sent an email admonishing me about doing this, saying I'm now banned from using the plarform, and told to cancel the dispute if I want to be unbanned. Still no help with my issues even though I had sent screenshots.

Just made a purchase.
I'm now unable to download the font for which I paid. I had to download the Gumroad app, super buggy, feels like they are trying to get as much information as possible to sell. After creating an account, I'm still unable to download the file.

Fortunately I managed to contact the designer and he agreed to send me the file.

Make a purchase on digital 3/02 and after the purchase the mediafire download link was not available. I thought no problem I will just get the item refunded.

I can now no longer use PayPal to pay for anything on the website as I requested a refund so yes in essence you are blamed not the seller.

I did contact them only to told it not their fault and it their banking partners that do it total BS.

They more less use any possible way to remove people PayPal protection. I would go direct to a seller and avoid using their website at all costs

As my title states Gumroad has worst website UI ever. I have not experienced such a puzzling and mind-boggling experience ever. I am not sure if Gumroad ever reads what creators write on Gumroad threads but they do and they suggest UI experience is horrible.
I wonder why I can't read ratings. Nothing happens if you press on ratings at all.

For instance, personal assets that I have acquired for some reason just a library. Could it simply be called My Assets or My Asset Library? I always have to guess. I am a creator on the other platforms and there as a creator, I have a dashboard but here on Gumroad main page there is no My Account thing, but instead Dashboard.

Why when opened a seller's link to Gumroad I am only connected to a seller's landing page? I cannot go to my account and do things because the landing page is the end of the road.

It could go on and on and on, but I have to stop. Many years had passed and there was enough time to make it intuitive and user-friendly. it personally came to a point that whatever assets I bought I wanted to check soon after I leave Gumroad because experience is exhausting and puzzling. I do not wish to overthink my ways and ins and outs when I just want to check something.

This ruins everything.

The most stupid email exchange I ever had with their support. After being on their platform for a while. Have give some free products away and the moment I made 1 sale they suspended my account without even asking questions or warning.

Now they accused me of selling the things I didn't sell and deleted all products and data etc.

DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM AND SAVE SOME NERVES AND TIME!

SCAM & FRAUD!
This is a scam and not a company. They blocked my creator account (I sell t-shirt art). They stole my entire payout of 450$ claiming there was a chargeback against my online shop. It would make sense if the chargeback is against one or two purchases but not on 25! So obviously this chargeback claim is just lie!) No customer service and nothing! Eventually all I’ve got was a message from some Asian guy saying go F yourself!

Absolutely not recommended. Zero response to emails, still not received payout even though it showed in my account.

I was a little worried about buying from this site, but figured since I had a one time use card with the required amount on ($10), I would give it a try. The one time use was rejected by them, but adding the funds to a normal card and then using that, worked just fine. As soon as the transaction went through, I got an email with a link to my comics.

Maybe Gumroad has fixed all the issues people have had. Or maybe it's a problem with the individual creator on the platform, and not the platform itself.

Terrible experience. I bought a expensive template from them to help me finish up a website since I had little time to do so and they even charged me an additional fee for passing Dollars to Euros as I am European. After paying they sent me the lisense of the template I bought without the template or anythine else which is absurd so I wrote to them and they replied saying how I should wait 30 days for the creator of the template I bought to deliver it to me but still after waiting all those days and contacting them back they keep sending me that same email to wait another 30 days. So at this point I am pretty sure those emails are AI programmed.

It's been 2 months since I first bought it and still no news and they stopped responding my emails.

Please avoid this platform and company at all costs and save up your money!

they are scammers , they steal money from clients and merchants. i don't recommend at all .

I received an excellent customer service when I asked a question of why my account was suspended. They explained to me and fix the problem very quickly.

I bought product through them, the seller doesn't even trade anymore. I got no product and it's been 3 months now - still no money back, they keep emailing back trying to delay things as much as possible.

Reported to bank and police

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from their website, save yourself tons of headaches - go somewhere else

Bad service , the fees are High and They steal data then re-send them their offers
